Nice and affordable
Loved the area and the cabin. Only thing missing was wifi but even that was a welcome relief from phone ringing constantly. Best vacation I have had in years! We will be back.
We enjoy the quiet The entire cabin was awesome!!!
Excellent choice of place to spend our thanksgiving break. Good location with all sorts of options. Thanks!!!
This cabin is located just outside of Mountain View only a 5 min drive. It is somewhat secluded with plenty of privacy. The two bedrooms each with a queen size bed are small, but worked for me, however, only one of the bedrooms had a closet for our use. The other bedroom had a closet, but was used for supplies and was therefore locked. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. The wraparound deck was a plus. The TV worked great however, it was quite small. We could not get the fireplace to work but luckily it wasn’t too cool that we needed it during the day. But it would’ve been nice to have in the evening. The bathroom was a nice size with two plush robes and plenty of towels. The bathtub was a little tricky as it was easy to slip on the tub basin while taking a shower because it was meant to be a whirlpool tub. We never used the tub, so I’m not sure if it worked. But again I would use care if you were strictly going to use it as a shower. There’s plenty of parking for two cars. The driveway is not paved so a lower profile car might have issues if it’s been raining. But in order to have some seclusion, it was well worth it. The host was wonderful and answered all my questions. I love my stay there and will definitely book this cabin again in the future if I’m ever in the area.
Rough entrance and exit, small parking area, I question elder suitable because of having to go down a gravel incline to reach the entrance. More hand rails would have been more helpful around commode and shower. Maybe it was just me but I could not get electric fireplace to start. However, it was a quaint and comfortable place to spend a couple of days.
Nice remote location. Was clean but furniture was a bit uncomfortable, but us being on the older side of life could have had some to do with that. Enjoyed the closeness to town.
Clean, great location, definitely stay again. No Wi-Fi, but good for me.
The place was pretty perfect. Lived everything about it
We absolutely loved this spot; such a gorgeous area. If you are looking for a place to get away and disconnect this is the place for it, the area is very quite and the views leave your mind wanting to explore more. The patio is where we spent majority of the time when we were on the property. A candle or two is helpful if you are sensitive to musty smells. Do not skip out on Blanchard Springs area, perfect area for a day in the water!
It’s tucked away in the woods, with a beautiful porch for sitting outside. The only weird thing was the thick plastic mattress cover that makes noise every time you move. All the comforts of home, not far from fun, and food, makes this a good place to go.
Great
Perfect Cabin just the right size to be Comfy and Cozy and location was perfect. So Loved the deck just the right size. We definitely give this one a A+++. Perfect for a get away from the city or extended vacation
Very nice property. Peaceful with great location.
What a lovely cabin in the woods. We enjoyed our stay. The east bedroom bed is way too squeaky for good rest. The wooden towel rack in the bathroom is broken on the left side. Screws come right out of the wall. The deck is very narrow ce to sit on and enjoy nature.
Awesome place. Quiet getaway.
Clean, quiet, in the woods, but close enough to enjoy nearby activities.
Cabin was great. Did not enjoy hammock, we were too old for that. Would have liked the swing shown in picture. Parking was a nightmare.
Lovely cabin, enjoyed our stay. Well stocked and beds very comfortable. Nice big tub, but couldn’t get jacuzzi to work and shower head was terrible ? (no pressure and looks broke) cabin did have a musty smell, but didn’t bother us. One negative was no wifi, which wasn’t good because they send you check out info to your phone, which you can’t access because there is no internet! May want to print out those check out list and instructions and place in binder inside cabin! Overall, nice stay ☺️
We got to get away on our 5year anniversary with no kids and have a time with distraction to gain refocus in our lives. Which the Lord greatly gave us. It was a good place for us two. Really enjoyed the back porch which we grilled and ate at. I’m actually glad there was no WiFi because we really didn’t need distractions. Most comfortable bed iv ever sleep on, had some dog hair but that to be expected if your a animal friendly cabin. Over all good place high recommend.
Enjoyed an extra long weekend with friends. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed plus. Will definitely be back, hopefully it will be available.
Excellent! Cabin is everything it says it is. Quiet, serene location.
Very clean and cozy. Parking was very limited space and was difficult to turn our SUV around to get out of drive. Otherwise, everything was good.
Cabin was very clean and really cute. Setting was in a beautiful area, within a short drive to Mountain View for all this quant little town--filled with music--has offer.
