Stayed Apr 15, 2022This was my first time staying in a private home vs a hotel. I have nothing bad to say or nothing to suggest about this property. Our stay was perfect. All you need are your personal items and groceries if you want to stay in and relax. The porch was my favorite spot to be. Without a doubt; I would stay at this property again. The owner did not disappoint. EXCELLENT JOB!!!!

Stayed Apr 16, 2026Walked in the door and fell in love. The inside is so comfortable. The baskets were beautiful. Wish I could have this as my home away from home.Outside the foliage and flowers were beautiful. Loved the porch and porch swing. Driveway was steep, but no problem for my husband. Can't wait to go back! Thank you for having us.

Stayed Mar 10, 2026Cabin was very nice and quiet. Fireplace came in handy on those cool mornings and evenings. Host was excellent and communication was easy and timely. We would consider renting here again.

Stayed Feb 21, 2026We thoroughly enjoyed staying at Sugar Cabin this February. It defines what a cozy cabin is. Cabin-style living, dining, and bedroom furniture, and the coziness and warmth of a fireplace that we loved! The kitchen is very modern and has all the cooking and serving pieces needed. Watching the snow on the mountain was priceless! Thank you so much!

Stayed Oct 25, 2025Our host Maria was very good and she answered all our questions very expeditiously and had everything in her cabin rental booklet that was very informative. Everything that you would need on our trip was there, kitchen utensils, paper towels, toiletries, etc. 5 star host!!!!

Stayed Aug 14, 2025Sugar Cabin exceeded our expectations; very well stocked and super clean. The immense quiet was perfect. We stayed two weeks with the 2nd week giving us cool mornings and evenings. The fireplace was a treat! The proximity to waterfalls, hikes, sightseeing was perfect. Highly recommend.

Stayed Apr 2, 2024This is a nice, small cabin. The cabin was very clean when we arrived and getting in was easy. The roads to access the property are good and not too challenging for the mountains. The driveway is steep but short so as long as the weather is good there are no issues there. WiFi worked well and the gas logs were a great addition. The kitchen is well stocked with pots and pans if you want to cook, but Waynesville is just down the road if you prefer to eat out. Be aware that this cabin is in a neighborhood, so if you're looking for a secluded place this isn't it. If you don't mind other cabins/houses nearby this is a great choice that we would book again without any concerns.
