West Yellowstone, Montana
The Mini-Moose Cabin is a recently renovated/upgraded cabin which backs up to the Gallatin National Forest on a quiet dead-end street and only minutes from the West Gate of Yellowstone National Park. The neighborhood has a view of Lionshead Peak and the surrounding mountains of the Continental Divide. It has 750 sq ft of living space, including 1 Bedroom, 1 Bathroom, Laundry Closet with stacked washer/dryer, Large Open Family Room/Dining Room, Kitchen plus over 300 sq ft of covered side and front porches to enjoy the beautiful mountain views! This cabin is ideally suited to accommodate two adults with two to four children (Note: Groups including more than 2 adults require owner notification and approval prior to booking). Consistently rated favorably - e.g., "Great Cabin! The cabin was so cute, just the right size for us. It is decorated perfectly. The location is really close to the west entrance of Yellowstone, which was great!"
Decorated in a rustic mountain cabin theme with both new and antique furniture, fixtures and household items, the cabin features circle-sawn Douglas Fir flooring with knife-drawn edges, reclaimed barnwood wainscoting, knotty pine walls/and ceiling, wood burning stove, large windows throughout to enjoy the mountain and forest views, covered front and side porches, etc. And don't let the size fool you - this is a VERY comfortable open-spaced cabin with some of the best mountain views in the area!

The Mini Moose cabin was just the perfect fit for our trip. The Cabin was quaint, cozy ( loved the wood floors and great kitchen). Cabin was stocked with everything you need. It is a close drive to the West Yellowstone park entrance. Kevin, our host was awesome and very attentive. Thank you for the welcome info and all the great tips. A perfect couple cabin, private with an easy lock box check in and check out. Thanks!
Everything was excellent, it was just as we expected. Thank you so much!!
We simply loved our stay at the Mini Moose. It was close enough to Yellowstone to be convenient for park access yet also removed enough for us to feel isolated from civilization. The full kitchen was great and the kiddo loved the bunk bed.
Enjoyed the property. Was very clean. It was close to Yellowstone and very quit place. My dog also loved it.
Awesome cabin retreat for our Montana/Yellowstone fly fishing trip! Cabin was great, neighborhood was quiet/peaceful and a close drive to our fishing destinations. Would recommend!
We had a wonderful time staying at Mini Moose and exploring the Yellowstone area. Beautiful area with venues in Montana, Wyoming, and Idaho close at hand, including Yellowstone NP. Awesome! Cabin was thoughtfully appointed, clean, and well kept. Our host was great, answering questions as they came up and providing plenty of good info before we even checked in. Location was super, giving us the feeling of being in the woods without being miles in the middle of nowhere. Within a mile of the trail ride and rodeo venues! A wonderful stay with lots of great memories. Thank you!
Quiet, great cabin for the family. Great communication with the host. Clean cabin.
Very well appointed
The cabin is so cozy and just perfect for a couple especially if you have fur babies. We really enjoyed ourselves!
Fished, grouse hunted and toured the park. Kitchen utensils were a little sparse but manageable.
We really enjoyed staying at the Mini Moose Cabin. It had all the amenities to feel like home except it was a cabin in the woods with all the joy that being in the woods brings! We spent all our time in Yellowstone so the location was perfect, about 8 miles from the West Entrance. Kevin was extremely helpful in answering any questions we had. We will always remember our time spent at the cabin in the woods!
It was perfectly located -not in West Yellowstone but not too far out. It was super clean and well appointed. We highly recommend this cabin if you want a relaxing place to stay!
Cabin was perfect. Clean, easy to access, and close to Yellowstone. Great stay!
The cabin exceeded our wishes! It was the perfect size for myself and my husband. The cabin was fully (and I mean fully) equipped with everything that you would need for a stay. Kevin, the host, was easy to get a hold of and very responsive. The cabin was only 10 minutes from the west entrance of Yellowstone and 5 minutes from the town of West Yellowstone. I would highly recommend this cabin to future travelers. Cliff and Tammy George
We loved mini-moose!! The pictures did not do it justice. It was so much bigger than expected. Also loved the location. Make sure to go to the rodeo!
We had a wonderful time at this cabin in West Yellowstone. Check in was very easy as Kevin sent instructions via email then followed up via text to ensure we had the information. The cabin was extremely clean and so beautiful. It was the perfect spot to rest in the evenings from our long days fly fishing. I would love to visit in the winter to use the wood burning stove! We were impressed that even though the days were hot while we were there and the cabin didn't have a/c, it stayed extremely cool when we kept the windows open during the evening and closed them during the day. The location was great--close enough to town and the park that we could get to them easily, but also away from most of the crowds. I would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone visiting the area!
This cabin is great… it was clean, well furnished and super quiet location.
Very comfortable and has everything you need for a great vacation-nor far from Yellowstone.
