Winthrop, Washington
Recently built Mazama Mountain Hideaway is waiting to be your basecamp for fun!
Mazama Mountain Hideaway is perfect for 4-6 people to enjoy the space and privacy of three separate bedrooms in our newly constructed and beautiful cabin located between Winthrop and Mazama. We are about 10 miles west of Winthrop, and about 3 miles, or a 5 minute drive from a tasty scone or baguette at the Mazama Store.
The downstairs features a nicely appointed kitchen that is ready for you to cook great meals for your friends and family. Enjoy your meals, in the natural light of the beautiful dining nook that seats 6 adults comfortably with views of Flagg Mountain and Goat Peak in the distance. The downstairs also features a toasty propane fireplace, bedroom, full bathroom, and coat / boot room with all new washer and dryer to help you clean up after your adventures. While we generally appreciate going to our cabin to unplug, we do provide wireless internet, HDTV, and 4k BluRay DVD with a Bluetooth capable audio system for entertainment.
The upstairs features two larger bedrooms and a second full bathroom. All three bedrooms are furnished with very comfortable new queen beds with goose down comforters in the winter, and lighter bedding for summer. Many of our friends and guests remark that these mattresses are more comfortable than what they have at home. Let us know what you think!

If arriving at night, please consider keeping a headlamp or flashlight handy as there are no streetlights. The cabin is on a gravel drive that is plowed regularly.
Easy access off the Highway, Very Quiet, Comfortable, Clean and Cozy. In Deer Country. Beautiful setting in the trees. Peace
Our family had a wonderful weekend in the Methow. We enjoyed the outdoors and then headed back to the cabin to cook, play games, do puzzles and relax. Beds were super comfortable and kitchen had everything we needed. Thank you!
Very nice place to stay while visiting the National park. Everything matched the description on the listing. The house was clean and in a nice neighborhood.
Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful home! The home was clean and cute and had all that we needed to make our stay great! The towns of Winthrop and Mazama were both excellent and offered every convenience. I’d definitely recommend this mountain hideaway.
This was our third stay at this property. We have been fans of the Mazama/Winthrop area for a long time and this cabin makes us feel right at home.
Beautiful cabin in quiet area. Just off Route 20. Close to Rainy Lake, Maple Pass and Blue Lake Trailheads.
It was very comfortable and clean, stayed cool in hot weather. The kitchen was well appointed, appliances were new and excellent. We were surprised however that there was no dishwasher. I would stay there again.
We had a quiet relaxing trip. Kids were able to play outside, go sledding, take walks, and ride bikes. No light, sound, or really any other kind of pollution. House provided everything we needed.
Cozy and on the living area / kitchen is on the slightly smaller side. But 6 adults got along just fine and plenty of seating / lounging still to be had. Kitchen and bathrooms were well supplied and it was nice to have home amenities available. Really impressed there was covered parking. And location was favorably accessible for our activities. Would recommend!
Great, cozy spot right near the Mazama trails and store. Would happily stay again.
Really enjoyed our stay here! The kitchen was great and so was the extra space in the bedrooms and the big kitchen table. It's also great that they provide space to drop your outdoor gear before moving into the main living areas. Super quiet and super convenient to the great outdoors! We were slightly irritated by the tiny flies that congregate outside at night and are attracted to light, but it wasn't a big deal. Definitely a great property!
We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Mazama Mountain Hideaway. We used this great cabin as a jumping off point for several adventures, including North Cascades National Park and Maple Pass Loop hike. We started each morning at the Mazama store and then headed out on an adventure. The cabin is perfect! Newly built and furnished. Great location, well-supplied, and tastefully decorated. Communication from the owner made every piece of this trip so easy. Thank you!
Excellent accommodations. The host was very responsive and informative.
We loved your place , beautiful cabin and absolutely loved the area , thank you for recommending the little water hole , we went there every day. You have a wonderful place and highly recommended to everyone!!
We had an absolutely incredible time staying in Mazama. It was the perfect spot for our family vacation; within easy reach of some incredibly beautiful trails in the North Cascades and with everything we needed in the property to make our stay enjoyable. Communication with the host was fantastic. They were very responsive and helpful. Highly recommended!
Cabin was perfect for our family of four. Clean and well maintained, in a great location - not too far from town but in a beautiful area. We had a great stay and will try to book this cabin again when we come back.
