Find your own “Mountain Vibe” when you stay at this beautiful log vacation home looking out over the Great Smoky Mountains. This home has 3 bedrooms, and 3 full baths, and offers quiet mountain relaxation. Although you get the peace and serenity of country living, with Mountain Vibes' 3500-foot elevation, you are only 5 miles from I 40 and 5 minutes from Maggie Valley. Soak in the natural beauty and wildlife from one of two spacious decks while you wait for the steaks to cook on the charcoal grill. Both the upper and lower decks lead to the large rock patio complete with fire pit that overlooks the full-size yard below, perfect for nights of great conversation and camaraderie under the stars. Or sit in the brand new four-person hot tub to relive the adventures of the day.

Inside you will find the cathedral ceiling in the open great room complete with wood burning stone fireplace and a view to the loft. Large windows in the main living area offer a fabulous view of the mountains. The fully equipped kitchen with Keurig coffeemaker includes an open area with breakfast bar and dining table. You can also curl up on the big comfy sofa in front of the fireplace. Also on the main level is a master queen bedroom, master bathroom, and laundry room.

The upstairs level boasts a large open loft with a pullout queen sofa bed. Also, upstairs you will find a second queen bedroom and full bathroom. Downstairs below the main level is a family room and additional bedroom with two double beds and full bath, making this a full bath on each floor. This beautiful home comes equipped with central heat and A/C, Wi-Fi, 2 Smart TVs with 5 cable hookups on all three floors.

From the highway take two well-paved roads up to the 1/2-mile gravel road with easy access and moderate climb. We do experience seasonal inclement weather in this region. All-wheel drive or 4-wheel drive and/or snow tire chains would be required in winter weather events.

Please note this is a dog friendly property. It is the guest's responsibility to contact the property manager at Maggie Mountain Vacations as there is an additional non-refundable per pet fee, not included in the base rent. There are restrictions to weight and number of dogs allowed. Unauthorized pets on property will incur a $300 per pet penalty. No cats or other types of pets allowed. Go outside and visit our deer around 8-9am or 4-5 pm. We have a salt block just beyond the fence!

Only a few minutes’ drive to the heart of Maggie Valley, Cataloochee Ski Area (known for being one of the first ski resorts in the US to open each year), Tube World (snow tubing), Wheels Through Time (a historic motorcycle museum featured on the History Channel’s “American Pickers”), horseback riding and golfing. In about 25 minutes, you could be in downtown Waynesville at Ingles and Publix grocery stores, Walmart or head to Main Street and enjoy additional shopping, dining, and sightseeing. Don’t forget nearby Lake Junaluska has fishing, canoeing and a beautiful walking path surrounding the lake.

This home is less than a 30-minute drive to the Blue Ridge Parkway, Great Smoky Mountains National Park, and Harrah’s Cherokee Casino (even if you do not gamble, Harrah’s has some of the best restaurants around), Pisgah National Forest, several golf courses, and just west of Cherokee is Bryson City (home of the Great Smoky Mountain Railway and “Polar Express” during the Christmas Holiday).

A little more than 40 minutes away, you’ll arrive in Asheville at the Biltmore Estate & Winery (America’s largest and most visited privately-owned home), many great restaurants and micro-breweries. The huge Aston Park tennis center is built into a large hill a minute from downtown Asheville.

Approximately, 1 hour away heading south to Hendersonville, you can visit Sierra Nevada Brewery (with their enormous dining and Tap Room), gem mining, white water rafting, zip-lining Lake Lure and much more in the surrounding areas. 1 hour and 30 minutes away is Transylvania County (home of the most waterfalls in the United States), and over 100 Antique Shops You are just under 1 hour 35 minutes to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, Tennessee (home of Dollywood)

In conclusion, you can stay at the cabin and enjoy mountain vibes. With peace and quiet.

All guests must pick up a guest check-in package including check-in information, directions to property, and keys to the vacation rental home from the property manager at Maggie Mountain Vacations.

The cabin was very nice and spacious. We enjoyed having space for everybody to be to themselves. The location was great. Nice neighborhood, close to others and able to get supplies or go to town, but a sense of seclusion if you wanted it. There was a decent road to run/hike on nearby and we enjoyed the hot tub and WiFi. It was a great recharge vacation for all of us.

We stayed at this beautiful cabin during Thanksgiving week and absolutely loved it. The cabin was cozy, spotless, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The view of the mountains was truly amazing — the kind that makes you stop and stare. We can’t wait to come back and enjoy this peaceful getaway again! Highly recommend.

The cabin was great! It had all the necessities especially in the kitchen. Plenty of seating and comfortable sleeping conditions. Only complaint was the hot tub was so chlorinated that we couldn’t use it.

House was accurately represented by description and pictures. I was not pleased with the need to stop by the management prior to check in even through the office is conveniently located in relation to travel to this house. Everything could and should be covered vie electronic communication including access information for the house.
