Mountain Views & Game Room|Hot Tub & Autumn Colors

VRBO host was excellent;Very responsive. Though the layout of the cabin was perfect and the views and the deck, itself, were awesome, the windows were filthy (I mean really dirty) which made it difficult to look out through them and appreciate the beauty. There were no screens on most of the windows which was kind of a bummer as we so love sleeping with windows open. The windows that did have screens were FULL of dead bugs and dirt. Floors in kitchen were sticky and I had to clean up gooey stuff stuck on kitchen floor. No glass glassware in kitchen and no glass plates. I lightbulb above stove. Downstairs surfaces (ie. Tables and pool table) were unclean). Also, very short on supplies … there were no dish washing clothes or sponges ( to clean up after ourselves) or potholders on hand. The cabin was short on many necessary supplies/dishware.VRBO responded quickly to our request for these and somebody did drop a couple of things by. Such a beautiful place… but kind of unfortunate that supplies (all supplies) were so limited and it felt unclean. We did have a great time, overall, though in the Smokey mountains. Beautiful spot/location!

The property is amazing! The view was just breathtaking. The cabin itself is really nice, and it’s a great place for people who want a private getaway.There were very small details that could’ve been more tended to but nothing major at all. If you were to contact the host, everything would’ve been handled as soon as possible! The communication they provided is just excellent, and they’re extremely helpful.

I have never written a bad review in all my years of vacationing, but there were significant problems with this stay. Our instructions said to use back door & put in the code. Not correct. At 11:30 at night, we can’t get in the back & have to call Staycating, which answers 24 hrs all the time. We finally tried the front & got in. We booked this home for the outdoor jacuzzi, pool table & dart board for our grandson. All but 1 pool cue was broken/warped, all the darts broken & 2nd day when we tried the outdoor jacuzzi, water was cold & it wasn’t working at all! The wood blind on the door that went to the back porch was broken. There were two pots that were very dirty in the cabinet. Had to wash before using. The write up says the owner provides several products like shampoo, conditioner & more but when we got there, they were just samples. Miscommunication again. We opened the microwave, & the glass turntable was missing. Under the sofa & both beds, there were lots of dust balls & it was obvious that the cleaner had not swept under things in a long time. The only kitchen cleaning items to wash dishes were some Brillo pads and a very overused scrub brush, no sponges or washing type cloths. I think I called Staycating at least 12 times. They DID send a knowledgeable helper named Allen who brought a new dart board, pool sticks and fixed the jacuzzi. He had to order a new blind and a microwave turntable. But who wants problems? More maintenance checks between guests needed.

We had a wonderful stay. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The mountain views were beautiful, especially with the spring colors. The hot tub was a great way to relax after the day. The host was responsive and helpful. Overall, a very enjoyable and peaceful experience.

The property was as beautiful as the listing. The cabin was homey and the amenties offered were great...had everything you would need if wanted to cook your meals.

Absolutely beautiful cabin with stellar views. Couldn’t have asked for better customer service. They were so quick and kind to answer any questions. Hope to return again soon!

Log cabins are great. The view was great ... but ... Upon arrival we spent 3 hours cleaning (ceiling fans; lamps, furniture, heat/air returns all dusty; some heavy dust). Cobwebs in bathrooms; hair from someone (previous renter?) on bed sheets. Grill was useless (pretty much rusted out and had a broken knob). Pool table had a broken pocket and looked like it has not been well taken care of. There were no tips for the darts for use of the dartboard. The outdoor hot tub had dirt on its bottom. The jacuzzi tub in the upstairs bathroom didn't work - button for start of was non-functional. Stove top was nasty - all burner pans had some food residue. To me it looks like all that was done to prep for us was to leave out towels and wash cloths. I did contact the owner. I have photos (and need to send to them); I also took a video as we were leaving to show the condition we left it in. The internet worked ok. The TV's worked ok. If all the amenities were as advertised and the house clean this would have been a great place.

Lovely place to stay! Privacy and beautiful views!

My husband and I stayed for 7 days. We went to dinner with family/friends 3 of the nights and relaxed at the cabin the rest of the time. We agreed that we have never felt so relaxed after a vacation. The views were beautiful, the fireplaces were wonderful, and we felt at home in the cabin. Can’t wait to go back when return.

We had a great trip, the only issue we had during our stay is the hot tub didn’t heat up as hot as we would have wanted
