Stayed Dec 30, 2025What a great getaway!! This was the perfect size for our party of 3 and dog. Cozy and well equipped. There were even some Christmas decorations which made it feel more homey :) We cooked every day and the kitchen had everything we needed. It was clean and beds were comfy! Upon arrival it had snowed and the pipes were frozen. Kim, the host, was promptly responsive and talked us through unfreezing. Would absolutely come back!! Thank you Kim!

Stayed Jun 30, 2024Charming and cozy is an accurate description of this cabin. It is well appointed and comfortable. The owner has paid great attention to detail, from the small amenities she provides for guests to the comfortable furniture, relaxing deck and guides for things to do in the area. We would definitely stay here again.

Stayed May 10, 2024The location was great and many amenities in the neighborhood. We enjoyed the walking trails especially around the lake . We had everything we needed in the Cabin. We enjoyed sitting out on the deck Saturday afternoon to enjoy a glass of wine. We would stay here again.

Stayed Dec 28, 2022This is a lovely little nook nestled in a quiet neighborhood that is located on the Linville Hwy. I found the location to be perfect, close to Newland for minor shopping and restaurants and close enough to Banner Elk, grandfather mountain, and Boone to do some touristing excursions. My family of 4 were comfortable and everything was just as expected. Easy access, warm and inviting living areas, quiet and peaceful. Truly a wonderful vacation! Happy New Year 2023

Stayed Aug 22, 2021Perfect location for our plans. Enjoyed the Linville Winery and several hiking adventures to area waterfalls. Loved the house’s back porch. It was perfect for morning coffee and afternoon cocktails.
