Kali was amazing and so helpful! The creek and trails made it so you didn't even have to leave. Only down side is it is a long way out and difficult to navigate there.

Our family takes a fall family trip annually and this year we were extremely happy with the Chestnut Lodge. There was something for all ages, we played outdoor games, played in the water, had pool tournaments, relaxed in hammocks or on the porches. The beds were very comfortable, the wntire family is requesting we come here again next year. Loved it!

Property was beautiful. Check in was easy. Kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook several meals. House was spotless and beds were really comfortable. Loved the house, we had 10 people and it was spacious. The cabin host was very helpful. This is definitely on our go back to list.

Our family's week at this home was the best we've had in a long time! It was beautiful, restful and peaceful, and full of adventure. The house was suited for a large family and had most everything we had need of. Kali, the property manager, was quick to respond if we had questions or needs. We will return!

We had a group of 7 including me and were staying in town for some of the famous roads such as Tail of the Dragon and Cherohala Skyway. This was a reasonable distance from them and the neighboring town. While the road to get there is gravel, it wasn't anything the cars couldn't handle. Very scenic and plenty of space for the cars. Would come back in a heartbeat.

We had the most amazing time at this beautiful property. Words can’t describe the beauty of this place. Every detail was perfect and thought out. I would highly recommend this place for anyone wanting to connect with nature. We never left the property once we arrived. We will definitely be back.

We stayed for 5 days. Seamless check-in. But the address was 1 number off. GPS had trouble getting us. But it was worth the trip. The pictures don't do it justice. We will be going back next year and renting 2 cabins for more family to come with us next year. Its a great place to leave the day to day behind. Thanks for letting us stay.

Everything was awesome. We loved it all. Beds were great, kitchen had everything we could possibly want, the fireplace and fire pit was awesome too. We rode over 700 miles during our week and enjoyed every minute of our time. Will be back again. Thank you for letting us all stay there.

We were aware of a gravel driveway (on motorcycles) but did not expect 5 to 7 milles. Listing should state you need to bring your own coffee and laundry detergent. House was wonderful just wish a little more transparent. I maybe should have asked more questions.

If you are looking to disconnect from the everyday rat race and stay in a mountain paradise this place fits the bill. Our family of 7 adults and 3 dogs had the best time ever. Not what you want if you need a lot of screen time but if you are looking to enjoy hiking and beautiful drives. This is it The creek at the lodge is one of the prettiest we have ever seen. We all had a great time together but there is plenty of room to spread out. We will definitely be back soon

The home and apartment were spacious yet cozy and was the perfect setup for our extended family. Everyone had their own space to sprawl out and get comfortable. We loved the open layout of the living room & kitchen area to cook and socialize. Our favorite part of our stay was the yard and creek! Although it rained for a few days, we spent plenty of our time outside under the carport relaxing and watching the rain come down. It was beautiful! We loved our stay and cannot wait to come back!!

Our family had a wonderful time at Chestnut Lodge. The huge back yard gave opportunity for lots of game time for the whole family. The children loved exploring around the creek. The site host was very quick to respond to the few issues we had while we were there. It should be noted that it is a 30 minute drive into town to the grocery store. We cooked all of our meals at the house. The pans were actually good quality and didn’t leave half your meal stuck to the bottom. There was also an extra refrigerator downstairs which was needed for 3 families. Snowbird Creek was about a 20 minute drive to some good fishing holes. We caught enough trout to have a fish fry one night. If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful stay in the woods, we would highly recommend this place. Just remember, it is in the woods by a creek so don’t be surprised if you run into some of the local critter residents that make their home there as well.
