Moonlight Mountain Retreat Woodworker's Masterpiece with Spa and Game Room

Very spacious, comfortable home high up a very steep hill with a gorgeous view of the mountain. Many places for a large family to sleep and 'get away from each other'. Saw coyotes on the property and nearby daily, so please be aware if you have small dogs....Keep on a leash at dawn and dusk. Good communication with owners/managers.

The house was furnished with everything we needed. So many bed options for our family. I could tell from the photos that some of the rooms had no curtains so I knew we’d be waking up at 7:30. It’s up in the hills above town. We played a lot of pool; that was a lot of fun. The deck and views were awesome. The hot tub was nice and clean and so peaceful at night. My husband accidentally left his tablet behind and they found it and sent it to us quickly for a reasonable price. Great house, great value, so peaceful.

Our group loved this cabin! The house itself is beautiful. All of the wood and tile is just lovely. It was very clean and the kitchen had all the tools we needed. Plenty of lounging/ sitting areas as well as dining spaces (there were two dining tables). The beds were comfortable and clean. The upstairs bathroom was gorgeous. What a treat to have fireplaces in several rooms of the house. We gathered on the deck a lot. To chat, have meals, enjoy the stunning view, and to use the hot tub. Definitely a highlight of the house.Families:We had kids ranging from infants - 12yrs old. Pack n plays fit in a couple bedroom closets which made bedtime & naps easy. There are no blinds or curtains in the windows of this house. We really enjoyed this (you’re surrounded by so much beauty), but it is something for families to note if they are used to dark rooms. Also, in the twin bedroom upstairs there are case windows that open. I really like these and think they add a lot to the space, but there are no screens on them & they are on the second story. This was a huge safety issue for us!The bonus room on the top floor was perfect for all the kids to hangout. And they all enjoyed wandering the property. The game closet was impressive. Communication was clear. Check out process was simple and clearly laid out in binder. (Thankful we didn’t have to strip beds before we left.)Overall we loved it here and hope to stay again. Highly recommend!

We had a lovely long weekend. Adrien was very attentive to our needs. He brought another BBQ and even found us 2 pool cue sticks.The windows could use some curtains to block the early morning sun.My adult children want to do this every year to celebrate my husbands birthday.It was a little difficult to find, the “ blue sign arrow” was placed at a odd angle so the turn was unclear.

Moonlight retreat was beautiful! It was already decorated for Christmas with a tree and all! The layout is quirky, in a good way! So much woodwork, really felt like we were in a cabin! We were super close to town, but you wouldn’t know it. Lots of hikes within a few minutes. The deck was incredible, comfy, and the views were great! Hot tub was wonderful and stayed hot! It was so peaceful and relaxing all around.A couple things to note, no curtains on most windows, so it’s bright, but beautiful to wake up to Mountain Views. Cabin road was steep and windy so we were grateful there was no ice or snow, otherwise it could have been tricky getting to the cabin. Overall, we would definitely recommend this cabin! We loved our time here!

House was amazing everything went great! Clean well stocked house!

We had a large family with 5 children. Everyone had a place to sleep and plenty of area to play. We cooked almost all meals and the kitchen, breakfast nook, and large dining room table were great. The property was fun -- climbing, hiking opportunities everywhere! We set up a telescope on the deck for the moon at night and the acorn woodpeckers during the day. We would definitely come back! Negatives: We tried to contact the property owner 3 times with questions and only got a response once. Also, we ran out of toilet paper on day 2 because no extra was stocked. We were reassured that some would be delivered, it wasn't, and we had to go to the store and buy some.

Went here with my book club and it offered the nature and serenity we were looking for. Expect the property manager contacts to potentially take a few hours to answer questions on the weekend - but overall they offered a straightforward check in and check out process and I appreciated their binder in the living room as a reference for house rules!

Nice home loved the views. Would have liked shades in the bedrooms, the road into the property is not good.
