Mountain Cabin - Old Idyllwild Charm! Dog friendly. Minutes from the village.

Parking was difficult. Must provide your own wood for fireplace but plenty to be had in the area for cheap. The cabin is awesome! Great for a small family that just wants some no thrills, no frills peace and quiet! Everything worked, except the toilet is a bit tricky with the handle. Loved it very much!!!

Very good experience, very clean & cute place

It was just really cozy and exactly what I needed. Nice quiet safe street to walk dogs on and the heating and all the furniture was comfortable. I already booked another 4 days in Dec!

We had a wonderful stay celebrating my husband’s birthday, and it was such a treat to be able to bring our pup along. We were especially pleasantly surprised by how spacious and comfortable the kitchen and dining area were—perfect for making and enjoying a couple of relaxed breakfasts. The outdoor seating areas were also lovely and added to the overall experience.The only minor issue we encountered was with the living room lighting, as we couldn’t get the overhead light to turn on despite the remote seeming to work.A small note for future guests: parking is shared among a few nearby cabins, so while there appears to be space for several vehicles, it may require some coordination if multiple cars are involved. It wasn’t an issue for us, but something to keep in mind, especially for larger groups.Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would happily return.

This was our second stay here and we absolutely loved it!Fireplace was cozy, kitchen immaculate and the bed was sooo comfortable. We will definitely be back!

It was a wonderful 4-night stay with my 80-year old dad. The cabin is roomy yet cozy and had everything we needed…full kitchen with cookware and utensils, bathroom towels and toiletries, extra blankets, and lots of outdoor seating areas. Picked up firewood in Idyllwild (1-mile easy drive) for the fireplace. It was a magical visit in the mountains!

This little cabin is so darling and is exactly what we were hoping for. From the wood panel walls, to the cozy furniture, soft bed and the sweetest little dining room, we loved it all. The location was great and it’s just about a mile from the center of town.It’s vintage so you can’t expect a new property, but it had a really great heater and the water pressure was excellent with really hot water.There were lots of nice little extras like soap, shampoo, and a kitchen, full of pretty much everything you need to never have to leave. But if you wanted to, you are not far away excellent restaurants.Host was extremely communicative as well.Can’t wait to go back again

The cabin was perfect! Lovely decorations inside and charming patios for enjoying the outside. Very comfortable furniture. The bed was heavenly!We loved everything about our stay! Thank you for sharing your lovely home!

Cozy, quiet cabin with all of the amenities. The floor plan layout is great and enjoying a fire in the main room was a plus. So close to town but yet with the feel of solitude. The host was extremely accommodating. We will be back!

Great WiFi and ac

Outdated furniture and appliances, I understand it’s a cabin but also needs to be upgraded. Better options for the price out there!

I wanted to be a little out of town and this worked. Only a minute drive and you are there.

We were looking for a weekend getaway in a cozy cabin, and this is exactly what it was! Wood paneled Wild West feel, but had modern appointments like dishwasher, toaster, etc. Heat was easy to use, BBQ worked great, and the beds were very comfortable. We are looking forward to returning here.

We only were able to stay for a couple of nights, but we really enjoyed the visit. VERY clean and definitely larger than we expected, including two furnished outdoor decks, a large dining area and a good-sized kitchen. Great to find an affordable, VERY pet-friendly place in Idyllwild.

To start the oictures posted for this booking did not match when I arrived. Everything in the cabin was broken and you can tell needed repairs. The main cincern was there being no hot water. The host informed to run the kitchen water at the same time. In my opinion I didn't pay to jimmy rig things during my stay. All and all i don't recommend this place at all.

Just rested; two sons and spouses visited; one from Colorado. Enjoyed the snowstorms even if we were snowed in twice for two days each) until dug out ( fun experience). Enjoyed the town and restaurants. The mountain cabin feel was exactly what we wanted. I was not ready to leave; wife was (long enough for her but she also enjoyed the mountains, animals and surroundings)

Only able to stay one night instead of two because the weather but other than that, it was great very nice. We’ll be back.

Wonderful to stay here for a quick trip with my family. Host was very responsive and provided thorough check in details.

Close to downtown Idyllwild, but far enough away for a wonderful, relaxing time. Property is perfect with everything needed for any occasion!

We had great couple of days stay here. Great location near the Village and easy access off the main road. Well equipped modern kitchen and bath in a classic old style cabin that's a little rough around the edges in the best way possible. Mark, the owner, was great, communication and instructions minimal and easy. Highly recommend!

Wonderful stay at this quaint rustic cabin. We brought our dogs, played games, walked to town for dinner and enjoyed the property. Will return!
