Perfect! Loved this spot.

We loved staying at this beautiful home. It is actually nicer than the pictures. Amazing views!! The only downfall was there isn't a driveway. Just a pull off in front on house. There is maybe room for two cars. We had a suv and there was maybe room left for a smaller car. We would definitely stay there again.

Absolutely beautiful home & the perfect place for our annual girls trip. We enjoyed our mornings by the fireplace with coffee & our nights at the outdoor table playing games. The kitchen had everything we needed and the furniture & beds were very comfortable. We plan to return to this beautiful home!

This clean, well furnished cabin was in an excellent location to view the fall colors. The host communicated very well and even came to clean the fallen leaves off the porches. One reason I chose this cabin for me and my husband with mobility issues was because it is easily accessible with a ramp. The main bedroom was on the first level, and two equally well equipped bedrooms are on the lower level. I highly recommend this cabin if you are looking for one in the Banner Elk area.

Very clean property!

Grandview was wonderful and had the most amazing view of the surrounding mountains!! It was very cozy and well appointed, especially the kitchen, although we did need a colander during our stay and there wasn't one to be found anywhere. We loved that it was in a gated community away from it all, but very close to everything. It was a great girls weekend for my mom, two sisters and me and it was halfway for all of us so we will definitely be back!! Thank you for sharing your home with us!!!

Beautiful and cozy mountain home with amazing views. Host was very communicative and the house is very close to town. There didn't appear to be A/C in the house (maybe I missed that in the listing), but otherwise couldn't have booked a better place!

Everything was as advertised until we entered the property. On August 16th at 6 pm it was 80 degrees and no A/C!! I contacted John and he said open the windows and let the cool mountain air flow in. We didn’t unpack because we didn’t think that would work. He was so right!! The rest of the week was great! The home is beautifully decorated and well stocked. The view at Grandview is truly grand!! Banner Elk dining is a special treat especially Sorentos and Stonewalls! Beech Mountain is beautiful and Boone is an easy drive away for shopping and visiting. John was very responsive and helpful! We definitely plan to come again and invite family to join us!

Great views and interior decor.

The home is more lovely than the pictures can show. And it’s decorated like someone’s home - not a generic rental. It has everything you’ll need for a peaceful stay in the mountains. And that view!!!! It’s truly amazing. We’ve stayed in another house on the street owned by the same couple and it, too, is wonderful. The kitchen is well equipped, whether you just want a quick breakfast or a full dinner feast. The layout is perfect for 2 couples - privacy for both but good common space for time together.

We had a nice 9 day stay in this home. Location is great with close proximity to Beech and Banner Elk. While the home was adequate, it should be noted that there is no A/C and needs some TLC. Coffee maker is extremely slow and one of the downstairs showers leaks. We also needed more than two towels per bathroom. Beds were ok but not extremely comfortable. Kitchen needs updated pans for cooking. One of the patio chairs was broken, which we realized after trying to sit in it. With some attention this would be a great house for 3 couples. Beautiful view from the deck and safe, gated community.

Second time staying at this property. We had a great time. The view is wonderful, and the cabin has a nice homey feel to it. The beautiful small town of Banner Elk boasts great restaurants and is conveniently located near Boone and Blowing Rock.

We had a great stay at this property. 3 king beds in 3 bedrooms with attached bathrooms were perfect for our family. Btw, there is another living room with TV downstairs where 2 bedrooms are, perfect for different groups to chill out in their own ways. The deck was perfect with southern view of the sky. Though I got my telescope, due to overcast skies and rain I couldn’t use it but anyone looking forward to sky watch, this would be a great place. Few issues I would like to mention to the host. We figured out how to start the gas grill but at least provide a big lighter because the start plug doesn’t work. Also, I would highly recommend a keurig with some supplies - you will impress your guests! Coffee availability in mountain areas is a must, it’s no fun to drive early in the morning! Overall, I definitely liked the property and would rent it again!!!

Great house with 3 King bedrooms.

This is the second time we’ be e stayed at the Grand View and we love it. It is a little off the beaten path, but not too far from everything and the views are unbeatable. The lace is well stocked and so comfy. We love it and will be back again.

The cabin is very comfortable for 3 couples. The kitchen is well stocked. The view from the main areas is fantastic. There are many hikes in the area which was important to our group.

Spotless accommodations, responsive host, and a beautiful view. We loved watching the fog roll in and out and the gorgeous sunsets over the mountains. Went skiing at both Sugar and Beech Mountain, as well as tubing. Curled up by the fire afterward, I didn’t want to leave.

This property was outstanding! The view was spectacular. The home was spotless. It was decorated beautifully. Quite honesty, everything about it exceed expectations (which were very high). Probably the best VRBO we've ever experienced. We highly recommend this property.

A beautiful home and view! A wonderful 3 day getaway!

The property has excellent views overlooking the mountains. The cabin is spacious, clean and has comfortable seating. The one fact that renters should be made aware of prior to booking, is that one must drive approximately 6 miles on the other side of Banner Elk to dispose of trash. There is no outside trash can on the property. We are seasoned travelers and visit that area often and NEVER did we have to haul off our own trash. If it is not described in the listing, they don’t have it….like Air conditioning. It is not listed, thus, no AC. For a luxury listing, this is missing comfortable pillows, the beds squeak and guests are given the bare minimum as far as towels. Not to mention the closets have wire hangers. Our family had a good time but would not book this cabin again because of the issues noted.

Very clean property, and I felt it was even nicer in person than the pictures conveyed! Beautifully decorated and spacious. Loved the deck and view!

Only downsides were no soap in showers (as advertised), only allowed 2 bags of trash (as advertised) and shower in #3 bath was lousy

Very nice house with a great view! Lamps could use brighter bulbs.
