Moose Landing Cabin A85 just minutes from Main St in Wasilla

Sadly by a highway with cars zooming by…Clean but unfortunately I would personally never recommend.

Clean and quiet

Beautiful cabin. Beds comfortable and very relaxing

This cabin was perfect for our trip. It was about 5minutes by car to all the places in Wasilla and 40 minutes from Anchorage….lovely drive. The beds were comfortable, showers hot, they had some coffee, tea, sugar and condiments provided if you needed them. They laundry facilities were a nice touch as we had been on the road for several weeks. The fire pit is a nice touch but we didn’t have time to use. Lively wooded area and really gave the Alaska feeling. I would stay here again.

Property was clean and looked as pictured. Had blackout curtains even on the high windows :). Host was quick to respond to messages (I had issues because I booked through Expedia and messaging was through VRBO and my reservations weren’t sinking between the two sites). Only potential draw back to this particular cabin, is it is closest to the road and there is road noise from people racing up the road and window facing road is permanently open with a window fan.

Absolutely loved this cabin! It was clean and well laid out. I would definitely stay here again.

Clean, easy check in, the property owner went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. I mean everything. You can literally show up with your clothes and groceries and have a wonderful time. Fire pit was nice too. Quiet and beautiful.

Great cabin in area where we wanted to fish. Wi-Fi (or lack thereof) was the only negative, as it never really worked.

Great little place.

We had a wonder stay in this very clean and cozy cabin. Close enough to everything but far enough out to enjoy the quiet porch listening to the birds. We walked a bit, found some unique mushrooms. The beds and pillows are so incredibly comfortable. The Wi-Fi was hit and miss but we weren’t there to watch tv or use much technology. Sit on the porch and enjoy the views. Communication with owners was great. We would definitely recommend that you stay at Moose Landing.

This cabin had everything you needed to be comfortable while enjoying a wooded setting. There was even a moose that came by each evening.

The place was great! Could use a couple wine glasses and the remote needs to be replaced. Bed was very comfortable.

Nice quiet cabin

Even though it was close to the road it still felt very private and safe. The cabin was more spacious than expected! We also got to see a beautiful cow moose on the property upon arrival!

I love the property. It was beautiful the trees surrounding it. You felt like you’re in the middle of nowhere. Cabin was great. I had a great day. It was only three days, but it was good.

The cabin was so well decorated, cozy, close to everything. Kitchen, well stocked, beds were very comfy. Will recommend to others coming to Alaska.

Such a cute cabin! It was exactly what I wanted when looking for a two night stay in Anchorage. It was so clean, had all the basic necessities, the beds were so comfortable, I was also happy that there were fans. And has a washer and dryer which was so helpful! The owner responded within minutes too! There’s a beautiful campfire set up which I’m sad I didn’t get to use, but just sitting on the porch was perfect. I absolutely would recommend this cozy cabin!

This cabin was perfect for what we needed! Everything was clean and having a washer and dryer in the cabin was an added bonus. The fire pits beside the cabin are a nice touch. We did see moose on the property while we were there, right next to the front porch!

it was a very nice property for us. It fit the needs in a nice location 45 minutes from Anchorage. It was a little bit of a drive to Denali but doable in a long day. Internet was weak from time to time but usable. Host was very friendly and helpful. Wasilla is a nice community.

Clean, Comfortable, friendly host, and peaceful place.

We went up for the Homestead Expo at the Menard Sports complex and this was perfect being so close. Cabin was super clean and comfortable. Fit our family of 6 for a long weekend. Will definitely use again if we find ourselves in Wasilla

Comfortable, warm cabin. Short drive from everything in Wasilla, but still a little off the beaten path.

Nice, quiet little getaway cabin away from the main part of town, yet still close enough to stores and restaurants if needed. the cabin had everything we needed and was very comfy. Would stay here again in the future.

I booked two stays here for a total of 53 nights. I was in the area for some training, and found this to be the perfect place. I didn't want to have to eat out every meal, or have to go to a laundromat every few days. Yes, there are flaws, just like any other place, and you could read about some of them in other reviews. But the location, the convenience having a kitchen and laundry, and the wonderful hosts made this a wonderful place for me. If I ever need a place in the Mat-Su Valley area again, this will be the first place I look. And YES, saw MOOSE on two occasions on or near this property while I was here. The name of the place is appropriate!

We had an amazing time - property had all you need for time away and serenity away! We had a quiet time away and slipped away for some alone time to enjoy our time. Definitely will stay again! Room to bring the kids or friends next time… maybe ;)

Beautiful place. Great location for activities in the area. Clean, great amenities and maybe the most comfortable beds I’ve been on.

This property is a perfect size and adorable. I wished we had stayed here our whole visit!!

We arrived late, left out early next morning. Everything was fine. Quick and easy. Property was as expected. Not a 5 Star Hyatt Regency, but in better condition than we expected for a small rental cabin in the woods. Would use this property again if in the area.

The cabin was perfect for a small group and short stay! They provided everything you would need such as bedding for the pull out couch, extra towels, toiletries, and little extras in the kitchen. We LOVED our stay and would highly recommend it to anyone with a group of 4 or less (we had 3). We had no trouble getting into the cabin, I would just add that the door code came by email a few minutes before check in time of 4 pm. (For the people who get nervous that they have not received a code).
