Ashford, Washington
Completely remodeled from head to bottom, this adorable cabin is perfect to come home to after a day of hiking around Mt Rainier. Furnished with comfort in mind.
The beautiful, tree filled grounds include a fire pit, BBQ area, picnic table and 6 person hot tub. Please note that during fire season, the fire pit is not to be used.
Just five miles from the Nisqually Entrance, the only entrance that is open year round, of Mount Rainier. One could spend a month and hike every day and not even make a dent in all of the beautiful trails surrounding Ashford.
The cabin is centrally located to the galleries and restaurants in town.
The hot tub is private and open air to gaze at the stars. During the infamous rain that Washington is known for, there is a umbrella to cover you. Absolutely no glass or food is allowed in the hot tub area.
We really enjoyed our stay. The home was well equipped with everything we needed. Weather was not so great so we didn't really use the outdoor amenities but it was a great outdoor area.
Super cute cabin with modern but cozy styling. Hot tub was so nice and private and plenty of amenities. Sweet hostess who was readily responsive.
What a cute little cabin! This house was perfect for our stay at Mt. Rainier. It’s close to the park entrance, there are several close restaurants, and the house was well stocked with everything we needed. Plus the outdoor area was great for playing games and enjoying the beautiful weather. The house was exactly as described!
The house was perfect for our family. It was generously stocked with random cooking and cleaning supplies. Super clean and comfortable. The setting was picturesque. Just minutes away from the park entrance. Highly recommend the nearby Rainier base camp restaurant just down the road.
This small cabin was perfect. It’s cozy and unique, and it has all the essential amenities and more for and enjoyable stay. It’s perfectly situated halfway between downtown Ashford and the park entrance. The host was responsive and accommodating. Overall, the experience was all I could ask for.
Girlfriend and I and 2 dogs had such a nice stay. Host was very nice and responsive, property was clean and beautiful, and the hot tub was private and relaxing. Would love to stay again!
This is one of the best VRBO experiences we have ever had. The property was exactly as listed. It was in a great location just minutes from the park entrance. It was very well stocked with very kitchen item we wanted. Many board games. The hot tub was clean and combined with the fire pit made this a beautiful little oasis. The owner communicated everything well and texted us during the stay to check in and make sure everything was going ok. We will definitely come back in the summer.
It was a very short stay, just one night visiting family. The cabin was very clean and well stocked. We would like to come back when we have more time. I grew up less than a mile from the cabin and I love the Ashford area
Excellent attention to detail and very homey. We are already planning our next visit!
This has been one of my favorite little cabins! When you pull up you feel right at home. Great porch, fire pit and private jacuzzi outside, tucked just behind the cabin. The cabin itself has a great layout, great kitchen, and washer and dryer were a nice feature if you have a longer stay. Thank you Jacqulyn for being a great host!
The property and home were super clean, easy to use, well-supplied with everything we needed, and just quiet and lovely. We sat around the campfire, played cornhole, used the hot tub, played games at the kitchen table, and enjoyed a gorgeous sunset through the trees from the front porch. The house itself is quite small and can require some strategic movement for cooking and meals, but even still, the use of space is efficient and we were able to sleep six quite nicely. There is a sleeping loft up a spiral staircase, which worked well for the teens but would not for someone with mobility issues. The other four sleep spaces are downstairs and worked well for the older/less mobile adults. The host was very prompt and helpful in communications, the restaurant recommendations were superb, and the clean-up/check-out process was the easiest and most gracious we've ever come across. If we'd thought of it, we would have brought a mat and sleeping bag so the two teens wouldn't have to share a bed! But that's on us. :) Thank you for the lovely stay!
Very nice place to stay. Perfect size and great location to Mt Rainer. Wish we had more than 1 day/night to stay.
