The cabin was great! The view of the river was outstanding and so was the fire pit. It was an easy hour to Shenandoah national Park, which is what we were visiting mostly. Also, Luray is lovely.

This was the best spot for our family to get away and relax. Spent a lot of the time outside enjoying the river.

We had a wonderful stay! The house was super clean and well stocked. The beds were really comfortable. The owner was responsive and helpful. The river is absolutely beautiful!! We used the kayaks and canoes each day and enjoyed the large firepit. We also loved the screened back porch which makes you feel like you are in a treehouse. Thanks for a great weekend!

My friends and I had a fantastic weekend at this charming waterfront property. The screened-in porch was the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the beautiful view, which quickly became one of our favorite parts of the stay. The kitchen was well-equipped with all the tools we needed to cook and enjoy meals together. Cesar was incredibly responsive and kind—he promptly answered any questions we had and even had an extra bag of charcoal delivered, which was a thoughtful touch. We truly appreciated the hospitality and would love to return!

House was clean and comfortable. , basic amenities. Nice distance away from city for quietness. Was disappointed with fire pit by river, was looking for to using but all the cars were complete rot. Would have broken if you tried to sit on so we didn’t even go down there.

Nice river view and a nice size porch, central air conditioning was great, nice size rooms, owner and property manager was great, only downfall this was the only vrbo property i used that requires you to drive a mile away so you can put your garbage in a dumpster

Overall this location was beautiful, clean and comfortable. The only downside was construction happening at the properties to the left and right that sort of made for a less peaceful weekend escape from the city. No control over that and we still made the absolute best of it. The river access was fun for the kids and we all loved being able to hang as a family by the fire pit at night. 10/10 would recommend And book again!!?

Loved this property. My girls and son-in-law and I love to kayak and fish. The property location is perfect. Close enough to Luray to grab all your food and essentials but far enough to enjoy seclusion and privacy. The beds were very comfortable and there was plenty of room for the 4 of us. The fire pit was perfect and the river and fishing was excellent. There is easy access to the river. We had so much fun and the property owner communicated well and we felt comfortable with all the directions and information. We have no complaints. You won't be disappointed! Can't wait to go back.

We had a wonderful time in this riverside house. As stated, there are a lot of stairs but the trade off is a spectacular view. We took advantage of the canoes, kayaks, and firepit and grilled out for dinner. We drove in to Shenandoah for a day of hiking and spent tbe rest of the time relaxing. We were able to see bunnies, deer, and tons of fireflies. Only negative would be the sleeper couch is not the most comfy but the kids didn't care one bit. Thank you for sharing your home!

Our 5-day stay on the banks of the river celebrated a family milestone in comfort and beauty. The cottage was spacious with multiple dining areas (2) and gathering areas (4) both inside and outside. All the appliances served us well, and the beds were comfortable. We appreciated the quiet neighbors and no outboard motors on the river. Having kayaks and canoes on the property (no need to rent) was a real highlight. Two unfavorable aspects: the cottage could have used a beginning-of-the-season deeper cleaning (porch walls showed spray marks that would have been easy to remove; debris around windows and doors); and small maintenance tasks are needed (flooring split, screen door malfunction, blinds in small bedroom). In other words, just a few hours of work would have yielded a 5-star review!
