- Winter weather and the road conditions they create cannot be predicted. There are many factors involved, like the duration and severity of the weather, the vehicle being driven (all-wheel, 4-wheel drive, front wheel drive, rear wheel drive) and the expertise of the driver in bad weather and on rural roads, and these can all play a significant role. Highway 127 and Pomona Road are plowed by the county. Godwin Road and both driveways are flat, but are not plowed. Because of these things, in the event of significant winter weather we will be happy to credit your payment toward a booking within 1 year of the original one. No refund or partial refund will be given if the original reservation is kept.
- Cell Coverage: The predominant carrier for the region is Verizon. Depending on your carrier, cell coverage may be spotty. Please check coverage maps with your carrier to verify coverage if you have a question. A landline phone is available in the cabin with free calling in the continental US.
- Internet: For a rural location, ours is one of the best around. However, it is satellite internet. High usage can result in throttling. For this reason it cannot be used for streaming, gaming, or Zoom meetings. Please note, overage charges may apply with heavy usage.
Girls trip 2023 was a huge success. This was actually our second time staying at the property. We love the outdoor space and the well-stocked kitchen.
Very clean and very nicely decorated. We loved it! I would definitely stay there again.
This cabin is wonderfully furnished and very well kept. Not to mention the great location near our 2 favorite wineries and the pomona natural land bridge. I highly recommend this place!
What an awesome experience. We loved every minute. The weather was perfect, but if it had rained the house was setup just right that we would have also been happy.
The lofy was a great place to have the family gather and celebrate our daughter's graduation. The amenities included worked perfect for our group. Area was wonderful just far enough to be peaceful and close enough to get what we needed.
We came for a quick long weekend with our HS and college age kids. The space is well designed, very comfortable, and allowed us to enjoy being together. Nearby hiking / national parks, and local attractions rounded out the fun! Highly recommend.
Loved the property. Came in for a long weekend and the place as exactly as listed. Cabin was extremely clean and had plenty of kitchen utensils, pots and pans, etc. for cooking, if you choose. Property manager contacted us within 12 hours of checking in to ensure all was well. King bed was very comfortable. Plenty of linens, blankets, towels, and about anything else you would need. Highly recommend this property and we will book here again!
My wife and I loved the cabin and the amazing property. Our favorites were the wood burning stove and the access to the trails. Our cabin very clean and so cozy, we didn't want to leave! We look forward to staying here again.
Everything was perfect, from booking, communication, location, the home's decor, and amenities. We were so happy with our long weekend in the area! We will most definitely be back.
We loved our stay at The Loft! On arrival the cabin was very clean, and ready for our stay. We loved the private location and rural setting. Our 8yr old son loved playing the “old school” Nintendo games with his dad too. Lisa and was wonderful with reaching out to us when we got there to make sure everything was to our liking, as well as answering any questions we had. Thank you for a great stay!!
We had a great experience! The cabin was really clean and the pictures do not do justice to the cabin. The cabin looks better in person. We had Thanksgiving dinner and the kitchen is fully equipped with everything you may need!
This is a wonderful property with lots to do! Kids enjoyed board games, puzzles, NES classic, and the loft area. I enjoyed the great kitchen and how close it was to Shawnee Forest. Fireplace added some ambience to the stay. We plan on coming back in the spring or summer to stay again!
Had a wonderful visit to wine trail, nice location and perfect accommodations for 6 women. Very clean and spacious. Plenty of amenities provided. Would definitely recommend!
We stayed in both of the cabins for the weekend to celebrate our daughters upcoming wedding. The cabins are beautifully decorated and have everything you might need. Wonderful weekend and enjoyed the wineries that are close by!
We have stayed at many vrbo’s and this was the best equipped. Great house and even better surroundings. Had fire in pit every nite. Thanks
It went a lot easier than I thought.
For our family, this was a perfect location. We were able to hike each morning and visit area wineries, breweries, and local eateries in the afternoon. The cabin is spacious and provided plenty of space inside and out for our family to talk, tell stories, and play games.
My wife and I found this to be a wonderful home in the woods. Our grandkids loved it, too. A spacious cabin with TV, deep tub, washer and dryer, and a complete kitchen, the place lacked nothing. Three bedrooms, two baths, and windows lookin onto majestic trees in the surrounding forest.
This property was perfect for our family girls' getaway! The right number of beds and bathrooms, gathering areas, quiet seclusion and pristine cleanliness. All of us loved it. We highly recommend the property. Wonderful hosts, too! You can't go wrong if you choose this place.
Staying at the loft was a wonderful experience. Very clean, cozy, and comfortable. The kitchen was so well stocked, they had everything we could have needed. We loved everything about this place!
Honestly our stay was gorgeous and the review I wanna leave even feels few and far between as far as complaints. The cabin was exactly what my friends and I were seeking to get back in touch with nature. We loved the reading nook before the front door. The kitchen and extensive spice rack was a delightful surprise, the great table was perfect for us to connect over meals and that jet tub was a phenomenal way to retire at night. Really the only things I'd say to that would have made this stay perfect was additional light sources surrounding the fire pit. Loved the outdoor amenities but as city slickers the pitch black of night time in the forest countryside was an adjustment and additional lighting circled around the fire pit would have made us feel more secure and at ease at night. Also curtains in the kitchen would have been nice at night too. The pitch black window was a little spooky at night. Again niche and few complaints, our stay was truly amazing and 10 out of 10 would recommend to our friends.
Great place. Extremely well provisioned. We are spoiled so would have liked another shower but since we are good friends we just took turns using it. Loved our stay.
Second visit, better than the first. Found more hiking and pretty amazing places to eat. Don’t miss The Iron Whisk in Cobden, and Dinner Bell Too in Anna for breakfast/lunch. Property is decidedly remote, situated in a meadow. Be prepared to drive 15-30 minutes for any groceries, restaurants, etc., and enjoy the lovely scenery coming and going. When you get to the property, you cross a little creek by car to get to the place. Everything you need is here, property manager is attentive but not intrusive. Vacation rental done right - easy to give it five stars.
