Welcome to Tranquility Cove Lodge, where retro Route 66 meets classic Smoky Mountain Cabin getaway!

From the moment you arrive, you’ll be blown away by the hundreds of authentic, antique pieces that create the extraordinary space. From the real Sinclair Oil Dino hanging out in the fun kids room to the many collectors items adorning every wall, you’ll never find another cabin like this! Tranquility Cove Lodge is tucked away on 40-acres of private property and situated directly on Douglas Lake. For those that love to hike, a walking trail across the street is ready for you to explore the entire property. Once you make your way through the gated entrance take a left on the concrete, paved driveway as you make you assent to the house. The private driveway is at an incline to reach the cabin, and we recommend parking a maximum of 3 cars in the driveway. Guests also have access to the onsite, 220 V Tesla charger.

When you step through the door, enjoy the spacious kitchen, fully stocked and perfect for entertaining. You’ll find everything you need to cook a meal for everyone and more features including all stainless steel appliances, double sinks, and a wine cooler. Off the entrance you can also find a large cleaning closet with a stacked washer and dryer combo. Right off the dining room, the cabin opens up to the high-ceiling living room, complete with a mounted smart TV and grand, stone fireplace. Now, prepare to be blown away when you catch a glimpse of the mountain views from the large deck. You can enjoy the sunrise each morning sitting at a bistro table or head to the other side of the deck and retire with the sun each night hopping between the personal sauna and hot tub.

Speaking of resting up, there is plenty of space to turn in at the end of the day and recharge for the next adventure. You will feel so cozy when you come to relax in the luxurious Master and there is even plenty of space for two to get ready at the double vanity sink in the updated bathroom. Upstairs you will discover two queen size suites, bear suite and moose suite, that also provide daybeds and their own private balcony. Every room features smart TVs; electric, wall-mounted fireplaces; and updated, in-suite bathrooms. The final bedroom can be found on the lower level and it is all about the little ones. Double bunks, each with a full bed on the bottom and upper twin bed, is the perfect place for your kids to hangout. All will surely love the classic cars themed decor including a Sinclair Dino to scale!

The lower level is not only there for the kiddos though! There is entertainment for all ages to use the pool table, vintage arcade games with over 60+ classic games we all know, and a private movie theater with full streaming capabilities. Bring your popcorn, cozy blanket, and turn on the working, antique theater lights to feel like you're watching your favorite movie at the real movie theater.

Don’t worry, if you prefer to entertain and relax outside, we’ve got you covered. Gather around the outdoor fireplace with seating wrapped around with space for everyone. You can spend time together sharing laughs and roasting marshmallows while looking out at the Great Smoky Mountains or even chill in the hammock while you read your book next to a steady fire. The outdoor living space is perfect for however you want to unwind!

Tranquility Cove Lodge is conveniently located off of Interstate 40 and close access to surrounding marinas. Less than 1 hour to enjoy some of the most breathtaking routes (hwy 411) to explore Dollywood, Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and of course the Great Smoky Mountains. Maybe you’re coming to Dandridge for the rich history and genuine southern hospitality This cabin is a must stay property! Less than 10 miles to the celebrated Downtown Dandridge. There is something for everyone!
*All the history lovers will love the classic antiques found throughout the space.
*Kids will love all the entertainment and adventures to have on a vast 40-acre private property.
*The entire family will love making special memories together that last a lifetime.

The combination of cozy cabin vibe and the countless treasures collected over the years, Tranquility Cove Lodge is truly a masterpiece that is ready to welcome you and your family.

●Depending on weather pattern and water level, water access is typically from April through October.

NOTE: The lake water levels fluctuate because it's raised and lowered by the Tennessee Valley Authority. During the summer months, the lake is high and the dock is floating. Early Fall to Spring the water may be down and sometimes there is no water in the cove especially if it hasn't rained.

Surveillance on the parking lot area.

AIRPORT: MgGhee Tyson Airport (56.3 miles)

Beautiful cabin! Perfect gateway. Very clean. Great location-not too far from Gatlinburg & Pigeon Forge but far enough away so it’s quiet & remote. Teresita was a great host. Great communication & answered my questions very promptly. Would definitely recommend!

This was the perfect mountain and lake getaway! Two families 5 teenagers and the house size was just what we needed. The game room and hot tub was used every day by the teens and the outdoor swings are a great way to end your day. There was so much to enjoy just walking through the house looking at all the decorations. We had no issues parking 3 large vehicles. There is a non paved road that takes you to the boat dock, yes it’s on a hill but we expected that coming to the mountains. We utilized one of our trucks to Uber us from the dock to the house as needed. The dock is large enough for everyone to spread out and relax. We packed coolers for the day so there was no reason to go back up to the house till evening time. We did rent a boat for most the week and jet skis on a day. The dock set up was very easy to park everything. The was the most beautiful lake we had ever been too and it wasn’t busy! Most of the lake is not developed so if you’re looking for a quiet lake this is it! Also, if you’re looking for a house where the dock isn’t on the main channel so you can swim and float without boats going by, this was the perfect quiet spot! They do have kayaks already on the dock for you to use however, we brought two more kayaks, three blowup paddle boards and a bunch of floats. We made so many memories here!!

The cabin has everything you need to just stay in the mountains and enjoy the mountains! Plenty of room, great game room and an awesome fire pit! Can’t say enough good things about it. This is my 5 or 6th time staying here and i won’t stay anywhere else.

We had a terrific time at your cabin! The decor is just amazing as were the mountain views. We visited the Douglas Dam and found a few nearby trails to hike. No bears spotted (which was really ok with us) but we did have a bald eagle fly over us while we were near the water. Really cool! We'd love to visit again sometime.

Pictures did not do this cabin just! Not only did the cabin have everything you traditionally want during your stay (hot tubs, comfy beds, great kitchen etc), but all the little details throughout the place really were so unique and fun to enjoy. We loved having out in the living but also the basement games and movies were a big hit. The place was spotless, and I’ve got some picky people with me, but we were happy to find the place well cared for with everything we needed. The whole process was also super easy, working with the family managers was easy and very helpful during our interview stay. Cannot wait to come back in the summer again! Thank you!

I messed up our reservation so showed up after 10:00pm on the day I thought I had booked, only to realize we were scheduled for the following day. I called Theresita and she worked everything out for us to check in that night. It saved us from getting off to a terrible start to our trip. the cabin itself is very cool and full of eclectic decor. the kids loved and it and it was very clean and comfortable.

I embarked on a much-needed getaway to a picturesque cabin nestled in the woods. The moment I arrived, I felt a wave of tranquility wash over me. The cabin stood in perfect harmony with its surroundings, surrounded by towering trees and the sweet scent of fresh earth. It looked exactly like the pictures I had seen on the VRBO site, which immediately set my mind at ease. The check-in process was seamless, allowing me to settle in quickly. As we stepped inside, we were greeted by a warm and inviting space that exuded comfort. The interiors were clean and thoughtfully decorated, blending rustic charm with modern amenities. I couldn’t help but smile at how every corner of the cabin seemed to whisper “relax” to me. After unpacking, I took a moment to bask in the serenity of my surroundings. The cabin perched on a gentle hill, offering stunning views of the valley below. I spent my afternoons lounging on the balcony and couch, sipping my beverages, and listening to the sounds of nature. One of the highlights of my stay was the sense of seclusion. The hot tub, fire pit, and sauna were amazing. Not to mention, the teenagers indulge themselves in the private area Kid zone gaming room, theater room, and bunk room. We also had a wonderful time getting out to enjoy the surrounding area of Pigeon Forge and downtown Gatlinburg. Douglas Lake was phenomenal! Leaving this lovely was not easy. Although, I have a memorable gift from the host to remind me of my visit here. I'll be back.

It had everything you could want for a mountain getaway. The house was beautiful, the movie room was amazing. All the furniture was extremely comfortable, and unlike most places the mattresses were top notch. Whether you were indoors or outdoors, it was extremely relaxing.

The house is very private, and very personalized and well maintained. We saw new details almost everyday that we'd missed previously. The dock, which had two adult and two children's kayaks complete with vests and paddles, was an awesome way to end the days. The owner was extremely kind and helpful, and responds almost instantly to any issues.
