Nestled among fragrant pines by the Rio Ruidoso, Midtown Riverfront 1 lets you get up close and personal with nature. Yet its proximity to downtown Ruidoso also enables you to walk to restaurants, shops and galleries with ease. This two-bedroom, pet-friendly cabin proves you really can have it all!

The bucolic beauty of Midtown Riverfront 1’s setting is matched by the rustic charm of its interior. Leather couches and an armchair ensure that there’s room for everyone to comfortably gather in the living area, and Western-themed decor adds to the relaxed, welcoming ambiance. Whether you’re watching a movie on the large-flat screen TV with cable, surfing the web via the free Wi-Fi, catching up on your reading or simply chatting with family and friends, you’ll feel far removed from your everyday routine—especially when you glance outside through one of the many windows and spy deer, turkeys and elk sauntering past.

Located behind the living area, the dining area includes a large, handsome, turquoise-inlaid wood table that easily seats six. When you’re not sitting down here for a meal, you can settle in for a game of Scrabble or Uno. Just behind the dining table is a breakfast bar that seats two. This is a great spot for setting up your laptop to catch up on emails or look up recipes—because once you see how well-equipped Midtown Riverfront 1’s kitchen is, you’re sure to want to get cooking. Along with a full array of appliances, cookware and tableware, the kitchen offers ample storage. You can stock up on groceries at the beginning of your stay, rather than have to run to the market every day, leaving you more time for hiking, skiing, fishing or gallery-hopping. For added convenience, there’s a washer and dryer just off the kitchen, so you can pack light. And, if you prefer to cook outdoors, feel free to take advantage of the gas grill on the covered deck. This home does have central A/C and heating to keep comfortable anytime during the year.

Like the rest of Midtown Riverfront 1, the two bedrooms encourage plenty of rest and relaxation. The primary bedroom has a handsome king-size Casper bed featuring My Pillows that you’ll be eager to sprawl out on, along with a TV for late-night viewing. The second bedroom includes an equally inviting king-size bed. Two more guests can sleep in the living area, where one of the sofas opens into a queen-size bed. The cabin sleeps six people in all—and a pet or two as well.

If you’re traveling with a large group, you can book several or all four Midtown Riverfront cabins; all together they can accommodate 28 people, perfect for a family reunion or other large gathering. Midtown Riverfront 1 is one of four cabins that share three outdoor hot tubs when renting the entire complex.

We mentioned that you can walk to downtown Ruidoso from Midtown Riverfront 1, and there’s plenty more to do nearby. You can drive to Grindstone Lake in five minutes, Mescalero Lake in 10 and Alto Lake in less than 15; all three are regularly stocked with trout. A number of golf courses, including Links at Sierra Blanca, are equally close. In a half-hour you can be at historic Fort Stanton, and Ski Apache is less than a 40-minute drive.

Whether you’re in Ruidoso to ski, fish, hike, explore the Billy the Kid Trail, hit the casinos or simply relax with family and friends in a serene, gorgeous setting, you’ll find Midtown Riverfront 1 has everything you need and want for the ideal getaway. Experience its pleasures for yourself; book your stay today!

Please Note: Ruidoso is a mountain town with snow and icy conditions during the winter. This can affect driving and parking conditions regardless of the property, driveway or roads. 4x4 or chains may be required during winter months to access your home.

They need to put address on the cabin, could not find. The entry code was different when we arrived, had to call to get new code.

Such a beautiful cabin. Perfect for my son and I. I loved that it felt private but was close to town and everything. Will definitely be staying again.

Pictures and description are deceiving! I never write bad reviews but I want others to beware. First, location is not “uptown Dallas” as advertised. The worst thing though was that the property smelled so strongly of marijuana that we only stayed one night out of four. The smell was all consuming. There was no mattress protector or top sheet on the bed and NO towels were provided. We had to go buy towels in order to take a shower! If you want to park inside the designated area you have to put down a hefty, although refundable, deposit for the opener! The kitchen was poorly stocked and there’s no way one could have made a meal there. I also saw a roach run across the floor and under the refrigerator (it sure does make one leery to walk around without shoes). There are no pictures of the outside of this place because I think that would deter guests from booking. Like I said, pictures can be deceiving. We stayed only one out of the four nights we booked. Wish I could get my money back, but lesson learned.

Property over all as good to us. It was clean and I liked the location. The little water creek was a bonus we would stay again.

Cabin was perfect and the creek in front was so relaxing. Road was a little rough getting in and out but we had a wonderful time and will definitely be back.

Our family stayed here for a long weekend and really enjoyed our stay. The unit was clean and as advertised. My daughter loved the river, which is just a stones throw from the front porch. And my wife enjoyed the shopping district that was within walking distance. I would recommend this little cabin. Warning: use the driving directions provided by the renter... gps did me no favors finding it.

I Booked this cabin for the hot tub. It was absolutely disgusting. Water was green and had a yellow ring of gunk around it, and it smelled like dead fish. (To the point you could smell it on the deck) Inside of the cabin was dusty. Cobwebs on all the light fixtures, and the sink had rotten food in the top of the garbage disposal that smelled HORRIBLE! Also the bathroom door knob was broken, both handles spin but the inside part never moved. (I got stuck in the bathroom within the first 10 min of being there) My husband had to come open the door with his pocket knife... I called condotel to complain first thing Saturday morning. The lady in the office offered to send someone to fix the bathroom door, and to call and check on the hot tub cleaning person, but they hadn't been able to get ahold of him for MONTHS! I told her the door wasn't a big deal since it was just me and my husband we could just leave the bathroom door open, but to please get someone on the hot tub. My husband had asked for a cabin in the mountains with a hot tub for his birthday weekend and he really wanted to be able to get in the hot tub, not to mention the you could smell it outside. She said she would call them and let me know. She NEVER CALLED ME BACK! I personally think if something isn't working, or currently available like a hot tub the listing should reflect that! I would have NEVER spent $800 for 2 nights in a cabin for a birthday weekend getaway with my hubs had I known the cabin & hot tub were not being maintained properly.

The cabin was clean on the inside, lovely location. Uncomfortable front porch furniture 2 small camp chairs. Hot tub was filthy. There was dog poop all over the grounds of the cabin. The management did finally get those issues resolved. There was no all purpose cleaner and little hand soap. I’d say most all of Ruidoso is not taking COVID serously so if you’re concerned I wouldn’t visit this town. Thanks
