Moonlight Retreat - Blue Ridge, Ga.

The home is well appointed and convenient to all things to do in Blue Ridge. The management company was non-responsive unfortunately as we had some minor issues that needed to be addressed and they were impossible to get a hold of. We did receive one voicemail but when contacting the number recommended there was no answer, and never got another call back. The home was clean. However, there is a woodpecker that has caused some damage on the second floor of the house near the roof/eave, off of the main master bedroom. We had a lady bug (of all things) infestation in that room, and most of the upstairs, which I can only attribute to them trying to escape the cold. They were all over the curtains and floors, and were crawling all over the bedroom(s). Hundreds, it was kind of surreal. We just ignored and dealt with it. The gas grill outside had a sizeable mouse nest in it so it was not usable for our group. And the hot tub gets luke warm at best. But again, the home was clean and the kitchen is well stocked. Pool table was fun and the internet works well. I would give more than 3 stars but not getting responses from the management was the only negative. We enjoyed the trip and the area as always.

Check in was extremely easy, as the instructions were detailed. The kitchen had the necessary needs and was easy to use. We had wished there was more than one paper towel roll and one garbage bag as well as one roll of tp per bathroom.

Very impressive and highly comfortable home. One of the best vacation kitchens we have ever had! 10 out of 10 stays!

We enjoyed our mtn get away in Blue ridge. This cabin had everything except the pool was a seasonall opening and that was disappointing. It was listed as heated and was misleading. However, other than thatv it was everything it claimed to be and more. It was spotless. We were very pleased and located perfectly. Hostesses were very responsive.

Communication with property management began weeks prior to our arrival. We were concerned about a previous review that alluded to bedbugs. Property management was fantastic! They listen to, and reassured us on all of our concerns. I was thrilled to learn that they have an entire team that addresses any such concerns, including a canine bedbug detection unit. The home was inspected, and we were reassured that it was completely free, and ready for our arrival. The rest of the trip went smoothly. The kitchen is well stocked, the beds are very comfortable, and with our group of seven, there was always somewhere to lounge on the large couch, or play games at the large dining table. It was the perfect getaway for our group. We had a lot of rain during our stay, and there is a leak from the ceiling in the downstairs bedroom. But Maintenance will likely address that after our stay.

I think there may be bed bugs in the room upstairs with 2 queens and it would be great if the check out time could be 11:00 instead of 10:00, 10:00 is a bit early. Other than that our family loved the amenities your property provided.

Great property, super clean and close to everything while feeling private. Great house for families or friend groups!

We came up to see the fall leaves and to celebrate Thanksgiving with the family. It was a blast and the property did not disappoint. With all the amenities, the family never had a dull moment.

Excellent property with excellent family amenities, especially dining and recreational areas. Pool, with one caveat and one continuous problem, was really important onsite requirement for grandchildren expending energy. Nearby Apple orchard a nice escape (but check to see what is available for public picking before you go. We hiked a few nearby trails and wish we had done more research before going. Next time. The property management the group of retreats in the area was excellent, kind, professional, diligent. The property owner not so much. Much of that had to do with the pool (see other reviews). Any move forward to make stay more enjoyable was taken back by property owner. Stay in this area with this management group. Be wary of this property owner…realizing of course that it is his house. We only wanted a useable pool which meant warm water. Great property though.

The house was amazing! Plenty to occupy us on our getaway. It was close to the lake for the day we rented a boat. Lake Blue Ridge is also amazing! The house was clean and as described. We did have some questions about the pool that we never got answered - regarding how the lights work. Also, they had the pool heater on - which made the water super warm- so on a hot July day we would have liked the colder pool water. Overall, a great experience and we hope to visit again!

I paid for the pool to be working. Customer support Tiffany confirmed that the pool was working and changed me extra. When I arrived, the pool was not working; the toilet was broken, we were out of power for a few hours, and the hot tub water was black and oily. Customer support said they'd refund me for the inconvenience, but nothing so far. I do not recommend this property.
