Mountain cabin, Clarkesville Ga, on beautiful trout stream near Soque River

This cabin is perfectly located in a quiet, rural area with plenty of space to roam outside next to a hypnotizing running mountain stream. It is nicely furnished with lots of room for gathering of family or friends downstairs with a fireplace and dining, and extra sleeping quarters in the loft. If you are looking for quiet serenity, this is it!

Nice cozy atmosphere. Beautiful property. Creek was pretty and nice to listen to when sitting outside or on the back porch. Quiet and serene.

The cabin made us feel like we where home …

This was one of the most beautiful properties we have rented. The home is beautiful and the grounds are gorgeous. The most tranquil and beautiful creek flows right beside the home. It's very relaxing and peaceful to sit on the screened porch overlooking the creek and listening to the rushing waters. We will definitely be repeat customers.

This is one of our favorite places to stay in North Georgia. It's a little piece of Heaven!! The addition of a king-sized bed in the main bedroom is a fantastic upgrade. The upstairs sleeping arrangements are also improved with a queen/double and 2 twins. The absolutely best part of this rental is the nature surrounding it. BEST nap ever on the screened in porch with the waterfall lulling you to sleep!

This was an amazing vacation for my family. We enjoyed everything about the area. Beautiful hiking and waterfalls. The house and property couldn't have been better. We had the pleasure of meeting one of the family members during our stay and it was nice to sit and visit with her. Hopefully will be back in the future.

Beautiful location and cabin. Even saw some deer. Was right by a melodic little creek. Especially enjoyed sitting in the closed in porch. Was close enough to Clarkesville and Helen.

This place is more beautiful than pictured! My kids loved exploring the property and playing in the creek! Plenty to do nearby but we could’ve stayed the whole time and never leave. The perfect place to unplug and unwind. My 8 year old cried when we had to leave. We will definitely be back!!

Bathroom awkward. Showering was hard. Beds comfortable. Headroom upstairs was a problem.

This is our fourth time staying at the Blackburn Cabin and each time we fall in love with the cabin and area all over again. Clean and comfy! Can't wait to return!

This cabin was perfect for our family of 7. We had enough bed space for everyone. The land around the home and the stream beside it were amazing features that allowed us to explore and relax listening to the mountain sounds. The home was well equipped with everything we needed. We did bring coffee, sugar, extra paper towels, and extra toilet paper. If staying for a longer period than 3-4 nights, I would recommend bringing washing detergent. Thank you for letting us enjoy your home!

The view and the area around the cabin were beautiful. The cabin itself was adorable and clean. We did have a couple of squeaky visitors and one committed suicide in the washing machine so be careful. But, that is to be expected when you are enjoying the great wilderness!

This is probably the 5-6th time that we’ve stayed at this property, it’s a great, quick escape from the city. Warm days, cool nights, no need to leave unless you want to. No need for us to leave, sat in the river for 3 days. Looking forward to next visit!

This is the second time that I've stayed at this cabin, and I love staying here. It is on beautiful property with a lovely creek next to the house. The cabin itself is comfy and quaint and not too far from all the north Georgia adventures. I'm worried that word is out about this place, and it won't be long before it is all booked up. This place would be a great place to spend the weekend with a family with plenty of outdoor space for kids to run free. I'm sure I'll be back before too long.

I chose to celebrate my 50th birthday at this wonderful cabin. We had other family staying nearby and used this house as our home base. The property was beautiful and we spent many hours playing board games on the screened-in porch, playing ball in the yard, wading in the water, and having bonfires with smores every night. It was a weekend we will not forget. We all agree that we would like to make this our meeting place for future family gatherings and getaways.

This was our 5th stay in the last 5 years. Property was great just like always and the small changes to the cabin were really nice. We will definitely be back.

This magical place has a very special place in our hearts, we’ve made so many memories here over the last 8 yrs. Our daughter graduated high school and the only thing she wanted to do to celebrate was come back to her favorite place on earth!! The lightning bugs dancing across the fields was like a scene out of a fairytale!! Absolute perfection as always!! Thank you to the Blackburn family for sharing this home with us.
