The Game Room has its own separate keypad entry code and features cozy lounge seating, fun lighting & a unique hangout atmosphere. Please note: There is no AC, but we do provide a portable fan upstairs for airflow & comfort. There are wall heaters both upstairs and downstairs.

The property is located in a peaceful neighborhood and backs up to a wooded creek area creating a relaxing mountain atmosphere.

Guest Access & Parking

Guests will have access to the entire cabin, courtyard patio, outdoor amenities & detached Game Room during their stay.

The detached Game Room has its own separate keypad entry code which will be provided prior to arrival.

Guests also have access to the nearby community lake, park & playground.

Check-in instructions, address, Wi-Fi password & smart lock codes will be sent 72hrs prior to arrival.

Check-out instructions will be sent the evening before departure.

⚠️ Important Information

Periodic power and internet outages can occasionally occur in this mountain area.

The property is equipped with a powerful Generac backup generator that automatically turns on/off during outages and powers the cabin, Game Room, sauna, hot tub & essential systems.

Additional emergency items include:

Flashlight plugged into entryway wall near stairs
Two small lanterns located in family room

Refunds are not provided for outages outside of our control.

Cell phone service can be spotty in the area, although Verizon generally works best. We recommend enabling Wi-Fi calling during your stay.

Please note there is no landline phone at the property.

We recommend purchasing groceries & supplies before arrival, as the nearest grocery store in Ashford mainly carries basic supplies, beer & wine. Ashford also offers a few restaurants, a gas station & local shops.

Guests must provide their own firewood, kindling & fire starter for the outdoor firepit. Firewood can often be purchased locally in Ashford at the General Store, the firewood vending machine outside Jacob’s Barber, or roadside wood bundle stands along the highway.

Please note: no axe is provided at the property.

Guests are responsible for checking current burn bans or fire restrictions during their stay.

Pet Rules:

A maximum of 1 dog is allowed.
Dogs must weigh under 50 pounds and be fully housebroken.
Sorry, no cats or other animals are allowed in the home.
Dogs are not permitted to lay on the furniture or bedding.
Dogs are not allowed on the carpet (stairs or upstairs).
Guest must provide crate and/or kennel.
Dog must be secured in a crate/kennel if left alone at any point.
Guest must pick up & dispose of dog waste in securely tied bags.
Dogs must be on leash when outside.
Guests will be responsible for any damage caused by their dog.
There is a pet fee. Please include a pet in your reservation so the fee will automatically be charged.


House Rules:

No events, parties or large gatherings.
No smoking or vaping of any kind in the cabin.
Quiet hours 10PM - 8AM.
Must be at least 21 years old to book.


Check Out Procedures:

✔ Wash/Rinse dishes and leave in the dish drying rack.
✔ Place used towels in bathroom tub/shower.
✔ Gather trash and put in outside trash can.
✔ Leave all bedding on beds.
✔ Lock windows and doors.
✔ Turn off all lights & propane tanks.
✔ Leave heat at 68 degrees.
