Mostly Porch at Massanutten Resort was exactly what my family and I needed for our week away. It was a convenient location to reach Shenandoah NP and Luray Caverns. Upon arrival the steepness of the driveway was a bit much for our cars but we managed. We loved having this cabin as our base and walking around and using the amenities at the resort was a plus. The hours of the mini golf and adventure park were a little inconvenient but that has nothing to do with the property. The property manager was very responsive when we needed to contact her.

We had a great stay. Host is courteous and responsive. Beautiful property.

We had a wonderful time! Really enjoyed the views and it not being far from the ski lodge. Sitting by the fire, playing cards, playing pool, great memories were made. The place was clean and very inviting. Would highly recommend.

My family enjoyed our stay at Mostly Porch. The location was perfect for our skiing and snowboarding, the house had everything we needed, the pool table was a fun bonus and Lori was responsive to questions.

We just celebrated Thanksgiving in this beautiful house. It is truly a beautiful house! It is in great condition and well maintained! All of the amenities provided worked great! The host was very responsive to any concerns I had and her response time was fast! Thank you for allowing us to stay in your lovely home! We look forward to staying here again!

Had an amazing stay! I've stayed in a few different large houses in the area, and this one really takes the cake. Great parking situation, lots of space if your group is bringing many cars. Great porch, mostly porch! We had a great time enjoying the porch swings and chatting over coffee in the morning. The beds were numerous and spacious and the kitchen amenities were perfect for us. Would definitely stay here again!

Cabin was great, especially this time of year. Clean mountain air, but not too cold. Warm and cozy, with a great kitchen for making meals.

We loved our two night getaway in this cozy log cabin on the mountain side. It was well-maintained with lots of extra personal touches that made us feel right at home. One of the highlights was watching the sun come up over the mountain in the mornings from a perfect view on the porch that included colorful fall leaves and four deer browsing in the yard.

I have been renting through VRBO for the past 30 years, mutiple times per year, so I have experienced many rentals.Mostly Porch was in an excellent location for visiting Shenandoah National Park - which was beautiful, and for doing other things in the area. We went to Luray Caverns, Brix & Columns Vineyards, Monticello and we took a lift ride to the top of the mountain within the resort. We also did a very nice hike right within the resort. The house was lovely in design but provided absolutely no extras. There was one towel and one washcloth on each bed. No linen closet with a few extras so you did not have to run the washing machine so much. One comforter per bed, no extra blankets, no spices, etc. Most of the homes we have rented provide their guests with a few extra towels, blankets and other conveniences and those things make you feel more welcome. The other issue we had with the rental was that there were cameras that made us feel like we were being watched and the owner sent me an email indicating that her neighbors keep an eye on the house and report to her if there are any parties. We are responsible retirees and the tone used felt very unfriendly. On the plus side, there were lots of games, toys and books available, as well as a pool table, so if you are traveling with children there are lots of things available for them to play with on a rainy day. The sectional and the gas fireplace in the great room made for a very cozy evening after a day of hiking.

The property was in perfect condition and very clean. It had everything we needed for our group of seven. The location was great and very accessible to all of the amenities of the resort. We used the pool pass twice during our stay - it was very much appreciated!

Very enjoyable experience, the home was clean, very spacious. Owner was available if needed, very attentive to our needs which were greatly appreciated.

My husband and I needed a place with plenty of room for our son, nephew, and 2 friends to go with us. This was the perfect fit. Everyone had their own bed and we weren’t on top of each other. Close to plenty of activities and attractions. We would consider this again if we go back.

This is such a gorgeous home. We really enjoyed our stay. So spacious and clean. The location is excellent too. We wanted to be close to the mountains to go hiking and it was perfect.

Absolutely beautiful neighborhood and very quiet! A little hiccup when we first arrived. All the bath towels and wash cloths were folded nicely and left at the end of the beds, but they were all damp. Some were wet enough, the comforter was also wet. We did not know this of course until 9:30 that evening, so we had to throw all of them in the dryer before we could take showers. An upstairs bedroom did not have blinds or curtains, but we found the blind in a closet. We temporarily got it up that night, but notified the owner a handy man would need to come after our trip to fix it. The owner was quick to respond and offered to send someone, but at that point we wanted to go to bed. Overall, the cabin was okay. The bathrooms were clean but there was no counter space unless you were in the primary bath. The remainder of the house could have used some extra cleaning. Furniture was a little outdated and no noise cancellation whatsoever. No doubt about it when someone was up and round at night or in the morning, you heard them. When we were leaving and took the sheets off the primary bed, we realized the box spring had collapsed on one side of the bed, so not very comfy. Again, the owner was very nice and super responsive, but the cabin needs some work. For the price we paid, we were very disappointed.

The cabin is absolutely beautiful. You can't go wrong staying here. The cabin is very clean and very quiet, makes for a peaceful retreat. We will be staying here again.

The space was actually bigger than it looked online! The kitchens had all the cookware that you could need but you do need to remember to bring spices and such ( my fault) The upstairs beds are very comfy and the pool tableIn the basement is a great way to pass some time

Very relaxing, loved the mountain views. Host was Very responsive. Would Definitely go back. Would suggest lighting up the front door better as we arrived at night and it was dark to see checking in. Back porch lights were mostly dim and some not working. Host is very responsive im sure it would be handled. Back glass doors were dirty with smudge marks and dog drool. Cob webs in some areas of the ceiling.

We had a wonderful stay! The house was exactly what we needed — comfortable, clean, and in a great location. We loved relaxing on the porches and watching the deer in the mornings and evenings. It was close to golf and all the activities we wanted to do. Communication with the host was easy and smooth. We would absolutely stay here again!

Exactly as pictured! All of us fully enjoyed our stay. Sitting on the porch feels magical, and this is during the colder months (our trip was in March). I can't imagine how wonderful it must be during the summer and fall! We totally recommend.Host was very responsive and a pleasure to communicate with.

This property was awesome in location,view and offered easy access to multiple places. MInor issue with some lighting and bedding but otherwise it was amazing and we plan to stay there again.

Beautiful cabin! Great location. I took my teenage daughter and four of her friends, they enjoyed the activities Massanutten has to offer. We will definitely come back.

This was our families first time in Massanutten and we (all 7 of us) were incredibly happy with the home and amenities! The home is positioned so you feel part of the rustic scenery. Each of us felt comfortable and had plenty of room to spread out and enjoy quiet time off of the slopes. After a cold day out skiing the fireplace was wonderful to come home to. Host was attentive and responsive when I had questions. We will return in the future!

Our son graduated from JMU over the weekend and this was a wonderful spot to stay for the weekend. We played pool and foos ball (not sure how to spell it) and lots of food!! Highly recommend!!

Beautiful home nestled in a wooded neighborhood. Very clean, plenty of kitchenware, lots of porches. We were kind of in and out a lot and it would have been nice to just sit and enjoy it a bit more. Maybe next time!

This was a great place to stay! It was close enough to JMU for us to enjoy our campus visit while also giving us a place to kick back and relax and enjoy some downtime. All of our expectations were met or exceeded by this home. It was clean, comfortable, and in a beautiful area. The property owner was quick to respond to messages. The kitchen is well stocked with cookware and dishes. We saw a lot of deer while driving in/out of the resort area.
