Even thought it was 45 minutes from paradise entrance it is a nice retreat for someone that wants a quiet getaway. We couldn't figure out how to operate the Sauna - we were doing it right - it wouldn't just warm up. other than that- amazing hot tub and backyard fairy garden!

This cozy little cabin was perfect for our mountain date. We took full advantage of the hot tub and loved whole experience. The proximity to Mt Rainier made our excursions convenient. What a great memory! We can’t wait to come back again.

The house was well equipped with cooking essentials, toiletry items and cozy necessities. The hot tub and sauna were so relaxing- especially at night with the string lights up in the trees. The hammock was very comfortable- so much that I am going to find a similar in for home! Highly recommend using the space heater upstairs for bed (in the winter) as it can get cold up there even with the downstairs heater working. Our host was very quick to respond when we had questions.

My husband and I spent the bulk of our honeymoon here and let me tell you it’s magical! An A frame cabin stay was on our bucket list and this exceeded our hopes and dreams. From the cozy bed with windows that allowed us to hear the rain and see into the gorgeous trees to clean hot tub and sauna it was amazing. We were even greeted by dear one morning at our porch! Not to mention the Nisqually entrance to the park is 10 mins down the road it is in a prime location. Kent and Kari are very communicative and kind, and their cleaning staff is thoughtful and goes above and beyond. This was the honeymoon of our dreams and we hope to be back to experience spring and summer!

The Nisqually Nest was a lovely little cabin for an overnight stay near Mt. Rainier. It was clean, the hosts were great and communicative, and the hot tub was a nice treat after a long day of hiking the mountain. The only downsides were the bed being too soft for our liking, and the cabin was quite dark and difficult to see. Thank you for the extra lighting on the stairs! Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

We had a wonderful stay at the Nisqually Nest! We enjoyed cooking in the cabin, it had everything we needed. The hot tub and sauna were so nice after a long day of hiking, and the backyard was a beautiful forest backdrop. We listened to records and were able to unwind. It was a quick drive to the Mt. Ranier National Park entrance, and the town of Ashford (and other small towns!). Ashford had great options for coffee and meals, and an organic farm. Thank you Kent & Kari for your helpful communication, and for making us feel welcome.

We found this cabin looking for a quick weekend getaway not too far from home for myself and my husband. I had a little trouble booking so sent a message to the host and they immediately responded and got us all settled with booking our stay! The cabin was exactly as it looked in pictures, super cozy, and rustic, exactly what we were looking for! And the property was nestled back in the trees away from most of the neighbors and noise. We spent all of the rainy weekend on the couch with a fire in the fireplace. It was the staycation we needed!

We enjoyed our stay in the Nisqually Nest. It's a lovely, clean cabin in the woods. Plenty of towels were provided. It's well stocked with plenty of staples and pots/pans/plates/cups/stemware for cooking/eating. It's got a lot of little things too that are really awesome. Like a heated bathroom floor, a mini split heat pump that provides adequate heat for the whole cabin, robes, slippers, etc. We had a power outage while we were there and could have used the generator but decided it was best just to snuggle using the battery powered candles in the dark and hot fire in the wood stove. We'll be back!

Nisqually Nest is seriously absolutely perfect! The cabin is cozy and very comfortable. After a day in the park we appreciated the hot tub and sauna for our sore legs. We recently stayed at this charming property and were truly impressed with its rustic appeal. If you're looking for a peaceful escape with lots of character, this place delivers! The cabin had that authentic back-to-nature vibe, and the décor added to the warm, cozy atmosphere. What really stood out to us was how close the property is to Mount Rainier National Park. It was incredibly convenient to be just a short drive away from some of the park’s best hiking trails and breathtaking viewpoints. We loved being able to spend our days exploring the park, then coming back to relax in such a tranquil setting. While the amenities were more on the simple side, the property's authentic, rustic charm made up for it. It’s the ideal spot for nature lovers who want to soak in the beauty of the Pacific Northwest and have easy access to Mount Rainier. Overall, it's a great place for anyone looking to experience a true, unplugged mountain getaway near one of the country’s most stunning national parks

We stayed for the weekend to travel around Mount Rainier before going on a cruise to Alaska. The hosts were wonderful. The place was a perfect getaway. The sauna and hot tub were a nice end to days of hiking and adventures. We also enjoyed playing the records and cups of hot tea before bed. The place was clean with plenty of towels. I loved how private it felt. We even saw a deer nearby. This was a great property to stay for the weekend and I would recommend it to anyone needing a getaway!
