The place is lovely and my family had a great time. However— When we got to the cabin, one of the rooms doesn’t have bedsheets on. Not long after, two people came in saying that there was a “mix up” and they have not cleaned the cabin yet. Also, this is our first time renting a cabin where we had to do the laundry as well. We’ve been to other cabins where we only had to throw out the trash, then we do the dishes for courtesy.

Absolutely loved this home. I am not a fan of mountain driving but the drive wasn’t bad and was worth it. We enjoyed having the fire going every night as well as the large space for all to enjoy. Duck Creek has great food locations as well.

This is far from “Luxury” as marketed. It is in need of a deep cleaning. There was so much dust buildup on the TV stand I could write in it. The basement smelled like dog. I understand they’re gonna be spiderwebs because it’s built in the middle of trees, but there is no upkeep on the landscaping you’re walking through overgrown brush to get down to the fire pit. The kitchen faucet leaks unless you figure out how to turn it off a specific way. Inside of the drawers was filthy. The couch was uncomfortable.

First off wonderful hosts. Read their profiles and you will be proud of them. We came unprepared for the warmer weather that was during the daytime. Without air conditioning baby had hard time falling asleep. Our problem not host. Checkin was easy. Kitchen facilities were nice .just bring lots of food if you are going to eat in. With lots of different renters... items wear out. Just let the host know so they can replace for the next renters.wifi access was very easy and strong. Lot of channels on tv. Did not see any deer at property which we were hoping for but did see them driving around. Not noisy or too dusty. Not a place to stay if you want tolders to run around outside as too it is pretty steep walking around. Beautiful place and want to thank the candle makers.

We have stayed at several cabins in the Duck Creek area over the past 10-12 years, and this place was definitely one of, if not the best. There were plenty of rooms, and the layout was perfect. My husband and I stayed in the master bedroom upstairs, which has an attached bathroom. Our older kids stayed on the main floor, and also had their own bathroom, and our teenage kids stayed in the basement in their own space and bathroom. The boys were super excited to play video games in the basement during our downtime. My husband had to work one of the days, so having the desk up in the loft was ideal for him to be able to get some work done and take some calls. The retractable gate that enclosed the wrap around deck allowed our dog to be outside off his leash. We had a great time and would definitely stay here again.

This was a fantastic experience for the whole family. A very roomy cabin with a lot of privacy and great views. So many things to do in the area and so many suggestions were given by the owners. We cooked inside and outside and lit a late night fire in the pit on the property a couple times. It was very clean and comfortable. While there is not an air conditioning unit, it did cool down quite a bit after the sun goes down and wasn't bad at all. Would definitely stay here again

This cabin is now a family favorite and we hope to return in the future. We stayed for a few days during spring break and enjoyed board games, watching the snow fall, and visiting Zion National Park. The cabin was perfect for our family of five. Our kids were asking when we could come back before we even left. If we ever stay here again, we will definitely follow the suggestion to fill the bird feeders. Many thanks to our excellent hosts.

Our family was comprised of myself, my husband, my father, our son - Age 10 and two fur babies. This home was everything we could have dreamed of and more. I remember reading someone else's comment saying Don't think about this one, JUST BOOK IT!, and I am so glad I listened. This home has something for everyone and was in such a wonderful setting. We DO recommend a four wheel drive (we had a Suburban Premier with 4WD high and low and it did amazing) - but anything non - 4WD - you're risking not being able to get up into the driveway up top. NO WORRIES if you do not have a 4WD, because there is parking at the bottom, but you'll need to trek your stuff up the stairs and when it's icy, it'll be quite a show for those around you. We can't thank Michelle and Franz enough for their hospitality, kindness and warmth of this home. We will absolutely be back, and won't be renting anywhere else!

The cabin was very comfortable, with two nice family rooms, a well stocked kitchen, and lots of places to sleep. We only had seven in our group, but could’ve easily been comfortable with double that amount. The deck had a propane grill, a heater, and fun string lights, which made it very accommodating for use in the evening. I would not recommend coming with more than two vehicles to stay here, as parking is very limited. I would stay here again.

My siblings and spouses had a great time. The house served our group. It was a comfortable place to prepare our dinner and rest after long days of exploring Zion, Bryce, and Capitol Reef parks. Be aware of the huge population of deer. Coming back at night we saw soooo many!!! Those of us on motorcycles were nervous about hitting one. The little community of Duck Creek is just a mile away. We got gas and service help on one of our bikes. There’s a nice diner in town also. But no large grocery store nearby so be sure to stock up in Cedar City on the way in. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals. We all thought the house was a perfect home base for our week of exploring beautiful southern Utah.

By far the nicest property we have stayed in. I chose this house because we were planning to visit both Zion and Bryce. While it was a bit of a drive to each (45-60 minutes), it is located right between them, so it worked out great. The layout is perfect to allow a family to spread out, with 2 bedrooms & a bath in the basement, one bed & bath on the main floor and the master with attached bath on the 2nd floor. Along with several couches that could provide extra sleeping arrangements. We LOVED Aunt Sue's restaurant in Duck Creek Village. Best meal we had all week. Can't recommend this house more!
