The cabin is well appointed, adorable, very clean and has beautiful views. We stayed 2 nights and rafted the Ocoee. The hot tub was wonderful after a day of Class 4 Rapids, and the sunset was spectacular. I would definitely stay here again.

Oh my, what a wonderful, peaceful cabin sitting in the mountains. The view was spectacular from the large deck looking across the valley and tree tops to the mountains in the distance. There is a comfy sitting and swinging area on the screened-in porch and the relaxing hot tub with the same view. The kitchen is modern, with up-to-date appliances. It was warm so we did not use the gas fireplace. There is a large TV in the front room and TV's in both bedrooms. Comfy beds and plenty of drawer space! The bathroom is spacious with a good size shower, full-size washer and dryer. Enjoy the mornings on the front porch as the sun rises above the mountain. Keep your eyes open for deer and turkeys, and bears (although we did not see any bears!) The park down the road is right on the river. Local musicians gather there on Thursday evenings to play music for the town folk. Take a picnic supper if you're hungry! Lots of hiking trails and waterfalls within an hour or so drive. We hiked the trail to Benton Falls and Preacher Rock. We climbed and descended 600 stairs (or you can drive) up to see Amicalola Falls, third tallest waterfall east of the Mississippi River. Visit Fields of the Woods to see the Ten Commandment on the side of the mountain near Murphy TN. see their website). Check out the diving bell in Dahlonega Georgia, one of the first gold rushes in the country! Lots of towns, food, antiques, river tubing and rafting. Be sure to check out Groovy Zoo Yard Art on Route 60 on the way to Blue Ridge. McCaysville GA and Copperhill TN share the state line border. Shops, restaurants, breweries, antiques abound. Local IGA for your grocery needs. Just be prepared, lots of places closed Monday thru Wednesday after a busy weekend. Not to fret. Good reason to take it easy and enjoy the cabin! Can't wait to return!
