Midtown Riverfront 4 | Cozy + Pet Friendly

The cabin was wonderful, our family had a wonderful time. Now the hard part was finding out cabin. The paper work stated an address and win we Pinned the cabin location once we found it for the rest of our family to come, Google Maps and Maps on IPhone shower a completely different address. Overall, our stay was great.

It was everything we expected from online pictures. Rooms are a little too close together but otherwise it’s a great house. Wildlife was good too. Would stay there again.

The location of this property was great, however it had much to be desired. Check-in was 1-1/2 hrs late, trash was under the beds, hot tub didn't heat, TV wasn't hooked up properly and batteries were dead in the remotes.

This was the worst VRBO we have ever stayed in. Not very clean, the pullout bed in the living room was filthy. The remotes had no batteries, the hot tub did not get hot, not secluded at all, next door neighbor was less than 5 ft from front door. Will never stay here again.

Had a great weekend

There was plenty of space for all of our family members. We love the scenic views of the mountains and stream. There were even 15 elk that stopped by for a visit. We used the fireplace a few times and everything was very cozy and comfortable.

We enjoyed the stay. The beds were comfortable and the location was perfect. There were a number of problems with The amenities that we had to deal with. Needed Wood for fire at least a pile and charge if used or as a request when registering. Propane was out and should be full. Not enough coffee cups. One handle broken and repaired but falling apart. Not Enough Silverware for the cabin plus a few for cooking uses. Chair or love seat in the bunk cabin would be helpful. Mirror by sink in bunk cabin would have been nice. Extra blankets or throws TV not working in bunk room Hot tub not hot or instructions on how to correct. Lid was on Dishwasher does not clean dishes. The dishes get filmy and have to be washed by hand and drying required scrubbing to get the scum off. All inconvenient and for the price we paid and how the place is advertised, these things should not happen. I hope if we try to stay there again, things are better. You can’t beat the location

The property was nice and quiet. The property could have been cleaner dust and other things but that is a small thing. We enjoyed our stay and it was relaxing. Thanks again!

This cabin had everything we were hoping for. It was such a nostalgic location for my sister, brother and myself, as we all have fond memories of staying in a cabin by the river in Ruidoso (stream for those of you used to a big river). There is nothing like the sound of the breeze through the trees and the running water. The kids loved it too! It was so fun to watch them explore the way we did as kids. There was room to run around and explore. Plus, the hot tub and the ping pong table were a huge hit with everyone. Just enough space for 10 people. The layout is a bit odd, as two of the bathrooms were only accessible through the master suite. But, it worked perfectly for us. The bunk house is so cute and was perfect for the kids. Be forewarned, the water in Ruidoso is very hard. I would recommend bringing bottled water to drink and for the coffee maker. This isn't unique to this cabin. You'll find it in most locations in the area. Yes, the cabin is very close to the main road. You can walk to the downtown shops. My dad walked to starbucks each morning before the rest of us woke up. But it still feels remote and quiet. We were not bothered at all by street noise. We area already talking about how to plan our next stay at this great location!

We absolutely loved this trip!

We had a wonderful time while staying in Ruidoso. This cabin is conveniently located next to many stores and restaurants. The cabin itself is very well stocked with any kitchen items you may need although the dishwasher did not work very well. There are 4 cabins close together with one cabin almost attached to the cabin I rented. The people had small barking dogs and sometimes sounded as if they were inside our cabin. Next trip I am definitely looking for a more remote cabin. Overall a nice stay.
