Stayed Jun 6, 2025Our picklball group rented this for our annual pickleball trip. We were unanimous in agreeing, that this is listing is a gross misrepresentation of facts. It only has 3 bedrooms, and the 4th is a loft that you have to climb a ladder to get to. Try lugging carry-on luggage up a ladder when you are nearing 60 years old. There is no privacy in the loft and everyone down below can see you. Forget about any romance or changing clothes. The ladder area is so narrow that heavy set people struggle to fit in the ladder chute area when trying to climb the ladder.The pickleball courts are NOT what the picture advertise. They are pitted, the paint is worn off, they used the wrong paint and it is very slippery, and overall unsafe. There is fencing right next to the boundaries, so you can't serve or hit a ball near the boundaries. If you were to slip and fall off the deep side of the courts, the fencing is not strong enough to hold a person, and you could get badly hurt because there is a considerable drop off. The host committed to redoing the courts nearly 3 months ago, but went back on her word without telling us. We contacted the host immediately after seeing the courts and she said she never advertised them as professional courts. When we asked for a refund, she ignored our emails. There is a missing light bulb above the dining room table, so any activity on that side is hard to see. I would rate this 0 stars if I could.

Stayed Jan 17, 2025Had a great time. Close and convenient to Blue Ridge. The nook upstairs and hottub were hits for the kids.
