Our family- friendly cabin features all the amenities you can find at any resort. It sleeps 8 people comfortably. Assoon as you walk in the front door, you will be wowed by the over-sized logs through out the cabin.

We have unique hour glassed shaped entry ways and a beautiful curved staircase leading up to the loft area with a tree as a post. It is a great focal point in the home. Our in-door pool, hot tub and sauna will allow you to relax at any hour of the day. The custom Tuki Hut has 3 stools. There are 2 lounge chairs so you can watch your children have fun or just relax for yourself. There are two bedrooms with queen size beds and two sofa beds that can sleep the extra guests. We have provide a walking path that leads right down to the dock for access to swimming, fishing and boat docking.
For the protection and privacy (would be tresspassers) there is a security gate with a security camera located in eye's view. This is for your peace mind so no one will disrupt your stay at Wolf Lake Lodge. We also placed 4 other visible exterior cameras, by fire pit, carport, front door and by the dock. This is so the guest's outdoor vechicals and recreational vechicals are protected at all times in the event that a would be trespasser comes uninvited and interupts your much needed vacation. We would like to also inform each and everyone of our guests that there are absolutely no interior cameras located inside the cabin or looking into the cabin. We do have a panic button located in the laundry room of the cabin, linked directly to our monitering team as well as the Michigan state Police. We take great pride in ensuring our guests and their loved ones are protected during your stay.

For your larger motorized water vehicles there is access to the lake at Van Riper State Park, which you passed upon arriving from highway 41. If you love the winter sports there are well maintained trails for snow mobilizers and people who like to quad. Right down the road from us is Van Riper State Park, they offer camping and beach/boat access if you desire it.

Thirty miles east of us is the great town of Marquette which lays upon the shores of Lake Superior. It is a beautiful town with small shopping malls, a Walmart, Lowes, Target, several grocery stores, bakeries, farmers market, Walgreens, hotels, fine dining along the water as well as fast food, drinking establishments and a movie theater.

If you like golfing Marquette has three beautiful golf courses. Whatever your pleasure, you will surely find what you need. There is also an International airport and well equipped teaching hospital. Marquette also has beautifully groomed snowmobile trails that go for miles. You do not even need to load your snowmobile up on a trailer to reach the trails. Just follow your way up to the State Park at the beginning of Holli Blue Road and the trails begin there. Please go onto Marquette Snowmobile Trails for a full sized map of our trails. We have two sets of snowshoes for your enjoyment to travel through our woods.

Right off our property you can also enjoy ice-fishing. We have bass, walleye, northern pike and many other types of fish right in our own lake. If you love the fall colors, there are many different tours you can take. They have 165 miles of beautiful scenery for you to see.You can also enjoy the fall colors right on the property. We have a variety of animals right on the property. (deer, moose, black bear and other small game) unfortunately there is no hunting on our property at anytime. There is hunting in the surrounding areas.

In the Spring time you can sit back and enjoy everything coming to life once again. For the bird lovers we have a large amount of birds you can watch right on the front porch. We have a bald eagle that makes his home on our 100 year old pine tree.

The home shows much better than the photos. The drive to the property is worth the trip alone. We went over the first weekend in January so we spent a lot of time inside. The home was still all decked out for Christmas and very cozy. The kitchen is modern with everything you would need. The bathrooms are well-appointed. Our kids had a great time in the pool room and the adults enjoyed the hot tub and sauna. I can only imagine what it's like in the summer without the snow and all the lakefront options. It's not too far from Marquette and we took the kids there to visit the fun children's museum. There is also a well-stocked gas station/store in Michigamme just a few minutes away in case you need to pick up something you forgot. The owners were good to work with and we would certainly consider coming back.

Our time away at the Wolf Lake Lodge was spectacular! The cabin was equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable week away. The cabin itself was exceptionally clean when we arrived, and stocked with everything we needed. The amenities were excellent as well, and the pool/hot tub allowed provided built-in entertainment for our 2 kids under 12. The sauna and showers allowed for a spa-like feel for the adults. The hosts were what made our stay exceptional. They were in contact with us before our stay, and when things out of their control happened due to weather, they were responsive and helpful. Overall, it was an amazing way to disconnect and make memories for our family. We would love to come back and see what the UP and Wolf Lake Lodge has to offer in the summer months!

Our family had the best time making “lake life” memories at this cabin! The home was gorgeous. Loved the pool/sauna/spa, the master suite, lake deck access, all the various sitting areas—enjoyed it all. The kitchen was stocked with the pans/cookery needed, beds were comfortable…I could go on and on. And, while the location was deep in the woods (in a good way!), it was also close enough to do day trips to cliff jumping in Marquette and Pictured Rocks. Tim and Melanie were responsive hosts, and I would recommend this to anyone looking to get away from busy life. Thanks for sharing your home!

An incredibly beautiful secluded Northwoods retreat on a gorgeous lake and with every amenity and creature comfort inside and outside. Wonderfully informative and responsive hosts! The log home is striking with multiple indoor and outdoor seating spots, a fully equipped gourmet kitchen, comfortable beds, bathrooms that include roomy showers and a two person jacuzzi tub, and a spa room that includes an exercise pool, a hot tub, and a sauna. The lake is perfect for swimming and watching sunsets!

We had a group of 7 retirees staying at the Wolf Lake Lodge for a weekend of snowmobiling. The log home is beautiful and was furnished with everything we needed. Sleeping arrangements were a bit cramped since we had 3 singles in our group, this was not a surprise. Hanging all of our gear was also challenging, there is a lack of hooks and areas suitable for a group our size. The snowmobile trail access was about 7 miles by plowed rode. It’s a beautiful ride, but would be a problem with a warm-up. It snowed nearly the entire time we were there, and the trails were fantastic. Parking is difficult with a larger trailer. We easily parked 2 small trailers by the home. We managed to park 1 large trailer just outside the gate. We would definitely come back, but with a smaller group next time.

The cabin provided everything would need from the kitchen, towels and plenty of extra blankets/pillows. Tim and Melanie were alway very quick to respond to any questions we had. Do not hesitate to book! This may be the most special property we have ever stayed in the U.S. The owners have built a secluded oasis that will take your breath away. The attention to detail is second to none, and at every turn, something else just grabs your eye and makes you say well done. The log home is simply beautiful. The amenities are spot on, and virtually nothing forgotten. We had the pleasure of staying 3 nights, and during that time, we never heard a sound of the world. Honestly, not a car, airplane, highway sound, nothing. The only sound we heard was wind, water, rain...and silence. Oh, that sweet sound of silence. The jacuzzi, sauna and pool were incredible, and is there really anything better than listening to a fire, the only light, that of the dancing flames? Honestly, do not ever hesitate to book with these fine people. It has been a crazy year, and this was the perfect way to reconnect and rediscover. This was paradise. I've seen several reviews where people complained about this and that, silly things, like there's a giant cross in the living room. Rest easy, it's not giant, it's the same size most of us grew up with in our homes, and it's actually very nice to see that there are those amongst us still living the way they believe without fear of offending others. Follow their very simple rules, respect their property, take time to clear your mind and just breathe, and you too will fall in love with the world again. Thank you so much T & M!!

This is a beautiful and peaceful setting and an amazing cabin. Definitely a remote location, but with an indoor pool, hot tub and sauna there is everything you need to just sit back, relax and recharge and, the dock offers the ability to try your hand at fishing or just enjoy sitting in the sun. Highly recommend this place to anyone who wants a luxurious cabin experience. Owners were very prompt to respond to any questions we had during our stay. We will definitely return.

This cabin was amazing! First, prompt is an understatement to describe how fast the owners will get back to you if you have any problems, no matter how small and they are extremely thorough in making sure the problem gets solved! The pool and hot tub room were a special extra that we loved using to spend more time as a family just relaxing. We spent a lot of time on the dock enjoying the incredible view and the lake water was warm and a nice depth to be able to enjoy while still being able to touch the bottom. Everything about this cabin was wonderful and relaxing. It is quite a ways from sight seeing, however, I think everything is pretty spread out in the UP so it was not an inconvenience to us at all. We just took our time and enjoyed ourselves. The internet was a little spotty but again, you are in the middle of amazing wilderness and on vacation so it didn't bother us but if you are needing to work or something, it is just something to be aware of. This cabin had everything we needed to be able to relax and recharge! We will definitely be back!

This property is AMAZING! From start to finish, this was by far the best vacation and best rental we have stayed at. Tim and Melanie are so kind. The house is like a dream come true, from the gate opening, to the parking pad, to the porches, to the dock & lake, to the pool room. Everything is just as listed. Hosts had great communication. It was like living as royalty for a week. My mother wants to buy some of the same decorations, like the lights to the dock and the kitchen lights. We explored the area, UP is just magical. I am so glad we made the drive there, so many treasures, especially this home. We are already planning to return!

The dock area is great for boats, OK for swimming (you do also have an indoor pool) as it's fairly shallow around the dock (4' deep). Two boats could easily dock here.
