New River & Gauley River family cabin -10 minutes to state & national parks

This place was clean and tidy. We spent the first half hour gawking at the decor. It was very comfy and I did not want to leave. Thanks for a good stay!

The house was perfect for our family of six. The host was super nice and communicative and we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay at NRG.

Nikki is the hostess with the mostest!!! Very responsive to questions and she wrnt above and beyond for us. She drove us to our tour because we did not have a car on day 1. She also gave us a taste of her home grown eggs and honeycomb! Her place is amazing and very clean! I would highly recoher place.

Wonderful cabin!

I reserved this for friends coming in for a visit and they LOVED it! She wanted to know if it was for sale they said they'll be back, they loved the bee decor, and the sauna. Everything was very clean and comfortable.

The house is so cute, and love the bee theme! And area has so many trails, I would highly recommend.

Excellent all the way around

The cabin was very clean, the beds were comfortable, the sauna was interesting, and the Wi-Fi was good. We cooked a lot and had everything we needed. The scenery and nearby hiking was spectacular. The host was quick to respond. We had a great time!!!

Everything was great and Nikki was really great at communicating with us before and during our stay. The area had gotten a lot of snow a couple weeks before our stay, so Nikki reached out to let us know that the roads/driveway may be icy and gave us the option to reschedule our stay for another time which was really kind of her. We decided to come anyway and had a really great stay! The cabin was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed for a long weekend. The cabin is perfectly located if you're planning to spend time at the national park. The only thing that I wish I knew before our stay was that the hottub isn't available to use during the winter months due to the potential for freezing pipes. It was my fault for missing this since it was listed in the details of the amenities, but I would recommend maybe putting this in the main description of the cabin so other guests are aware.

If you have kids, this is a great place to stay! So many thoughtful kid friendly features from stainless steel cups to step stools in every bathroom to creative toys galore. My kids loved discovering all the magical touches (fairy doors, glowing mushrooms). Good outdoors space to romp around, climb, and play.

Everything was perfect!

Absolutely incredible stay. This was the hostest with the mostest! Nikki has literally thought of everything to make our stay just perfect. This was a girls trip with my friend. It is as great, we each had our own bedroom with our own full bathroom. Fully stocked kitchen for basic meal, we only ate out once during our 4 day stay. 10 out of 10 highly recommended!! Great for kids and animals too.

The cabin was wonderful and the host was so helpful and friendly. We had a great weekend. I've saved the cabin so I can stay in it again on our next trip to the area.

We were staying to go to the Gauley River rafting…all the space was perfect for us!

The cabin was nice, the driveway could have been tragic. I couldn’t turn my van around and had to back out on to a road with little visibility.The “ hot tub” was under welming.My group enjoyed the quiet.

My friend and I stayed here on a hiking trip to New River Gorge National Park. The property is cute and quaint, with thoughtful details in every room, nook, and cranny. The upstairs loft is spacious and cozy, the perfect place to serve as an extra bedroom, kids room, or play room. The outdoor hot tub and sauna were great and had a beautiful view of WV wilderness. Nikki was responsive and kind. I would love to stay here again someday and I highly recommend it to anyone staying in the area!

Beautifully appointed retreat. Picturesque surroundings. Lots to do locally, lots of games and spa on site. Comfortable beds. Kitchen fully stocked. Impeccably clean.Cannot say enough about how wonderful of a hostess is Nikki. Thoughtful and quick to respond to questions. Driveway is steep, but doable. Wonderful getaway. Highly recommend

Nikki’s home is simply lovely. Not only is it spotlessly clean, it has a lot of charm. Sipping coffee on the porch swing was my favorite! The kitchen suited our needs. The location was convenient to New River Gorge.

Everything was just as advertisrf and communication was great. I highly recommend staying here when travels bring you near.
