The most amazing accommodation ever. The kindest hosts who go above and beyond, stunning scenery, magazine-worthy interiors. It instantly felt like a home away from home, I can't say enough wonderful things. We'll be back!

The accommodation (Field Huts 3) was beyond all our expectations - arrival heralded by crackling pot belly stove. The scenery was breathtaking and Warren's meals delivered to the door were culinary perfection. The fact we could share this experience with our fur babies made the whole week spectacular!!!!

Tinkersfield is absolutley stunning. Despite the weather being torrential rain, it was magical sitting by the fire and enjoying the property as Kanagroos and Deer roamed the fields. We loved every minute and can't wait to book to come back.

Highly recommend! We travel a lot and prefer luxury stays, and this was the best place we have stayed at! The decor, the thoughtful layouts, everything was so easy to find, management were so great at communication. Great for dogs. It is so clean and comfortable! I’m allergic to a lot of scents, and also vegan, and they went above and beyond for us. All the products beautiful. The facilities are all high quality.

Felt right at home from the moment we arrived. With treats, bread and milk supplied. Room was nice and spacious. Great attention to detail. More amenities than a hotel room. We were blown away. Double glazed windows, fire place and location of our cabin was very private even though our neighbours were right next door. Positioning of all the ceiling to floor windows was well thought out. we saw lots of wildlife during our stay. Sonja couldn't do enough for us. She even looked after our dogs while we spent a morning at the snow fields. Staff are friendly and up for a chat. When it was snowfall the place was just MAGIC and surreal. We will definitely be back. Highly recommend. Our stay at Crackenback really made our time so enjoyable and memorable. We are still talking about it almost 3 weeks later.

The property is exactly what you’d imagine an Alpine stay to be. The field hut was a marvel, we must of spent the first half an hour checking out how well appointed the field hut was. Warm tones, copper fittings, lovely rugs, generous lounge room with a great view. We walked in to a warm, gently lit house after driving 5 hours and arriving at night. It was bang on for the weary traveller! Sonja and Warren were very accommodating. They even prepared a sleeping cot and high chair for our little one, which was a brilliant surprise. A home cooked lamb shoulder and smoked trout on the last night was just fantastic. Could not recommend highly enough.

We had an outstanding stay at Tinkersfield and can't wait to return. Usually the photos of a listing are better than real life however the opposite is true for this accommodation. The location is remote and quiet yet very easy to get to, and checking and directions were spot on. The design and layout is stunning and straight out of a style magazine (literally!) - we loved every part of it. Large bedroom and bathroom with a great dining and living space. The wood fire was lovely for the cold nights and we didn't feel the cold one bit. The place was spotlessly clean and all the modern amenities you could want. Sonja was an exceptional host and we couldn't have felt more welcome. Thankyou!
