House was great. Private. Awesome view! Hot tub was nice. Great location, felt remote but quick trip to exploring, entertainment, and dining. Host was easy to work with and checked on us to make sure we were comfortable. We will definitely stay here again.

Cabin was dirty, hot tub had green alge growing inside, water was cloudy with a film. Dark out & did not notice until we got in. Dishwasher full from last people. I txtd Geri.Cleaners forgot & would send them over. NO, we didn't want to be bothered. Floor was sticky, mirrows wiped with dirty rags, dog nose prints on windows. Window seals broken & cloudy, pool cue tips broken and fall off. Beware!

This was the perfect place to explore the Smoky Mountains. Close to everything, but surrounded by nature with awesome sunset views! So peaceful and quiet you'd never know you're just minutes from Pigeon Forge!

Quick girls trip! Property is gorgeous, easy to get too. Nice quiet area. We enjoyed the Hot Tub and just relaxing all weekend. Geri called us to see if it was ok for maintenance to stop by and make sure our trip was going good. Very nice lady, enjoyed talking with her! We will definitely be back!

Everything was wonderful. We do suggest you put up some kind of privacy blind behind the hot tub. You can see the other cabin when in the hot tub.

It was a perfect stay! The house was exactly what was listed, the shower is really huge. Hot tub was perfect and really clean. Geri checked in with us and was friendly. It’s a great location and the view is fantastic.

My husband and I came up to celebrate our 40th anniversary! From the very first conversation I had with the host to the very last one I’ve had, she has been absolutely wonderful! Geri was very kind, very quick to answer questions, I did not have to wait long to hear back from her ever, and make sure that I understood everything about the home and amenities. The home was just as she had described. And the housekeeping was superb! It is the cleanest cabin I have ever stayed in. It was very close to town which we liked, but it was also secluded for privacy. We had everything we needed at the cabin and everything was stocked well. I can’t wait to come back. The views are just gorgeous. I recommend this home to small families or to couples looking for a quiet getaway. You will not be disappointed.

Had a very enjoyable long Thanksgiving holiday. Cabin was clean and comfortable with all the needed supplies in extra quantity. Could use more cereal size bowls. Beautiful views from the cabin. Geri even called inquiring about our stay.

This beautiful, cozy cabin was exactly as described and pictured. Just as promised, the view of the sunset was incredible. We loved that it was away from busy streets/areas. Even so, it was quick and easy to get to places in Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, etc.Our host, Geri, was great in sending us so much valuable information ahead of our visit. We really appreciated the list of favorite local restaurants. We try, when on vacation, to eat in places we can't find at home, but are never sure how to figure out what is good. The list she sent was a great guide.My husband and I had a great pre-holiday, quiet getaway. We had a wonderful, relaxing time here at Mystic View.

Our stay was wonderful. The TV in the guest room needs addressed. There were four of us there and no one could get the volume to raise from a quiet whisper. We were disappointed as we watch the news every night after going to bed.Our host tried very hard to guide fixing the problem to no avail. We still must give this home a five star as it was gorgeous.

This is absolutely a 5 star stay. I cannot even express the view that one will have! Not to mention, the host is so fabulous! I know we will be def be back and be staying at her places in our future!

We did not bring pets but I like the idea that it is pet friendly. If dog/cats were ever in this home you would never know it. Views are truly spectacular, no hyperbole needed. I was a bit disappointed that stairs were not mentioned in the particulars of the home because my friend is disabled and has trouble walking on any stairs but he was able to negotiate them given a few minutes extra time.

The location is near other homes, but secluded up a steep hill over looking a valley and the mountains.

The four day three nights birthday celebration getaway was amazing. I was able to have the privacy and the romantic mood I was looking for, to show my wonderful, amazing love of my life a fabulous time. We enjoyed the hot tub the beautiful cabin and just the relaxation of doing absolutely nothing.

Great view and great location!

The view from Mystic View was fantastic. It rained 3 out of the 4 nites we stayed but it didn’t matter because the outside deck was covered and we were able to sit out and watch the storms move across the mountains. Location was perfect, close to the parkway but hidden in the mountains. We had a small issue and contacted Geri the owner. She called us back immediately and thanked us for bringing the problem to her attention. The driveway is steep but is more intimating than it really is and was not a problem. We loved everything about the cabin and would like to come back next year. The cabin is pet friendly. We brought our dog Benny and he loved relaxing on the deck. Hot tub was very relaxing.

Why make a long review when all you need to know is that the beds were awful. The first one reminded me of the old spring made beds. I figured the other one cant be that bad.....Man was I wrong...I felt the memory foam when I checked the bed earlier. But that was a tease !!!! This bed was very hard and uncomfortable.I can sleep anywhere but not here.I will be very hesitant to try a rental again. Other things were disappointing but this was the big one

My wife and I had a great weekend in the Smokies at Mystic View! The house was comfortable and quiet, and the location is an easy drive from Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and Smokey Mountains NP. And the view from the deck was spectacular!

Me and my husband were on our honeymoon and we had a great time! The house was very clean, great view! Only flaw we didn’t get to use the big tub in the master room. (We couldn’t figure it out).

This cabin has a beautiful view, is in a convenient central location, and is overall accurate to the photos. Unfortunately the house was quite dirty, with a thick layer of dust on most surfaces. We cleaned a good bit but missed the headboard - my wife's face was so swollen when she woke up after the first night that she was uncomfortable taking any pictures at all on our 5yr anniversary trip. The master bathroom had a strong septic smell, so we only went in it to shower, but the showerhead needed to be replaced years ago and was caked in rust and limescale. I understand this is a rustic cabin but a basic showerhead is so cheap? We were also uncomfortable using the hot tub because of the white sediment settled in the bottom of it. The hill on the side of the house was littered with trash and cigarette butts, with a dirty sock on the walkway as we arrived. I saved up for a special romantic anniversary trip and while we tried to make the best of it, I feel like I wasted my money (674 total for 2 nights) and should have gone to a hotel. When the sign on the fridge says MY CABINS ARE NOT PERFECT JUST THE SAME AS YOUR HOME IS PROBABLY NOT PERFECT you know you're not the first either. I would upload pictures with my review if VRBO gave me that option. I don't have room to post my wife's whole review but her last line was It’s a shame because the cabin itself has so much potential, but I wouldn’t stay here again unless it was properly cleaned and maintained.

The property was good. The driveway was extremely steep. The ability to walk the dogs in an open area was very limited. We enjoyed the house. The jacuzzi needed cleaning as there was a lot of mold

The views are amazing. The cabin is very cozy and clean. We had a blast during our short stay.

We were in town for a wedding. The cabin was the perfect size for a few people and our dogs. Close to town, beautiful view.

Vrbo is not for us on this property. Reported early the next morning of our arrival that we had no hot water, shower handle came off in my hand upon having to get a freezing shower. (It was 17 degrees outside)Took three texts from me and my husband to actually get a call back from our Vrbo rep. We arrived on a Thursday and reported this on Friday. The good thing it was a breaker box issue, and we had water the EVENING of Friday. Then we had another issue had to do the breaker issue again reported that the microwave wasn’t working. I sent her a message after business hours. we were fixing dinner to find the microwave wasn’t working either. I got an auto reply that we could contact her Monday through Friday her during normal business hours. I sent her a message indicating that we would be leaving earlier than expected due to the conditions that I have reported previously. No response until a couple of days later at which time she sent me pictures of the windowsills which I indicated there was bugs in and she advised me that they were ladybugs and they would not harm me. I felt that response was unnecessary and that I did not need any further pictures or contact from this representative due to our experience at this VRBO. she is paid in full and I did not request any money back or banter from her. I’m sure she will do a rebuttal as she does in her previous reviews when someone simply tells her about a issue with this property. Pls do not text us! No interest in banter!!

We had a great time. The cabin was perfect for my husband, myself and our dogs. They had plenty of room to play and stretch out on the floor and nap. If the opportunity arises, we will definitely stay here in the future.

Mystic View was absolutely spectacular. The views and sunsets were amazing. I was allowed to bring my dog and she loved it. The deck had a gate so when I was out there my dog was contained. I would definitely stay there again!
