Luxury Log Cabin on Lake- Sleeps 12 with boat dock & ramp

We were impressed with the VRBO listing, but actually being there surpassed our expectations! A beautiful home in a great location that is roomy and spotlessly clean is always a plus.

Beautiful cabin with a great view of the lake. Plenty of ducks to watch. The home internet is extremely slow if that is important to you, but wasn't really an issue for us. The main floor bathroom produces plenty of hot water; be warned that excessive steam when opening the door will trigger the fire alarm. The upstairs has a bathroom with a tub built for two...but the hot water is not sufficient to take advantage of it. There is a shower that worked with the amount of hot water provided.Not a perfect place but we enjoyed it and would certainly stay again.

Nice place. Very large, has a pool table downstairs, along with a table for gathering to eat and play cards. Great views of the water. We brought our two dogs and there was plenty of green spaces to walk them around. I would be careful as the neighbors had a dog that occasionally was loose. It never did anything of concern but we didn’t let the dogs get too close. Had a few small issue but when we told the property owner they responded quickly to resolve. Would certainly go back.

We had stayed at this property in the past, and wanted a place that was known. Our last experience had challenges due excessive rain, but the manager was quick to react and take care of the issue (with our help) for our stay. However, this stay had inexcusable issues. The house was not very clean, Pet owners were the previous renters and the house had not been cleaned well (or at all) after their stay. There was pet hair on the area rug, and throughout the house. It was clear the bed sheets had not been changed, as there was pet hair in them, and one room had a bonus pair of men's underwear between the fitted and flat sheets of the bed. We were very disappointed (and grossed out). We stayed up late washing linens and remaking the beds. When these issues were brought to the attention of the manager and owner, excuses were all that were received. Understanding that the manager had a family emergency the week prior to our stay. However, the handling of our concerns was poor at best, even with the owner. We were told that the sheets had been changed, but clearly they had not been, or dirty sheets were used. We did finally receive a minimal refund. It was not enough, but at least we did not have to pay for a cleaning fee, since the house had not been cleaned prior to our stay. I have never written a negative review, but I believe our experience warrants it this time.

The cabin was beautiful and we had a wonderful time. We were on a girls trip with 7 ladies and it was plenty big enough for all of us.

It was perfect for 4 couples wanting to enjoy a getaway with good food and great horse racing! Plenty of room to visit. Sitting on the deck in the evening overlooking Lake Hamilton was great!

We really enjoyed our vacation at this property. We will be back in the future.

The home is beautiful. Very roomy, we had 7 adults and our dog. Three of the seven being total shower hogs. There are three,3, count them 3 full bathrooms with each having their own hot water tank. First place ever where someone didn’t wind up having to take a cold shower!

Hands down ... The best place for a weekend getaway. We did a fifty seven year old birthday party.So we literally played games.Slept eat and went shopping.... And honestly, I would have been fine with sitting on the deck, drinking coffee, reading my book.Looking at the lake the entire time. The cabin is absolutely amazing.Now I want to go back in the winter when it's snowing.So I can just see it out.That huge window. It was literally perfect. The beds were comfy.There was plenty of room for everyone.The kitchen had everything you needed.The pool table, the fire pit all of it ....five star

Had a great stay in the cabin. It was perfect for our family space wise. Three bathrooms and lots of play space worked out well.

We had a blast at the property. We liked that it was directly on the water and that there was a boat slip with shade to sit under while watching the kids play in the water.

This cabin is the perfect place to stay on the lake! My family loved everything about it!! Very clean, beds were comfortable, right on the water, and my grandson loved all the wildlife mounts!

Large, clean property with plenty of amenities. Back deck and lake-view were amazing. And the large windows still allowed the view when the weather turned chilly.Although we stayed as a single family, there was plenty of room for one, or even 2 additional groups spread across the 3 stories of the cabin.

6 of us stayed at the property and attended the races. Property was clean and very roomy for 6 people… Nice deck as well. Loads of taxidermy everywhere in the house….I enjoyed them but, definitely had a bit of a hunting lodge vibe.

We had a great stay at the cabin for a Spring Break trip. The house was wonderful and had plenty of space for two families. The kids enjoyed fishing off the dock and the large yard to play. Served our families well and was close to everything we wanted to do in the Hot Sprrings area.

The cabin is easy to find, and a very nice location. I think the pictures online don’t do it justice. It really is nice. The mounts throughout are really cool, along with the photos of who got them. It’s very roomy. Enough so that the family can spend time together but also spread out when needed. Did I mention 3 bathrooms! All three showers could be going at once and no one was left in the “cold.” We would absolutely stay again!!
