Stayed Jul 16, 2025This was a great place to stay in Walden! The kitchen was nice and large, well equipped, and made cooking easy. There were plenty of spaces to hang out, and we loved how close it was to Main Street for walking to dinner. We slept with the windows open and it was nice and quiet during the night. Would stay here again!

Stayed Aug 9, 2024I will start with the most negative inexcusable Complaint! Just because you slap a bed in a room, that obviously was an old sitting room or old living room DOES NOT make a BEDROOM!! I also have traveled enough to know that a loft does not have a door. I knew as a single person I was going to get the smallest bed, but to find out that the other party had to walk through my bedroom in order to get into the rest of the house is inexcusable!! Misrepresentation’s of the property!! I’m sick of getting miss led to from Vrbo or The Lodge itself or Evolve!!

Stayed Sep 29, 2023Historic property with modern conveniences. Nicely updated home with feel of a lodge. Loved the beamed and open living room with side seating conversation area. Kitchen well stocked with cooking utensils, dishes and new appliances. Spacious bedrooms with comfortable beds and sitting areas. 2 updated bathrooms. We range in age from mid 60’s to late 70’s and very much enjoyed our stay.

Stayed Sep 30, 2022The property itself is very nice. The rooms are spacious, checking in was easy, and the house is located across from a beautiful park, and close to the pool. Our glitch with the property was the furnace had not been turned on, and we did not have any heat the first night. It took the owner/manager until the following afternoon to come and turn on the furnace . This is the only reason I gave the property a 3 star rating. Everything else was excellent and I would recommend this property.
