MONKEY ISLAND! NEW DOCK !

Exactly what we were looking for, clean, comfortable, great access to covered patio and nice dock! Nice, quiet get away!

My wife and I stayed here and brought our boat and golf clubs. We played golf at Shangri La by boat and it’s right around the bend maybe a 10 minute ride. We did a little fishing and I got some good fishing advice from Scott and caught a few sand bass. Also, the cabin was perfect and we will be back again. If you have a taller boat with a tower like I do, the trees in the neighborhood are pretty low and they were a bit of a challenge but other than that, we had a great time.

Easy in and out access to place into house and in and out boat launch

We were looking for a place that was close to our brother and sister-in-law’s house on Monkey Island. This place was a five minute drive so it was perfect. The use of the place was great for our family of five and we all had a wonderful time using the kayaks and swimming and fishing around the dock and boat slip. The place could have been a little cleaner though. The ceiling fans throughout the home needed to be cleaned as well as the A/C vents, we didn’t use the back porch as the chairs and back porch were covered in cobwebs and needed to be swept, dishes in the dishwasher were dirty and we had to wash them before using them. Some of the dishes in the pantry were dirty also. The beds were comfortable and clean. We fought mosquitoes coming in and out the doors but I guess that is to be expected at the lake. All in all we had a good time at Grand Lake and created lots of memorable moments.

This property is all it is described to be! Plenty of room for our family of 5. The convenience of the boat slip/dock is the main reason we chose this property. We were able to place our boat in the slip and not worry about leaving it in the water over night. Safe neighborhood & quiet cove. The owners were very responsive. Property was clean and well stocked with all necessities. We hope to be back again next year!

This is the perfect lake house. Nice and spacious open floor plan with an awesome covered deck overlooking the lake. Very nice covered dock with new swimming ladder. We fished and swam frequently. Quaint little lake neighborhood perfect for our morning walks. The house was very clean and had everything we needed for a weeks vacation. Scott was an awesome owner and very pleasant to work with. We will definitely be staying here again!! We are sad to leave! Thanks so much Scott!!

We loved this property for our week at the lake. The cabin was just perfect, well maintained and everything worked great. The beds were all really comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed, plus it was super clean! We really loved the outdoor patio and dock. We spent much of our time hanging out in the water at the dock, fishing and chatting with friends on the patio. The owners were so friendly and helpful - we really enjoyed them.

We had booked our stay back in September hoping that the weather would be a little cooler than it was at the time. But with Oklahoma weather that it is well it went and turned off wet and cold. of course there was nothing Scott and Melissa could do about it. But the cabin was very comfortable and warm. We really liked the covered deck and one of the days we were there we did get to build a fire in the fire pit where we roasted hotdogs and enjoy the smell of the outdoors. On the days it rained we drove around the area and took in the sights, ate at some local restuarants and did some shopping. And sometimes we just kicked back on the couch and watched the lake or TV. The boat dock was really nice in the way they have it set up. Was planning on bringing our boat but they weather wasn't going to allow it. All in all we had a much needed relaxing time. Scott and Melissa were very helpful and we would definitely book with them again.

The location of the house was perfect and very close to water. Walk straight from the covered back deck to the awesome covered boat slip/swim platform/fishing dock all in one. House was clean and had everything we needed. Owners are easy to reach if needed, but everything was as described and did not need their assistance. Will definitely rent again if we make it back to Grand lake.
