Mountain view cabin minutes from the Nolichucky

Three bedrooms and two baths. Two rooms have a queen each, and the third has a queen-over-queen bunk — two full-size queens stacked, not the narrow twins you're picturing. That's four queen beds and eight people sleeping in a real bed. Nobody draws the couch.

The kitchen is set up for real cooking, not just coffee and cereal. Two smart TVs for a slow night in.

The porch wraps the house. Most folks end up out there and stay out there.

The whole place is yours exceptthe garage. No shared spaces, nobody upstairs, nobody knocking.

Guests may communicate with us via text or the booking channel. There will be a slower response time with phone calls. If there is an emergency affecting a person's safety guests should call 911 and contact us once everyone is safe.

The valley here is called The Valley Beautiful, and nobody named it that by accident. You're in a quiet residential pocket just outside downtown Erwin — private, but close enough that a grocery run or dinner out is a short drive.

Unicoi County is rafting, hiking, and mountains. The Appalachian Trail crosses the Nolichucky right here, so in spring you'll see thru-hikers coming through town.

Driveway parking for two or three cars. The garage isn't accessible to guests. Uber and Lyft do run out here, but not quickly. You'll want a car.

There are several stairs up to the main level. One bedroom and bath sit on the lower level where you park, with its own entrance. Kitchen, living room, and the other two bedrooms are upstairs. Worth knowing if anybody in your group has trouble with steps.

Check-in is self check-in. Your code and instructions land exactly 24 hours before arrival — so a 4pm Friday check-in means instructions at 4pm Thursday.

The cleaning fee covers sheets, bath towels, hand towels, washcloths, makeup cloths, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, kitchen towels, hand soap, dish detergent, dishwasher pods, trash bags, toilet paper, paper towels, tissues, and laundry detergent. Cleaners leave a starter supply — enough to get you going, not enough for a two-week stay, and we don't restock mid-visit.
