McKenzie Cabin: A Cozy Romantic Updated Retreat with Mountain Views and Hot Tub

Quiet, great view, comfortable, clean. Great communication. Hot tub was ready for us upon arrival and it is well maintained. Good to Have washer and dryer in cabin so we packed light. Reasonable prices. Close to activities. Note: approximately a half a mile of the road to the cabins is a one lane mountain road. They have a fence along this portion of gravel road on the steep side. Would not want to pull camper or any trailer on the last half mile. Great place to stay!!

I will definitely be going back! I felt like the cabin was slightly larger than I thought it would be by the pictures. The porch was so peaceful! We had so much fun! It was super clean and private. The picture was a view from the back porch.

Was a nice little older cabin and priced accordingly. The living room furniture was old and very “so so” at best. The rocking chairs are older wooden ones that are uncomfortable and do not rock smoothly so wasn’t able to sit in them for long. But the cabin was clean and cheap. Only had one large bowl so if you plan on cooking take some storage containers. No kerig coffee pot so take grounds not pods. The tub stopper was broke so didn’t get to use the tub long as the water drains. The hot tub was nice and clean and if looking for a budget friendly cabin then def would be worth staying at if you plan accordingly

I'll be kind and simply say a pressure washer on the outside would do wonders and removing the Christmas wreath (it was a June rental) would let me know this cabin gets weekly attention. The exterior had spider webs all throughout. And yes, I killed a couple of bugs on the inside. I get it... the cabin is in the woods, but maybe have an exterminator do a quarterly spray inside and out. The cabin is in a great location for seclusion, but its past-due for a make-over and update. Not what I thought I was getting after arriving. This particular cabin has a lot of potential, but needs a few days or couple of weeks updating and cleaning. I would rent again, but only if it received a much needed flip.

Absolutely beautiful Cabin. My husband and I decided to stay two nights there. It was the best decision ever.

The cabin was clean. The furniture was comfortable. The fireplace worked great with two nice steel doors on the front to keep sparks out of the cabin. It was fun to go to the store down the hills and go shopping. There was enough amenities around the cabin to get the things we need to stay and eat inside. The shower was extremely hot perfect water. The thermostat was easier to work the notes they left for a fireplace not they have the air on or perfect and understanding the back porch had a nice view. The smoke detectors worked perfect. I know this because I burnt the bacon, but we opened both door doors to get some air through the House and the alarm went off very cozy and private did not anticipate it to be so good. Would love to come back thank you Andrew and LEN.

Let me tell you about this adorable cabin that had a porch with rocking chairs with a view of the mountains!!! Not only that…. There was a real fire place. Everything needed to build the fire was provided!!! We didn’t use it , but “yes” there was a hot tub too! This was my perfect getaway.

The cabin was absolutely perfect for the two of us. We celebrated our wedding anniversary and couldn't have picked a better place to do so. The drive up to the cabin has amazing views with an easy drive up. The bed is nice and comfy and the bathroom has plenty of space. It had a wonderful kitchen that was well equipped. The porch was a perfect soze with 2 rocking chairs and the best hot tub ever. The grill was a great touch and plenty big, there was wood and charcoal to choose from. The fireplace kept us noce and warm. It was central to local grocery stores and cute little restaurants. There was plenty to do locally around the cabin no more than 30 mins away. This was by far our favorite stay and our favorite cabin. 10 out of 10 on our stay! We will definitely be back! Thanks for hosting us!

Cozy little cabin up in the mountains. Secluded but still close to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Cabin was well maintained. Amazing view of the mountains from the back porch with hot tub! Definitely recommend!

My fiancé and I loved our time at the cabin. The views are exceptional. It’s a perfect stay in the hot or cold and provides a welcoming place to unplug.

Great little spot with a great view!

The location was our favorite thus far. Secluded w privacy, yet still very close to shopping and food. Cabin was simple and charming with a homey, comfortable vibe. We tend to prefer a softer mattress, so I’d bring a light topper for cushion if you’re like us.

I unfortunately am not a picture taker. The main we had was how dirty the vents were. Also, not a negative remark. Get a toaster.

Honestly you can't really ask for more, but this cabin has a ton more to offer. It's cozy, has a ton of history in the guest books, and a straight shot to the Smokys.Loved it.

We loved absolutely everything about this cabin.booking check in and check out were simple and the cabin views r to die for .absolutely no complaints.the drive up is tricky but nothing too bad .gets a little narrow but the destination made it all worth it .will definitely recommend to friends and family and willbe back in the future

We had an absolutely wonderful time. The cabin had all we could need to truly enjoy Thanksgiving as a romantic getaway. The views of the mountain while in the hot tub are just priceless. Bonus is the very comfy bed so I slept like a baby! Thank you for a great stay!

It was a wonderful cabin. A great place to relax but easy / close enough to make it to the entertainment and shopping.

Not as nice as we hoped. View of mountain but not of sunset or sunrise. We liked it was secluded but the road wasn’t well maintained, a fall tree was not fully cleared and could scratch a vehicle. Bed was clean but that mattress is not for anyone with back issues. Bathroom vent dirty almost looked like a mouse nest.

Overall, the stay was quiet and offered an amazing view. The bed was super soft! The hottub was nice. The only thing I had an issue with, and this is just my personal feelings, was the road up was narrow. I have never driven on such a road before. So i was a little nervous. However, everything else was amazing.

Wanting a quick getaway after traveling for a funeral this cabin is just what the doctor ordered. Very peaceful and relaxing. The cabin was great. Only thing I would change is maybe add a few extra pillows. Everything else was perfect!

The stay was lovely. The check-in process was super easy and there were instructions left around the property to make it even easier to take care of the place. We will definitely be staying here again.
