Mountain Manor Top Pool with views near Dollywood!

We use to stay at this property under the previous owner. We were sad when it went off the market and we had to find somewhere else. We were so excited to see it back up for rental. So much so, that we booked it, then cancelled our other location. We absolutely love the peace and quiet, Mountain View, outdoor pool, and location. We had a bear come and visit and we saw an Eagle fly over. We have already booked again for next year!!

This property is well laid out and has an absolutely stunning view. It is spacious and comfortable, and with AWD vehicles we had no problem getting up the gravel road. However, the place was overgrown with vines to where we could not use the fire pit, and they were not able to come cut it back very fast, and there were a ton of wasps, which even stung the maintenance man when he tried to fix the safety lock for the pool, which was broken. They left a can of wasp killer instead of removing the wasp nests, which we believe are under the porch. It was not clean at all, our feet were black to the point where we wore shoes most of the time. The stairs are steep wood with no grippers which was dangerous with small children. The tubs were gross and the water pressure was bad. The towels smelled like wet dog and so did the dryer and anything we washed smelled when it came out. Many towels had black or gray stuff in them like deep stains. The linens smells like someone else's sweat. The beds were largely uncomfortable. The downstairs toilet was not working right and maintenance's attempt to fix did not actually work. The gutters were clogged and ceiling fan lights not working. The pool heater was not working and not in good order. We did not use the hot tub so I can't speak to that. Offering to send people to clean again was not appealing as the dirt was so set in. The view made up for a lot but this property is slipping into disrepair and becomes not worth the cost or hassle

It was dirty! The pool area was covered in dry leafs..had to sweep to walk barefoot…the cleaners dumped watermelon, tomatoes and a gallon of ketchup in the driveway! And it attracted the bears! All the patio furniture had an inch of dust! Deck had protruding nails! Bathroom corners were gross! All the window sills had dead bugs and dirt! The hot tub was gross looking! The bbq was burnt out..the fire pit was overgrown! They didn’t use the weed eater anywhere! No games as pictured…No sand for the shuffle board… had to buy our own batteries for all the tv remotes, foosball table is about to cave!! So disappointed!

The cabin was very large and gave the entire family plenty of room to hang out and for the kids to play.

Property was as described. Could have had more interior seating. Had a couple of problems, but host was upfront and communicated the issues. As well as making everything right. Would stay again.

Cleanliness needs to be addressed. Especially under items that do not generally get moved. We had to spend time at the beginning of our stay sweeping and mopping the downstairs. I did not let our 1 year old granddaughter crawl on the floor at all during the stay. The outside foliage was over grown around the pool and fire pit. A yard crew came the day before we left to trim. We ended up cleaning grass debris out of the pool as well as rocks that made their way in from the trimming. The grill was the worst we have ever seen so we did not use it. Home just needs some tender loving care. There were some water pressure issues which were mostly resolved. We liked the beds and the layout. The view was the best. I would consider staying here again, but a few things definitely need addressed.

My family of 9 enjoyed our stay! The house was spacious and the views were amazing! There are 4 large bedrooms with their own bathrooms which was a plus. The beds in all the rooms were very comfy. The mountain views from the large balcony were amazing!! We loved swimming the the heated pool every evening enjoying the view!

The outside sitting areas were filthy. The vegetation was overgrown everywhere and you couldn’t even use the outside fire pit from the overgrown grass and the plants were growing into the pool area. The pictures on the listing were extremely decieving. Landscapers came to trim the vegetation but left the remnants everywhere and we had to clean it up ourselves so grass wasn’t all over around the pool. They did get the cleaning crew to come back and wipe down the patio furniture and sweep the covered porch but that should have been done before we got there. The inside of the house very dirty as well. Someone spilled some water on the kitchen floor and we wiped it with a piece of paper towel and it was black. My wife went to the store to buy slippers because she didn’t want to walk around barefoot in the house. The sleeping arrangements were good though and the beds were very comfortable. The road was quite steep but we made it up in our car. The road was washing out and if it had rained more we might have had a hard time getting up or down but it turned out ok.

We were advised the road leading to the property was a little steep but not bad. Not only was it bad, it needs to be filled with gravel as we almost bottomed out going up the road. As we pulled up to the property I can see it needed work. As we got inside the furniture was not the same as the pictures and should be replaced and was very uncomfortable. In addition, the mattresses were stained and the beds were not comfortable. The tables on the decks were rusted in spots. Our family usually rents homes for vacation but after this experience, we no longer will. I further want to state that we had to leave early the next day as there was no water due to the well. Although the host was quick with communication, the host stated that if we left that night, he would give us a full refund, if not he would just charge us 50% for the first night. As it was 1:00 am there was no way for us to leave as not only due to the time it was pitch black out. The host did decide that due to the water situation, I was given a full refund. Fortunately we were able to find a hotel that can accommodate my family as I needed 4 rooms. Also, the house was not very cleaned.

The view was gorgeous, we loved the porch and the pool. The house had fun amenities like games and a large table that was fun to gather at. The road was difficult for us to get up but my sister had no issue in her truck. Suggest a sturdy vehicle with 4 wheel drive.

Overall incredible stay especially for a relatively inexpensive price. The view was absolutely immaculate and the pool was a huge bonus! The owners were very responsive with questions and the listing is very accurate. As the listing noted, you will likely need a 4x4 to make it up the driveway but because they mentioned that we were proactive with a jeep and didnt run into any issues making it up the drive. We did get some rain but the pool was not negatively impacted for us. In fact, on the heaviest day of rain, the pool crew proactivelt was out checking ph and chemicals so we were still able to swim. One of the big positives that the listing didnt necessarily talk about is that each bedroom has an attachdd bathroom. This made it really easy for all of us to stay and get ready on our schedule.Excellent stay!

Love the view of the mountains. Kids loved the pool and didn’t want to leave. Might update the pictures, there was not a swing on the porch. The road was rough but manageable even with 2 wheel drive.

My honest review of our stay at Mountain Manor. The good: The location is great. Close enough to all the attractions but far enough away that its quite.The home is spacious.4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. All the bathrooms are attached to the bedrooms. Comfortable beds. Especially the memory foam king sizes. The kitchen is very spacious. You also have a large dinning table that held all of my family easily. The pool is a nice addition to have as well as the hot tub. My children enjoyed the pool and i enjoyed having loungers to sit and watch them play.There is a good size pourch and ample seating for you to enjoy the mountain views. However, the best part of our stay was having a adorable bear cub come and visit us 3 days in a row. He came all the way up on the porch to the front door. Where else will you experience that?We ran into a issue with the air conditioning on the second floor but the host was quick to respond and sent someone out to check on it for us. At midnight no less. Now if i could change anything about the property or our stay:The cleaning could be a lot better.few little things in the home could use updating. New pots and pan in the kitchen. Definitely more towels for those who are staying more than a day or two.The porch light did not work, nor did the fans in two of the bedrooms. The washer and dryer are a nice addition but the dryer takes 2 full cycles to get even close to dry.The driveway is rock, steep, and washed out in several places.

This property has such a stunning view. We stayed here with our family and wish the stay was longer. The drive up to the cabin is all gravel so definitely need experienced driver to get up to it, but once you’re there the photos don’t do it justice. We all had such a great time.

Everything was nice and cozy pool could have been cleaned better other than that it was good, porch was also dirty with dust and pollen all over outdoor chairs

Nice house that slept 12 people with breath taking views

Pictures of the property view do not fully capture the beauty of the landscape. 11 of us friends came for spring break and comfortably fit in the house. Huge kitchen and was easy to store all groceries and cook. Shuffle board was tore up on the surface, but we spent most of our time at the house in the hot tub. Highly recommend families and large friend groups staying here. Commute time is more than reasonable for the privacy and price.

Beautiful place. Rooms were perfect and spacious, beds were clean and soft, the road up to the Cabin is a little sketchy but nothing to crazy. The views are amazing in the morning and overall super peaceful

This place was great, such a beautiful view. The home was large enough for my family of 10, with bathrooms in every room. Amazing place!

This property was great for a long weekend with multiple family members. Having a bathroom for each bedroom was great. The deck and view are amazing. The kids enjoyed the hot tub. The host was very responsive and easy to work with. The location was nice for avoiding some of the traffic on the parkway as you could easily get to Teaster and some of the back roads. Would stay again.

Stunning view, owner is cool but in the kitchen not enough pans, not even to suitable pan to make omelet. dinner ware, glasses, dustbin are gross, expertise driver is must to drive all the way up to hill to reach the property, not much kids activities after reaching the property, We enjoyed the city activities.

This property has an amazing view! We enjoyed the privacy and large porch looking at the mountains. The bedrooms were big. The kitchen had tons of space for everybody to gather for meals. The distance to Dollywood and other activities was very convenient. We enjoyed the pizzeria and distillery close by.
