Towering pine trees surround Bear Valley Village, home to your 1,300-square-foot cabin. If you’re visiting in the wintertime, strap on the snowshoes and skis, or opt for the available snowmobile service to access this secluded, snowy abode!

Warm up after a day on the slopes by tossing a log into the wood-burning fireplace! The chef in your crew will have no problem whipping up an après-ski snack in the fully equipped kitchen, which you can enjoy with a movie on the flat-screen TV in the open-concept living space.

Summertime guests can fire up the charcoal grill for some late-night burgers and beers beneath a blanket of stars! Don't forget to throw a load into the in-unit laundry machines so you can grab your ski gear and hit the mountain first thing in the morning!

This secluded mountain retreat resides just a short Quarter-mile walk from the heart of Bear Valley Village, where you'll find a general store, lodge, snowmobile rentals, and world-class trails for cross-country skiing!

Cruise along snowmobile trails leading right up to your door, or head over to Skyline Bear Valley Mountain Resort for some adrenaline-pumping downhill skiing only 5 miles away.

Summertime visitors will enjoy easy access to an abundance of Alpine County's outdoor activities including hiking, swimming, mountain biking, bouldering, and more!

Locals recommend half-day hikes such as Bloods Ridge and Inspiration Point, which are only a few minutes' drive away! Make the 4-mile trek to Lake Alpine for a leisurely day of kayaking or boating on a rented watercraft.

I like the kitchen, everything you need is there. Good location, we were there in summer, quiet and peaceful.

Cute small cabin best for a couple or a family with kids staying in the loft. Well maintained but a bit of a throwback to the 70s. But comfy king bed on main floor and decent sofas. Needs brighter lighting in the master, very dim. Plastic outdoor table on the deck isn’t fancy but is a nice place to catch some sun. Parking is on dirt in front of cabin but at least in summer was easy to get in and out of place. The stairway railing needs help. Easy to get splinters from it. Host was responsive and flexible with check out which was most appreciated. Would stay there again.

This was a warm and comfortable house with plenty of room and had almost everything we needed to cook. It was in a beautiful area not too far from the village.

Booking this cabin was easy. The cabin was perfect in size, location, very well maintained and well equipt with everything you need for a winter getaway! Kids and adults had fun playing in the snow and building a snowman with the snow right outside the cabin, or just enjoying the amenities, wifi, cable, boardgames, etc. Plus the general store is nearby for any extra needs of food/snacks/ and winter gear. Would highly recommend and can't wait to spend another winter vacation here as well as a summer stay!
