Marilee Cottage - Cozy Cabin by Unicoi State Park

The cottage was quaint, cute and well equipped. It was spacious for our party of 5, 2 adults and 3 kids. We loved that is was all on one level, perfect for my mother with mobility issues. However, front of cottage was very dark at night when returning from the day. Even with the porch light on it was difficult to navigate. Front security light did not work. It was repaired while we were there but it was still quite dim and sensor didn’t function properly. The pool table and games were a huge hit. Would definitely stay again.

The property was excellent and suited our needs perfectly. TV in the bedroom would have been nice. The entry way from the main road needs to be repaired. Too much of a dip and my wife’s mobility scooter carrier was dragging on the ground.

Cozy getaway

Quiet little place and would definitely stay again. Furniture could use a little upgrade but it was fine. One thing I didn’t like is, I guess smoking is allowed in the screen porch and definitely smells of cigarette smoke so we really couldn’t enjoy the back porch. Other than that it was a great stay.

Very comfortable cabin that was decorated nicely and made our Christmas week extra special! Thanks for the pretty tree and other holiday trimmings!

The distance of the cabin to downtown Helen and local sites was the reason we chose it. The cabin offered two king beds, two full baths, a pool table and large screened in porch to enjoy nature up close. The cabin did appear to be well kept, clean and the kitchen was properly stocked.

Third time here, loved it as much as we did the very first time. Location is great! Easiest check in and out as well as communication!

We had a great experience. The cabin was very clean and cozy and the property management communicated very well during the process.

Every thing was clean and nice , except dishes where dirty had to rewash and dishwasher was not properly drain, smelled so i ran a cycle to clean, but over all i will rent again.

Just what we needed! One level, cozy, plenty of games, space to play! Large open living area so that the garlands could l be together with the adults! We all loved playing pool! And, the nightly s’mores by the fire pit! And, the easy access to Helen. Great time!

The 2 bed 2 bath Marilee cabin was perfect for our trip to Helen and Unicoi. We had 4 adults and a toddler. We loved the fireplace and back patio also the beds and pillows were excellent compared to others we've been to. The driveway can be tough and may require a 4 wheel drive or SUV as it is STEEP and can get icy The house felt very homey and we enjoyed the pool table and VHS tapes.

Cozy little place in a good location for several towns.

Was a great stay had everything we need and more,fully equipped kitchen,back screened in porch with grill fitpit outside. Communication was top notch easy check in,comfy beds will be back.

The cabin was great. We had a very short stay. We enjoyed all the Christmas decorations and shopping in downtown Helen.

The cabin is beautiful. When walking in, it reminded me of my childhood staying at our family cabin. We were hoping to use the fire pit but rain prevented that. The fireplace was warming. Attractions were close by. There were pamphlets and maps in the cabin to aide in getting around. The list on the refrigerator of restaurants and stores was a great help. The pool table was a bonus entertainment. Plenty of board games were provided.

We had a wonderful sister’s weekend at the cottage. Very clean and had enough utensils, pots and pans for us to cook with. We loved sitting on the screened porch listening and enjoying quiet nature all around us. We played pool into the night enjoying ourselves. Very close to the state park where we hiked and saw Ruby Falls. Thank you for sharing your cottage with us!

We really enjoyed our stay here it was clean and neat and the cabin itself was just very beautiful! Definitely gonna stay again!

We enjoyed the cabin. The pool table was a nice to inch for our teens.

As Always had a wonderful time in Sautee area we go 3 to 4 times a year and are Never Disappointed!!! Cabin Very nice clean and all we needed for a wonderful stay!! Thank You for Sharing Your Cabin With Me and My Girls!!!
