Stayed Jun 12, 2026The view was fantastic. We could see the lake both down the hill from us in the distance and the pool was close enough to determine when we wanted to go based on how busy it was. We are group of 7 age 66 to 15. The lake and pool are close enough to walk to but with the winding roads it's a bit far for our group. The cabin had an air conditioner in the upper loft which was not on when we arrived so it was very hot upstairs. Once we turned it on it did cool down and was comfortable enough tosleep. The wrap around deck was fantastic. The floors were extremely dirty that we all had black feet the first 2 days. We did mention the need for cleaning to the host. They plan on discussing it with the cleaning crew. The games do not work properly in the upper loft. The kitchen has bare minimum supplies which is unusual for cabin. We have been going 2x year for the last 30 years. So I can tell you from experience it was lacking. We did go to the store and purchased more kitchen towels/ washcloths. The couple that slept on the pull out bed said it was very uncomfortable but most pullout beds are. We felt for our group it was small. If your adults with younger children it would be an okay size. Overall we had a great time at Douglas lake resort and will look for a different cabin in the same area for our next trip

Stayed Jul 14, 2025Our family had such a a great time! The pictures are all accurate in the posting to reflect this beautiful cabin. The cabin was clean and well cared for. The kids had a wonderful time in the upstairs game area. Everyone loved the hot tub and the gorgeous views from the back patio. We got a chance to swim at the community pool, which was also clean. The area was very peaceful and close to many attractions. The host is attentive and kind. My family and I are looking forward to coming back next summer to enjoy another fun time here.

Stayed Oct 23, 2022We loved the cabin. Everything looked new and was very clean. The only comment we can make was the remote for the light/ceiling fan to the two bedrooms didn’t work independently. When you turned on the light to one bedroom the light came on in both bedrooms.
