Stayed Sep 12, 2025The cabin was nice and comfortable for our group of 11. Directions we were provided to the property were somewhat confusing. Things took a shocking turn as we were packing up to leave and found a rifle underneath one of the beds. Fortunately, none of the children in our party stumbled upon this during our stay. I have to assume this is the property owner's firearm but can't imagine anyone would be careless enough to leave a gun in a property they are offering as a short term rental. Is housekeeping not cleaning/vacuuming under the beds? This kind of oversight is appalling.
