New 2/2 Log Cabin, Rushing Trout Stream, Hot Tub, Fireplace, 8 acres, WiFi

The cabin was perfect, had everything we needed. So clean! Great communication!

The cabin was perfect, the location was exactly what we were looking for. Peaceful. The bluebirds nesting 6 inches from the window was an added treat. The housecleaner needs to me commended, everything spotless and the landscaping perfect. Just replace the sofa and you'll have paradise.

This cabin was very nice and we loved the location right on the creek. Our only issue was that the dishwasher wasn’t working at all so that made us a little concerned about the cleanliness of the dishes that were put away and we had to hand wash everything which isn’t ideal for a vacation but not terrible. We also had to pay for our trash or take it to the dump which is also a little inconvenient. The couch could use replacing, it is very worn out. Overall though we enjoyed our stay. The beds were comfortable, it was very clean and well stocked. The covered hot tub and porch were great, especially since it rained the whole time we stayed.

We had the best time at this cabin! Secluded, private, clean, fully stocked, comfortable and updated! We enjoyed the hot tub and spending time by the creek and on the awesome back deck. We will definitely be back!

This was a wonderful stay! The cabin is beautiful as well as in a beautiful setting. Everything was clean and well kept. The hot tub was awesome! Had a few questions and the owner responded quickly. We will definitely try to go back again!!

Quiet place

My husband and I wanted a quick get away with the dogs and this was a perfect location. The dogs thoroughly enjoyed the creek and room to run around. My husband also enjoyed some fishing while I looked on from the large back porch. The cabin is as pictured and the kitchen was well equipped. There was a small issue with the hot tub which was brought to the owners attention but nothing that prevented us from having the best time. We will definitely be back.

Great cabin, very relaxing right on the stream. A little inconvenient to have to take your trash off as the paper on the desk requests, a few cobwebs here and there, tv was filthy and the couch isn’t the most comfortable for sitting bc it’s a sleeper sofa and has been pulled in and out a million times I’m sure but over all my husband and I enjoyed a quiet weekend away.

Cabin was clean in all areas. In a quiet spot. Host was responsive to all questions. Plan on visiting again.

Everything was clean. Location was spot on. Accommodations were nice, rooms were spacious and beds were comfortable.

Second time for us here and we loved it as much as the first time! Everything is clean and cozy, well stocked in the kitchen, laundry and bathrooms. Beds were nice and comfy too. The property was quiet and relaxing and we enjoyed a little snow too. We’ll definitely be back for another stay soon!

We stayed here to celebrate our first anniversary, and it was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The cabin is gorgeous—cozy, beautifully decorated, and incredibly comfortable. The fireplace created such a warm, romantic atmosphere, and the fully outfitted kitchen had everything we needed and more.The hot tub was a highlight of our stay. Relaxing in it while listening to the peaceful sound of the creek behind the cabin was magical—especially at night and again in the morning with coffee in hand. It was truly one of those moments you wish you could pause.We were genuinely sad to leave this morning. This place exceeded every expectation, and we will definitely be back—my wife has already declared it our future annual anniversary spot!10/10—highly recommend.

Had such a wonderful time here in Deep Gap! Cabin was clean and inviting and the host was very helpful with questions. The cabin sat on a creek which was great for our kids to explore or a nice morning cup of tea. Cabin included everything you needed to feel right at home. Would highly recommend for a quiet get away or adventurous retreat. Only recommendation is save codes and instructions in pictures prior to arrival because lack of cellphone service in mountains but wifi was great upon arrival.

This cabin was awesome! From the location to cleanliness to being stocked with everything you need. It's right on the stream and the view is beautiful! The cabin, itself, was great...beds are comfortable and the kitchen is stocked with anything you need. Owner communication was great, as well. Will definitely book this cabin again!

We loved this cabin. We traveled with our 1 yr old lab who was in heaven running and playing on the property. The cabin itself is situated in such a perfect spot and is so well equipped with everything you might need in the kitchen if you like to cook. The fireplace was amazing and there was even dog bowls and poop bags provided, so welcoming for a pet. We will absolutely return! If you are looking for a serene peaceful place this is it. The only thing we didn't use was the hot tub because we couldn't get it to heat up (could have been user error). Thank you for hosting us, it was great!

Nice stream

The log cabin was so beautiful! It was decorated perfectly for a mountain getaway. And what a perfect setting! We had everything we needed for our stay. The beds were comfortable, the on demand hot water was very special, the hot tub was a great luxury and the place was ultra clean when we arrived. The Host was super responsive and answered ever inquiry almost immediately. We will be back for sure! A five star VRBO for sure!!!

Everything was great. Only complaint is the beds are not good quality. Older with squeaky springs. Other than that, the place was great!

The cabin was lovely to quote my 2 yr old. Quiet, beautiful river behind, and a great deck and hot tub to enjoy it from. Also super clean. Check in and out was easy, though we never found clear instructions for checkout. Perhaps we missed it. Also, know that you will drive 15 minutes or so to the dump to deposit your trash, or pay 10 per bag.

We had a wonderful time. The cabin was clean, and comfortable. Plenty of privacy for a much needed time away from work and home. Especially liked sitting on the deck listening to the little stream, and nature. Hope to go back again in the future.

Cabin was very clean and well supplied with all the necessities for an enjoyable stay. We loved the stream behind the cabin and spent many hours exploring and just floating in the water. The location was near many of the activities we were looking for such as mountain climbing and river tubing. Our last night provided clear skies and we spent hours laying on a blanket and star gazing. We had a great week and really enjoyed our stay.

Communication was quick and easy. Property was fantastic location enjoyed our time here will rent again.

We had a wonderful weekend stay! The cabin was very clean upon arrival and we really enjoyed being so close to the stream. It was very peaceful and quiet. The owner was also very helpful in answering questions we had ahead of our arrival. We hope to be able to visit again.

I got there ahead of everyone else and it was beautiful. The stream behind the house was so super cute. Everyone we ran into was very friendly. I would definitely do it again.

Wonderful split cabin layout for a family with plenty of area outside for our dog to run and play. Extremely clean inside and all around the property outside. This is probably the nicest cabin we've stayed in. Looks brand new, very clean, tastefully decorated and had everything one would need with a couple small exceptions. Although we didn't catch anything we had fun fishing in the stream. The firepit next to the stream is great and easy to get firewood with a phone call. The hottub was not working for our first couple nights but the owner made sure it was fixed quickly and we got to use it our last night. He also was very apologetic and oftered to make other arrangements which we were very grateful for. Expect to get dirt/sand everywhere. I recommend bringing rubber boots and extra shoes. The shower is slippery so a handrail would be nice but you can bring your own rubber mat if you are unsteady. Also some hangers or hooks to hang coats and jackets would be nice. They provide comfy chairs for sitting around the campfire too. Typical windy mountain roads but not terrible. We all absolutely loved our stay there! Can't wait to come back sometime!

We were in town for a wedding and this was such a pleasant surprise! We loved the beautiful creek! The sound of the water was so peaceful! The cabin was perfect for our family! Very nicely appointed with everything we needed. We would definitely stay again!

The information shared on the site was 100% accurate. The cabin is awesome and the peacefulness of the area was fantastic! Unfortunately we needed to leave a day early because of hurricane Helene, but we will definitely go back again. It was exactly what my husband and our dog, Rusty, was looking to find for a relaxing vacation.
