New Hot Tub! Huge View! Mountaintop Cabin -4BR- 8 Min. to Town!

This is our second stay in 6 years and we were not disappointed. All rooms were very clean and we had everything we needed. The views are just amazing and the scenery changes throughout the day and position of the sun and clouds. Such a peaceful getaway!

The house was beautiful and perfect for my family. There were little touches that showed how much the owner cared about the house and the people who stayed there. I found the house to be as advertised. It was clean and everything worked. The view was gorgeous. Seven of us stayed there. There was plenty of room and we had a wonderful time. I would give it more than 5 starts if they were available. The host was easily accessible via email. The kitchen was very well supplied. We did very little cooking, but for someone who wants to cook, there were plenty of cooking utensils and supplies including spices and dried herbs. The hot tub worked fine and was most enjoyable. We didn’t use the indoor fireplaces, but did use the outside one and it was great. I was very impressed with the way the house was built. Real wood and stone were used for the whole house. It was just plain gorgeous.

Absolutely amazing stay! This mountain cabin was everything we hoped for and more. The views were breathtaking, the atmosphere was so peaceful and relaxing, and it was the perfect getaway to unwind and recharge. The drive up is not bad to the cabin (it is gorgeous), a narrow road up, but not too steep (any car can make it) and roads are paved, once in driveway it is gravel but flat so very easy to get in the driveway. The owner truly went above and beyond throughout our stay — incredibly responsive, helpful, and genuinely cared about making sure we had the best experience possible. We can’t thank him enough for the hospitality! We would absolutely recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a beautiful mountain escape and would stay here again in a heartbeat. 5 stars all the way!

This house and location were the absolute perfect spot for our crew! We had kids and adults there, and everyone had a blast! The house was stunning and spacious. The owner promptly answered all of my questions and was super helpful. I would absolutely stay here again if head back to Blue Ridge!

This is a great cabin! We have stayed at many cabins in Blue Ridge over the years and this is one of our favorites. It has a great, open view of the mountains with large windows in the main area. The host is very responsive and accommodating. Highly recommend!!

The views were absolutely stunning! The house was very clean and the entire setup was perfect for a mountain getaway! They private drive made the cabin feel very secluded, but it really is only 10 minutes to town! The host was always available when needed and was very courteous. We have already started looking for available dates to plan our next stay!

We had an excellent stay with beautiful views at this property. Hands down the most well stocked VRBO we’ve ever stayed in (bonus-it had plenty of pantry space which is extremely abnormal in vacation rentals for us) Communication was great. Would absolutely recommend!

WOW just WOW. Did not disappoint!!! Everything was exactly as described. Check in and check out was seamless. Host was very communicative. Host immediately addressed any minor issues that occurred and really cared about our stay!The home is gorgeous and we had the most beautiful mornings on that porch along with the most magical sunsets. We saw fireflies in the trees right by the deck and watched lightening in clouds far away above the mountains in Tennessee! The house was conveniently located to everything. The beds were the most comfortable I have ever stayed in actually! I wish we could come back! We stayed with friends and everyone had their own space. It was great.

This was the best stocked VRBO we have ever stayed in- They thought of everything! Loved the location- far enough away yet close enough to town. Beautiful views, amazing deck, hot tub, games: the options were endless. Would highly recommend!

My family of 5 stayed at this wonderful home and we had more than plenty of room. My kids loved the game room area and bunk beds. It’s in a great location because you feel very remote but yet you’re so close to the town. Would definitely stay here again.

This was a great trip for us! Views were great, property is secluded but only 10 minutes from town. It was quiet, clean, well stocked, easy to access, and information provided was clear, concise, accurate and very helpful. Plenty of games to keep you entertained! It was a wonderful stay and we would absolutely stay again.

Beautiful home. Lovely location. Outstanding communication with owner. Only reason for 4 stars and not 5 because of tree growth directly in front of hot tub on 2nd deck—we love trees, but these need to be cut back. They’re obstructing an amazing view! Porch furniture needs to be updated.

Despite the weather not cooperating, we had a great time staying here. The property was clean, spacious, and the communication with the owner was great. It wasn’t a problem for our truck, but something to be aware of is that the driveway is incredibly steep. Awesome view and close to Blue Ridge.

Words can't do justice to the stay at Splendid Summit. The place was incredibly clean, the view from the balcony is amazing, and the amenities of the cabin are top notch. Rusty was great to communicate with and responded quickly with any questions that we had.

We have traveled a lot in our lives and have stayed in hotels, resorts, motels and many VRBOs. I would have to say that this is the best and most accurate VRBO have ever used. And that was an unanimous decision between five adults and 3 teens. They had lots of board games and the big games in the description. Extremely clean and some of the better beds ever had in a VRBO. The view is amazing and the host was easy to get in touch with and responded promptly. We will be returning to this area again and this will be the first choice of where we will stay. You can’t go wrong for a great family place.

Beautiful cabin stocked with everything needed to make it feel like home away from home. Impeccably clean space with new furnishings and soft goods. Very high elevation, but great roads make it easy to access. Very close to town and all the major activities in the area.

This is a great cabin with a beautiful view! We really enjoyed the layout and the open view from the main rooms. We have rented many cabins in Blue Ridge over the years, but this is definitely one of our favorites. We did not have our children, but the game room looked amazing. Would definitely recommend!!

This house was one of the best we have stayed at for our yearly New Years trip to the mountains! The house was equipped with everything you could need and more! The best part though is the incredible view! We are already missing it! We would definitely highly recommend this property!

The privacy, unique architecture, and modern amenities created the perfect retreat for relaxation and quality time together. The cabin was impeccably maintained, with cozy furnishings and thoughtful details in every living space.The host’s hospitality and responsiveness leading up to, throughout, and after our stay were exceptional, adding to the overall experience. We highly recommend Splendid Summit to anyone seeking a peaceful mountain retreat. Can't wait to return!

Simply wonderful. Close enough to town for the convenience but yet far enough out for seclusion. We had total peace and quiet through the entire stay and enough room for the family to enjoy it all. The view is very nice and the few neighboring houses that are nearby were neither seen or heard the entire stay.

We had an amazing time! The Cabin was clean and is very spacious and comfortable, and the view is spectacular! It was a bit confusing to find at night, though not too bad. Adding coordinates to the directions would be nice! Overall a great stay, we would definitely recommend and plan to come back!
