Sautee Nacoochee, Georgia
This rustic cabin resembles a tree house in the mountains! There are NEW beautiful year round mountain views while relaxing on the deck, in the hot tub, or sitting on the swing under the deck. Enjoy sitting by the gas fireplace in the living room on the cool nights or head outside and warm up around the fire pit! There is plenty of wildlife to be seen including bears, but no need to worry they are more scared of you than you are of them!
Amenities:
•Kitchen- refrigerator, freezer, oven, microwave, coffee maker & fully stocked with most utensils and cookware you may need. There may be other cooking supplies like oil, sugar & and other seasoning that guest choose to leave for future guests. There is also a gas grill on the deck for cooking out.
•Living Room- sleeper sofa (sheets, pillows & extra blankets in one of the bedrooms), gas fireplace, smart TV with great WiFi, DVD player, coffee table with movies & games inside. There are hot tub towels in a basket by the front door. AC unit is also centrally located in the living room area.
** ONLY USE THE TIMER TO THE LEFT OF THE MANTLE NEXT TO THE TV TO TURN THE GAS FIREPLACE ON/OFF. Any other method may result in the pilot going out. Our housekeeper ALWAYS checks that the fireplace is working properly before and after EACH reservation. Due to the amount of variables that can result in the pilot light going out (i.e. tampering with controls inside the fireplace itself, strong wind gusts coming down the flue, dust falling into the pilot, etc. which are all out of our control) we will not be able to relight the pilot until after you have checked out. We have tried walking guests through the process over the phone in the past but most have been unsuccessful due to the level of difficulty. If the pilot does go out and you have knowledge of gas fireplace inserts you are more than welcome to try and relight the pilot yourself. We don’t offer any type of discount if the fireplace stops working during your stay.**
•Bedroom 1- queen size bed with nightstand, a shelf for storage, hangers, sleeper sofa sheets, extra pillows & blankets.
•Bedroom 2- queen size bed with nightstand, TV & Roku, shelf for storage, hangers, extra towels if needed.

We loved everything about the cabin! The hot-tub,fireplace,fire pit, deck and swing were all awesome amenities and we utilized each and every one of them! Elkmont 21 was beyond perfect for our little faniky and 2 dogs. It is close to great hiking and parks as well as Helen which was too touristy to me. I prefer nature and here I was surrounded by it! Highly recommend stsying here for the price and qhat you get. I even ordered Instacart for groceries!!! Loved!!! Best Thanksgivjng I' ve had!!!
We spent 5 nights at the mountain cabin. Morning coffee on the deck was incredible, the peace, quiet, and beautiful fall colors were incredible. The property was very well maintained and the host was very helpful. Great vacation spot.
Cute little place. Clean. The only thing is the fire place was not working
We enjoyed our stay. The drive in is narrow but well maintained. The setting is very pretty and quiet. We did not use the fire pit or the spa but both looked quite inviting. It was an easy drive into town. The cabin is nothing fancy but very cozy and enjoyable. We would stay there again and plan to.
I came with my sister and mom. We had a great time. House was clean and exactly as stated. Would highly recommend.
It was ok I would do again
Cabin was nice, hot tub was great after hiking and sore muscles. The firepit was set up, although the wood was wet and we really never got it going. Beds were comfy, shower pressure was great!
This was a cute little cabin we stayed two nights at on our way to visit family in Michigan from Florida. Loved the mountain view and the hot tub! We also enjoyed the property and fire pit. Cabin was “clean” but could definitely use a good deep cleaning (high/low dusting, sticky crumbs and stuff on inside of fridge door wiped out inside, etc, nothing major, but deep cleaning stuff like that). The tv remote for living room had corroded batteries so couldn’t use that unfortunately. Otherwise it was a great stay and we’d come back!
This cabin was the perfect little getaway for our anniversary! It was minutes to Helen and Anna Ruby Falls. Plus, the hot tub was great for soaking after a day of hiking. We will definitely book here again when we come back.
Our 3 night stay here was amazing! The cabin was even cuter than the pictures. The hot tub was perfect and location was so peaceful! Easy check in and no problems all weekend. Thanks for a great anniversary weekend!
Clean and just right for us! My first time renting a cabin in Helen I usually stay in a hotel but I wanted a change! I got lost on the way up but the owner was very helpful and kind in directing me to the right place! He deserves a 5 star as well!
Instructions clearly marked. Secluded location with narrow roads to our cabin, but we enjoyed our stay.
We really enjoyed the stay. Convenient but private. We definitely come back
This was an inviting and cozy cabin. the amenities are great and we had a fun weekend in helen celebrating October fest. Thanks for the hospitality.
Excellent!!
Only complaint I have is the beds were to firm! But everything was perfect and wonderful
My wife and I had a fantastic stay at this cabin over a long Easter weekend. The spot nestled at the top of a gravel road (glad we had our Subaru!) in the mountains just north of Helen, GA was peaceful and serene. There was so much to enjoy about our stay: the mountain view from the deck, the fireplace in the cabin, a relaxing soak in the hot tub at night followed by a comfortable sleep at the end of each day. We loved being so close to so many adventurous options in the mountains-10-15 minutes from the Russell-Brasstown Scenic Byway and Appalachian Trail, a mere 5 minutes from Anna Ruby Falls and Unicoi State Park, and just a couple more minutes further to strolling the German-decor streets of Helen. We got to escape the hustle and bustle of our daily lives and just enjoy the scenery around us. It was a wonderful stay, and a cabin I would definitely recommend to anyone wishing to enjoy the mountains of north Georgia.
Nice long weekend. Private and quiet and not too far from town. This place is off the beaten path but not too hard to get to.
