Not just a stay, but a destination! Step up to the beautiful wood-covered porch and enter into the great room with ten large great windows, a stone entryway and propane fireplace. Climb the dark wood staircase to the loft which holds the master suite. Great natural light showcases a beautiful log bed, a workspace overlooking the main floor, and plenty of floorspace. The bathroom has a gorgeous stone tile walk-in shower and front-lit vanity. Walk through the adjacent side through the closet toyour own private balcony the overlooks the back of the property. The downstairs boasts a beautiful open concept floorplan with a fully stocked kitchen. All black stainless appliances, including a gas stove and washer/dryer for you to use. The second bedroom has a queen bed, and the third bedroom has a queen and twin XL bunk. The downstairs bathroom is incredibly spacious, featuring an extra wide tub for more enjoyable baths and is stocked with towels, shampoo, conditioner and soap.

Step out of the sliding glass door onto the over 800 sq ft of wraparound deck space. This outdoor space is heaven. There is an 8-person hot tub, bar seating area, patio furniture, and BBQ. Go down the stairs and enjoy the large fire pit area with room for everyone to sit. Firewood is available as well. The cabin sits on just shy of an acre, so there is plenty of room for yard games and children to play.

Just through the trees, there is Maple Falls Park that has picnic tables, a small recreational field and a bike track.

Just 50 ft down the road is Maple Creek Park, a wonderful trail system that’s heavily wooded and transports you to an entirely different world. If you’re looking to experience the Pacific Northwest foliage, this will not disappoint.

Just a few hundred feet down the road is Crossroads Grocery and Maple Fuels, where you can get food, drinks, and even some souvenirs and local art. There's also a coffee shop within walking distance!

About 4 miles down the road is Silver Lake State Park, a popular warm-weather destination. There are boat and paddle board rentals here and a playground for children to play on. They stock the lake with fish, so take your poles! There is also a leisurely hike around the lake!

About 30 minutes down Mt Baker highway is Mt Baker Ski Resort and Wilderness. Mt Baker is not only a winter destination, but a hiking and mountain biking destination in the warmer months as well!

We hope you choose the baker cabin for your next getaway!

We had a wonderful stay at the Baker Cabin in Maple Falls. The house was clean, cozy, and perfectly set up for a family getaway. It felt warm and welcoming the moment we arrived, and everything was just as described. This was a great spot for a ski trip, only about a 45 minute drive to the mountain, which made getting up to Baker easy and stress free. After skiing, it was awesome coming back to relax, unwind, and spend time together. We especially loved playing games as a family in the evenings. The cabin was perfect for kids and family time, and we had everything we needed for our two night stay. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone planning a family or ski trip to the area.

The Baker cabin was everything you could wish for a cozy stay. We loved the fire pit and the hot tub and the natural surroundings. The kitchen was well stocked and the renovations are beautiful! A digital house guide was sent to us as we arrived, but because we had no US phone plan and data we were unable to access the Wi-Fi and other helpful information so if I was to make one recommendation, it would be to have a physical copy of the house guide with the wifi password. Other than that, I highly recommend this place!

We loved this house! The location is ideal for getting out into the mountains easily, and the stocked kitchen worked perfectly for cooking dinner together and having a cozy evening. The beds were also so comfortable - amazing after a day of hiking. The house has plenty of space for three couples. Check in was easy, too. We'll definitely stay here again!

Our daughter was married at Wandering Waters and this was the perfect place to stay. Beautiful, beautiful area. We took a long hike and enjoyed coffee from Joe’s Coffee in the mornings. The host was wonderful.

We got in late on Friday night and the house was very cold, it took us a few minutes to figure out the heating, it doesnt come on strong and took about 12 hours to heat up to 70 after that it was fine and the fireplace helped. Other that that the place is great! Beautiful kitchen and
