Mom's Favorite Waterfront Cabin #4, Onalaska, Lake Livingston, Texas

This property was nothing like the pictures. There was NO water in front of, or anywhere near the cabin. The owner said the lake was down 3.5 ft., but never said there was no water at all in this lakefront property. For charging a high cleaning fee I would've thought the cabin would have been clean, the windows were filthy and the outside furniture looked like nobody had cleaned them off in ages. The property had a look of disrepair and neglect, torn canopies on the kids play structures and overgrown weeds around all the trees. If the place was cleaned up a bit and there was water it would be worth the price, but as is, not at all worth it.

Great weekend

Bernadette was our hostesses. She made our check in seamless and the cabin was clean and as shown in the pictures. I would recommend and we will return in the spring.

Great people that are very welcoming. It’s a little close to the FM road but you can block all that by sitting on the porch!

This is a beautiful property! The cabin was very clean, the bed very comfortable. Everything was as described. Plenty of places to fish, the owners were extremely nice and accommodating. We will definitely be back!

Nice and easy place to stay on Lake Livingston. Parking is right next to the cabin.

Everything was wonderful, cabin was clean and really cute. Bed was very comfortable. Road noise was a little bothersome, especially at night, but we picked up a fan at the Dollar General and problem solved. Overall a wonderful stay

cabin was clean and cute, everything we needed was there, bed was comfortable, ac worked great, camp hosts were very attentive without being intrusive.

Cabin was great. Spider webs all over the docks and boats.

This is the second year in a row (anniversary trip in the same cabin) we have come here since we discovered it. We had such an amazing time. The cabin had every thing you could need. We were able to cook our own food and bbq. Catch our own fish. Nice fresh air. Adequate lighting at night. The bed was super comfy. The owners are super friendly and come to greet us in public ! Check in/out process is super easy. Honestly I really hated to leave. I cannot wait until next year when we go back !!!!

The property owner was very attentive and very great at communication. The place is exactly what you see.

Don’t think anyone else was there but we so enjoyed the price and quiet. Host was amazing. Will be returning soon hopefully!

Nice quiet relaxing time

Description as described. Cabin was cute and comfortable. It rained during our stay, so not much fishing was done and the lake was bit low- no fault of the owners. However, the property was muddy from getting to and from cabin to vehicle. The owners very responsive and friendly.

Stay was nice, very quiet, restful, property could use some TLC and updating as well as updating online presence as well, more realistic views

We really enjoyed our stay. It was my husband and 2 dogs. There were other people on the property but it's so quiet, you feel like you are there alone. And although the county had a burn ban and the lake levels were very low, our host reached out the day of our arrival to let us know of the changes. Very cute cabin, clean, really nice parks nearby to go exploring.

Excellent hosts and great location. Just what we wanted, to be immersed in nature. Would book again.

Enjoyable

We had an amazing time. The cabin was really neat, with every amenity we could have thought about needing or wanting. Fishing was great. Caught a few catfish, a striper, and one fresh water drum. Loved watching the shad come in, and the cranes around the property. Plenty of outside chairs to laze around the outside. Very comfortable. Very Happy with our stay!! Thank you for having us. We will be back! ?
