Beautiful property, views awsome, sunrises and sunsets breath taking, peaceful. Just what we needed. Bathroom small, AC/heat kicks on and off often, bothersome.
Highly recommend
This is an absolutely beautiful property. The views are amazing and peaceful. The cabin was clean and comfortable with just about everything you need available. If you like to bass fish, bring your heavy gear - there are some giants in this lake! Jonelle was an amazing host and everything was as she stated. Any question was quickly answered. We can't wait to return!!!
This is our third time to stay at the lake view cabin . We love the cabin lake and location .
It was great!
Beautiful sunset
This is the 2nd time we have visited this property with our kiddos and it is definitely not the last. It’s nice to just get away and enjoy beautiful sunrises and peace & quiet. And as usual Jonele was amazing!
Cozy house and great fishing. We love the sunsets!
Great location, fun fishing - going back when there is not a 3 mph wind.
My husband and I have been staying at VRBOs for years, and I have to say this one is my favorite. We wanted to get away to the country for peace, and this place didn't disappoint. Jonell had fresh flowers, a note, and champagne waiting for us when we arrived. The house is adorable and so homey. It is clean and smells so good. I love that there are so many windows that you can see the entire lake from anywhere in the house. We enjoyed sitting around the fire pit and watching the sunset. We went into Canton Friday for lunch and ate at Oscars Mexican Food. The queso is the best I have ever had, and I have had tons of queso. The enchiladas, rice, and beans were terrific as well. We went through Ben Wheeler and loved the live music venues, boutiques, and shops. I would love to return when it is warmer and spend the day. Overall I 100% give this place five stars, and we will definitely go back. We didn't want to leave. This place is a little piece of Heaven!
It more than exceeded our expectations! Quiet, cozy, and beautiful! I will definitely be a repeat renter!
First off the description and reviews do not do this wonderful place justice. From the first steps into the gate we knew we were in for something magical. We were greeted by hundreds of dragonflies that dance about the beautifully landscaped shaded St Augustine blanketed yard. Enjoyed the hammock and the privacy and seclusion of the private lake with sunsets over the calm water that are a slice of heaven. It was the perfect get away!! Can’t wait to go back!!
Cute, comfortable, homey, and so very quiet. Everything you could possibly need to escape from hustle and bustle of life but close enough to a town to be entertained and experience Canton Trade Days. The dock, water, fishing, boating, and the ability to hear frogs and other animals at night while you watch the sunset over the water was the best. Jonell has thought of everything and is a wonderful hostess.
The cabin was very cozy and had some great views. Unfortunately due to a rain storm, we weren’t able to enjoy all the things outdoors, but we still had a good time. I was able to take a peaceful nap in the hammock before it poured rain. The land is beautiful.
The pictures really do not do justice for this tranquil, peaceful location. The cabin was so nice and the surroundings were perfect. Everything we needed was at the cabin, and it was in a great location to check out Ben Wheeler, the Green Goat winery, and even a short hike at Purvis State Park. Highly recommend the cabin and the wonderful hostess!!
This was our second time to stay at Lakeside cabin. We love this place. Owner is super easy to contact, cabin is very clean, cozy and comfortable. Fishing is absolutely fantastic. Quiet serene country beauty. So peaceful too. We will be back for sure.
