Cozy, clean cabin with view of pond and surrounded by woodland. Close to Milo and Dover-Foxcroft for access to restaurants and supplies. Highly recommend this cabin and hope to revisit soon.
Amazing property, wonderful host. Such a nice time!
We loved our trip. Wonderful place to get away and embrace nature.
Cabin was exactly as advertised. Cozy and very clean. All amenities were there. Quiet and nice secluded area to stay. Really enjoyed it!
far from the maddening crowd. beautiful, private, rural setting. small, simple, clean and well equipped cabin. the lack of a full size oven may put some people off but there is toaster oven, hot plate and microwave. quite suitable for short stays. immaculate. bed was quite comfortable. cold weather slows hot water arrival to faucets but arrives quickly to shower. quite a nice stay. recommended.
Was exactly what we needed. A cozy cabin in the woods away from everything. We love it, would definitely come back again.
Very nice and quiet place beautiful sunset and sunrise hostess was very welcoming and friendly even made a bread
We had a great time staying at your cabin! It was cozy and just what we needed for our short stay. We appreciated you checking in on us when we arrived and after our hike.
Our cabins were ready for early check in and had everything we needed. Brenda was very helpful and knowledgeable about the area.
Friendly and informative proprietors. Property had a nice pond and was down a long lane in a secluded setting. We would like to go back someday.
I marked that the accuracy of the description was excellent but actually the description undersells the cabin! Always check with owner, and forgot this time - but the fridge is bigger than I thought; there’s a toaster and a toaster oven, and a microwave and hot plate! I wish we had checked in before we bought groceries because we could’ve bought more lol Love the electric fly swatters! Porch was comfy. Bed was cozy. And the internet is lightning fast!! Husband works in IT and he was super happy! Would definitely stay again!
We had a wonderful stay! The cabin was even better than we expected - so clean & comfortable, the property well-maintained & tidy. Brenda was fantastic from the first message I sent until we waved goodbye. She responded quickly to all of our questions prior to arrival, and once on the property, she was available if we needed something, without hovering around watching us. The view from the cabin was lovely! I highly recommend staying with Brenda on this beautiful property.
Looking for a place to unwind did we ever find it. Cabin was small and cozy fit all our needs. Owners were readily available for anything you might need but were not intrusive. If your looking to unplug we would highly recommend this place. Thank you Brenda and Pete looking forward to doing it again.
These cabins (5 total) are located ~1 mile into the woods down a dirt road. During the day there are numerous lakes/hiking trails all within a 1hr drive of the property. Located about 30min away, Tim Merill & Co. rents out both kayaks and fishing boats for a great day on Sebec Lake at excellent rates; kayaks are $35/day, boats are $70/day. At night you can see the stars clearly, providing you with a glimpse of the milky way. If you're lucky, you may even see a moose in this are like we did. There is also a communal fire pit with wood and fire starters provided. The mosquitos can get bad, but both bug spray and electric fly swatters are provided. Brenda was an excellent host and was able to answer all of our questions, as well as give us recommendations as to what there is to do/see in the area. Next time we make the 10hr drive to Maine, we'll be sure to book our stay at one of these cabins.
We had a wonderful time for our weekend getaway to attend a graduation. We were 4 adults and there was plenty of room. Our cabin was clean and perfectly suppplied. There are no stoves, but there is a microwave, charcoal grill, and a toaster oven. Our hosts Pete and Brenda were amazing!
