No worries

Cute and cozy house. Just wish it had been cleaner. It was overall quite dusty and floors were not vaccumed if at all. Upstairs bedroom had a tv that did not work at all. Apparently this has been an ongoing issue. Easy check-in process. House is equipped with all the necessities. Quiet neighborhood and overall cozy stay.

The place was a little unclean, I’m guessing there was a guest there immediately before us… quite a bit of dog hair, and the jacuzzi was very murky and water just looked dirty… the cabin was nice good size, not much space in terms of couch areas to sit, but there was a nice dining area to eat at. Didn’t seem like either of the 2 coffee makers worked.. beds are all “fulls” so 2 people in one bed is a little cramped even if you’re not a very big person. Over all was a good stay, but I just really feel like it wasn’t cleaned or thoroughly checked prior to our visit and newer more comfortable beds would have made a huge difference.

The hot tub was fantastic. Got up to a great temperature and jets worked. Was a very cozy place to stay. The lake is a short walk, so is the market. We had a nice quiet two day retreat from the city. I was able to smoke a cigar on the back deck also, which was a major plus. We will definitely be returning.

The check-in process was super simple. And probably the best part of the whole stay at “No Worries.” What a name because the whole weekend we were worried about everything in the house. Where do I start? The kitchen appliances in the house were still in good shape except we couldn’t get the over to turn on. The drawers were all a mess and nothing was organized. There were condiments left open inside the refrigerator! In the bathrooms, shampoo and conditioner bottles were also left open. the downstairs shower head was disgusting and the upstairs bathtub took roughly 30-45 minutes to drain! To top it off there were cobwebs in a bunch of different areas through out the house. The jacuzzi was heating up for a long while about 3-4 hours and only went up 7 degrees( very upsetting because it was quite cold at night). I won’t be staying here again.

Everything was amazing! Dudley was very quick to respond and welcoming! I would definitely recommend and will also return. :)

We had a great time. It was nice to come back to the cabin after walking the village, hiking, and/or kayaking and relax in the hot tub and watch the stars, satellites, and airplanes. The bed was comfortable and the place well kept. The owner was always responsive and accommodating.

Everything was just great about this Summer Rental. Clean/As advertised/Everything works. Great location, very close to The Village, which is I guess downtown Big Bear. Owner was very gracious to us in working with us. Jacuzzi was great. This was our second time to rent this property, and we would definitely rent again for a future trip to Big Bear! Great little cabin! Very short walking distance to the lake and not too much further to restaurants/ the village. We enjoyed sitting out having coffee on the deck and using the hot tub. Our only concern was with the overall cleanliness of the cabin, upon check in we noticed red drink stains in the kitchen sink, toothpaste stains in the bathroom sinks, dirty dishes in the dishwasher, a load of linens in the dryer. It just appeared that the turnover from the previous visitors was very quick and not thorough. Other than that this place is a great option for Big Bear stays!

The house is great, and easy to find. It’s a nice, and quiet neighborhood. It was clean and had the basics like towels and sheets on the bed. It has a smart tv, so you can stream your channels if you have your own membership. The only issues we had was the refrigerator was not at the proper temp when we arrived, the hot tub takes several hours to heat up, the kitchen knives are extremely dull, and the oven dial is so faded that you can’t set the oven temp accurately. Having coffee available was great, and they have basic seasonings and condiments in the fridge. The propane for the bbq was low, but it was enough for us. It does not have a/c but it gets lovely breezes throughout the day.

Easy check-in, secure, comfortable, all the amenities great host fast response, location perfect.

We loved the stay and child’s first time sledding.

We were very pleased with this property. The location was great. The size of the property was perfect for our family of 4 and the hot tub was an added bonus! We had an excellent stay and we would definitely stay here again! Our host was very prompt and informative and helped us with any questions we had. Thank you!

Location is good, but animal hair on the pillows on the couch. Towels were wet in the bathroom. Kitchen have nice amenities. Hot tub is nice.

Lovely property, minutes away from the village.

The place was fine for what it was—don’t get your hopes up based on the pictures, though. It looks a lot better in the photos than in real life. The house is outdated and doesn’t seem to have been updated in years. The beds are listed as queens, but they’re actually fulls, which was disappointing. It was a bit of a tight squeeze for my family, and it would definitely be tough to fit four adults comfortably.There wasn’t much space for the family to sit and relax in the living room, which I didn’t realize when booking. That said, the location is convenient—close to the village, skiing, and snowboarding—and it’s in a quiet neighborhood. There are no bells and whistles here, but for what I paid, it did its job.The property manager was great—super low-key, with not a ton of strict rules, which I appreciated. I don’t think I’d stay here again, but I don’t regret the stay. It was fine for what it was, as long as you manage your expectations. Dudley is a good host!One surprising fact was how many condiments and coffee they had! Everything is dated but I travelled with my own ketchup not knowing there would be any, so that’s a plus! Overall, the stay was fine for our family, we enjoyed it though.

I loved staying here. It was easy to find, close to the lake, and close to all kinds of food options and hikes etc.Using the hot tub at night was perfect. I hope to stay here again in the future. It was fantastic.

The place was cute. Good space for 4-5 guests. But there was a few things that could’ve made the stay perfect. The fuel tank was empty, we’ve notice some dirty stains on the living room pillows. The jacuzzi took a long time to get hot, But overall the stay was great.

This place overall was amazing close to everything that we wanted to do would recommend this place to stay

My daughter and I ran Revel Big Bear Lake half marathon and we turned it into a family weekend at the lake. Great little place with a well stocked kitchen. We really enjoyed our stay!

Just what we needed, small cabin with everything we needed

My group and I were very impressed with how close to the lake this property was! Everything was as-pictured, and there were plenty of household goods to use (pots, plates, cups, laundry, toiletries, etc.) Perfect spot with great proximity to town. This home was perfect for my group of 4! The hot tub was an excellent touch, and the fireplace in the living room was great for the chilly evenings. I will definitely be booking this location again when I make my way back up to Big Bear.

Very disappointing experience. Started with very poor/lacking info from the host, exacerbated by poor communication/handling by VRBO, which in turn led to a delayed check-in, wasting a lot of time before it got resolved. The lodge has several aspects not worthy of a rental, to mention a few: dishwasher still full from previous guest, cardboard/rubbish/random items left both inside and on the patio, random (and insufficient) cutlery, glassware, etc., ant infestation (kitchen island)... The cabin lodge shows this is a recurring theme and commented on by previous guests and clearly not addressed, showing a lack of ownership and responsibility by host/agent. Would not recommend.

Nice, quaint lake cabin near the edge of Big Bear Lake, about a mile from The Village stopping and dining area. PROS: Many appliances which families often use are include along with condiments, laundry and dish detergents, hot tub was excellent and worked perfectly, and beds were quite comfortable. Also, backyard is adequately fenced CONS: No A/C, and tenant must remove trash from property when checking out (makes you wonder why people are charged an exorbitant cleaning fee), and backyard contains no grass (all hard dirt and rocks) so not so conducive for children to play upon. OVERALL: Enjoyed our stay and pretty much met our expectations. Having A/C would have been very helpful as daytime temps were approaching low 90s but we utilized the numerous fans within the home.
