We had such a great stay at this cabin in Hico! The cabin was spotless, cozy, and the perfect place to relax after hiking and exploring the New River Gorge area. We especially loved the hot tub and peaceful setting. The kitchen was well stocked, the beds were comfortable, and communication with the host was excellent from start to finish.The location was perfect — close enough to trails, rafting, and Fayetteville, but still quiet and secluded enough to truly unwind. You can tell the owners put a lot of care into the little details that make guests feel welcome.We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing West Virginia mountain getaway!

Perfect for our little reunion. The space was clean, and had everything we needed and more. The hot tub was the perfect way to end the day after long hikes at the Gorge. Highly recommend!!

Unfortunately we were not able to complete our stay. The host was great in communicating with us regarding a power outage that came out of nowhere. They gave us options regarding our stay including a complete refund. Grateful that they made what could have been a horrible situation work out for us. Thank you again.

The cabin was exactly what we were looking for on a family trip to New River Gorge. Location was very convenient and felt relatively private. The hot tub was a pleasant way to end the day after lots of hiking.Owner communication was clear and detailed.I would happily stay here again in I was back in the area.

LOVED this cabin! I don’t think we have ever stayed in a more cozy cabin! Incredibly clean and well maintained, we had everything we needed. (And we really appreciated the shovel left when we unexpectedly got six inches of snow during our spring break trip)! The fireplace was our favorite along with the smart tv so we could snuggle in and watch YouTubeTV when it snowed. The hot tub looked great, but with the weather we didn’t get to enjoy it even though we wanted to. The bed was very comfy, the mattress and bedding were perfect! We also appreciated the darkening curtains! We travel a lot and this was one of our favorite places to stay! The proximity to New River Gorge was ideal! (Definitely try the Secret Society Sandwich Shop if you’re in town!) The host’s communication and our pre-arrival messages were very helpful! Thank you so much for making our mountain vacation very special! If we are in the area again, we will definitely stay here (and may come back, just for the cabin!)

Hot tub was really unlevel board coming out of hot tub door Wes not nailed down stuck up about 2 inches so there was stun toes and had to close door ice machine did not work mice keep us awake at night other then that it was a good place

The push button door lock did not work correctly. Had to call to have someone come out. The host came out and opened the door with ease. Because he knew to put pressure on the door and that’s what made the lock work. That was the theme of our stay, lot of things worked about half the way they should. Coffee pot leaked, toilet ran and ran plugs in the kitchen didn’t work outdoor heat pump very loud when running. General maintenance was very poor.

The proximity to local attractions, covered and clean hot tub, and lovely porch stood out.

The host was amazing! We loved the cabin and the area it was in. If I was going to suggest anything - it would be more lighting in the area. Other than that we really enjoyed our stay!

The place was very cozy, nice and close to the park and all of the great trails. I enjoyed how quiet it was besides some occasional road noise, also felt very secluded.

The cabin was absolutely beautiful! The location is excellent- can easily get to all points of interest in & surrounding this area! Last but not Least, you will never find a more responsive host than Paul! If there are rankings for hosts- He would be ranked Super host!

My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary/birthday trip, we also brought our two dogs. Overall, had a wonderful experience! The cabin was beautiful and very well maintained. The only things I would want others to be made aware of was that it is somewhat close to a main road, so the road noise during the day can be a little loud. At night it quiets down a bit, but if you’re wanting something very secluded and private, this might not be it. Also, the cabins are a bit close together, so again, if you’re looking for being really secluded/private, this may not be it for you. Otherwise, it was a beautiful cabin with your own private hot tub, big front porch with a nice porch swing and rocking chair, fire pit, and grills. The inside is a beautiful log cabin with very cozy ambiance and a fireplace. Communication with the owner was great. Very responsive and helpful, provided directions for the cabin and even provided good suggestions for things to do / places to eat. Took some of their suggestions and it was super helpful! They even offered us early check in/check out with no additional charge (I didn’t even have to ask), which I feel is rare to find and was honestly a huge bonus for us. We were able to get into the cabin early which was super helpful for us instead of having to drive around waiting for check in. Wish more Air B&B’s would do this, so thank you for offering this! Gave me an immediate positive experience! Overall, my husband, myself and our dogs loved the cabin!

2 couples stayed here for a long weekend on our first trip to NRG NP. This rustic cabin was clean and comfortable. Proximity to our activities was great (10 min or less). I have a short list of some small inexpensive upgrades that would improve the experience and will share that with the owner. He himself was traveling during our stay and thus was not quick to respond to our calls or texts. My only less than positive comments are that although the cabin is surrounded by woods, it sits next to a very busy road so there was a lot of noise from passing cars throughout the day while sitting outside however, it did not disrupt our sleep. Also, the internet service was subpar due to a disruption in the process changing from cellular service to satellite. This problem should be fixed in the near future but if you plan to watch TV or use your laptop or phone to be on the internet, I suggest you check with the owner first to confirm this upgrade has been completed and is fully functional. The owner did refund us for 1-night’s stay due to this inconvenience. Love the area and will definitely be back.

Cabin was everything that was advertised. Five minutes from town and good restaurants. Peace and quiet while you’re sleeping would definitely stay again.

Our stay at your cabin was an amazing experience. It was beautiful and well taken care of and we also loved the fact that it was pet friendly and we were able to bring our dog Olivia with us . We didn't have to worry about her while we enjoyed a life time vacation. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts Michelle and Family

Great place for peace and quiet! A little noise from highway, but didn’t take away from are stay. Hot tub was my go to at night after a long day of Hiking! Would stay there again without question!

Great cabin. Enjoyed our visit to New River Gorge National Park.

Nice cabin with all the things you need including charcoal and gas grills, plus hot tub. Close to the National Park, state parks, and fun activities. Host provided excellent recommendations for restaurants, directs, as well as activities including fishing guides.

This cabin was adorable, clean and comfortable. Even the hot tub was immaculate. There were a couple of spiderwebs in the hot tub area, but a quick swipe and it was all good. The furniture was comfortable, as well as the bed. We met the caretaker who was very friendly. We had a very nice stay and highly recommend it! If we are back in the area, we will definitely book again.
