Fantastic stay! We came from the east coast to ski but also wanted to be near the lake. This cabin did not disappoint. We had three amazing dinners at Christy Hill, Sunnyside and Shadyside and were a short drive to Palisades. We savored long soaks in the hot tub looking up at the treetops and blue sky, like camping but better! Nancy checked in frequently to make sure we had everything we needed. Don’t miss this one!

We had the best stay at Brent & Nancy’s place. Everything was clean with great amenities. My daughter loved the hot tub and bunk beds. The place was one of the most comfortable homes we’ve ever stayed in Tahoe and we will likely only stay here in the future!!!

My husband, daughter and I had a wonderful two week vacation at the Modern Log Cabin in Tahoe Park. The location was perfect. We had a lot of great restaurants to choose from when we wanted to go out to eat. We hiked, biked and spent many days at the Tahoe Park HOA beach. The cabin was also perfect. It is located in a nice quiet neighborhood not far from the beach. The cabin was ready for us when we checked in, clean, cozy and well stocked with basic necessities. The bedrooms were a good size with comfortable sturdy beds. The modern kitchen was great for cooking on the nights we stayed in. The front deck/yard was a great space for eating outside, playing cards/games, reading or just enjoying nature. And the hot tub was a bonus, always hot and ready for use. Nancy, our host, was very welcoming. She was very easy to communicate with for check-in, check-out and if we had any questions.

Loved our stay in this cute, cozy cabin! it was clean and comfy, minus the old couch (or it would be 5 stars). The location is good too! just a short walk to the beach/park, market and cafes. The owner was very communicative and kind enough to provide an extra beach chair for our family. We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed here for 5 nights and really enjoyed this cabin! We went through multiple weather patterns during our stay—from days where it reached the 80s to snowing mid-day one of the days—so I can say the cabin is well-equipped for all Tahoe weather from our experience. Wonderful outdoor areas on the property and hot tub to relax. We also took advantage of the access to the private local beach which was amazing. We appreciated that the cabin was very clean when we arrived and we had no issues during our stay. Also, Nancy checked in before and during our stay, which was nice to know the owners were readily available if we needed anything. Will definitely consider this place for future trips to the area!

We absolutely loved our stay! Our hosts made it personal with a Happy Anniversary welcome letter. This was the perfect size for 2 people but also we would come back with our son and even a small family could stay comfortable. We played cards outside, the hot tub was relaxing after hiking! This cabin came fully stocked for in case you want to cook, lots of extra towels, and cozy blankets. We would definitely book this place again. Wonderful hosts and great location. It was a lovely anniversary weekend for us.

We couldn't ask for a better fit for our family. The right touch of luxury, mountain rustic, and efficiency. This was our second time staying here and decidedly our go to ski cabin going forward. We are so looking forward to coming back.

The cabin and location were amazing. Everything noted about the cabin was spot on. We arrived late in the evening and were impressed as soon as we walked in. The cabin is cozy and welcoming. We only had 2 people staying and the size was perfect. There was an additional bedroom that we never used. The kitchen is fully stocked with plates, pots, pans, and utensils. I feel bad that we only got to use the hot tub one night. It was amazing to sit there and enjoy the scenery. There are several restaurants that are in walking distance although we preferred to drive due to the ice and hills. Shadyside had amazing nachos and Fire Signal had a delicious breakfast and coffee. We are thinking of making this our yearly trip. The host was extremely helpful and very responsive to any messages or requests. I can’t say enough good things about this place. Would highly recommend.

Great cabin in a great location for accessing Palisades during the winter, and walking distance to market/Sunnyside and Shadyside restaurants. Cabin is well stocked with essentials and was perfect headquarters for a winter ski trip for the family. Communication was great and led to a wonderful trip.

We had an amazing stay here! The property was spotless, the location was perfect, and the beds were incredibly comfortable . It had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. My only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer. Oh and the hot tub was magnificent!

I stayed almost one week and it was a really relaxing, quiet and peaceful place to stay. A few improvement suggestions would be for the stairs & railing from the driveway to the ground be improved as I lightly sprained my foot going up and down this, update your business license, and perhaps workout a deal with cleaning staff to have them do the laundry instead of the customer. Other than this it was relaxing, peaceful and quiet and I felt protected with the neighbors watching me as well as all the lighting around the cabin. I also appreciate all the communication needed to have the reservations confirmed.

A fantastic rental in Tahoe Park! It was super clean, well appointed, you can feel that someone loves this place. The deck is spacious and location of hot tub is easy. With all the restaurants and easy access to Tahoe Park Beach Club - this place makes for a great North/West Shore stay.

Chateau Pines is a wonderful place to stay in the Tahoe City area. The neighborhood is peaceful and relaxing, with no road noise from CA 89. The cabin had everything you need. The hot tub is the star on the deck, so easy to use and relax often. The outdoor grill is immaculate. We went to the Friday farmers market in Tahoe City, and loaded up on fresh produce and seafood from Little Fish. We used the grill often for cooking all the fresh food. The lakefront association access was so convenient for paddle boarding. One of us brought an inflatable board, and paddled twice using the association dock, and twice down at Fallen Leaf Lake. Easily able to clean the board after use. The kitchen is well stocked with equipment, and we had everything we needed. Having a washer and dryer was great for a weeklong stay. The deck space is delightful. We enjoyed eating and reading outside. While we did not use the fireplace in August, it looks great, and would make the living room warm and cozy when chillier. Nancy our host was so helpful before and during our stay. She gave us lots of advice about the paddle boarding locations. I can’t say enough about the great location - very mellow. I would recommend Chateau Pines to family and friends who are heading to Lake Those!
